What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

My Florida vacation this summer is now confirmed. Something fun to look forward to and looking my best is giving me a bit of an extra push for the next couple of months. After that? I want to keep progressing with my calisthenics and yoga moves. I can do a few pushups, some full sit-ups, and do squats till the cows come home. What can I accomplish by August? Becoming better everyday is what keeps me going.7

To hit the 50 pound loss number. I'm currently at 47.8 pounds lost. Going to Wrigley field in July & I want to be able to take my shirt off in public without being embarrassed. Getting closer every day9

Hi I like to lose just over 5lbs then it will be a stone and half gone since Jan 2018
And keep cycling a hour a day and increase miles each week4 -
Met my goal of 130 before Memorial Day weekend!
New goal of 70 lbs lost, which means only .4 to go! (128.2)7 -
Mini goal is to get to 135lbs....only 2 pounds to go. The will officially mean that I am done with the weight loss portion! I set a maintenance range of 135-140! I'm losing slowly now and not really stressing so I don't know how long it will take. In my mind I am aiming for the end of June.
Another mini goal for summer is to work on my core strength, adding ab workouts at the end of my daily routine. Lots of work to do in that department!8 -
Just today met my first mini goal of 12 pounds. It puts me back to 190 which is where I started MFP the first time in 2012. I am rewarding myself with a little shopping this weekend. New goal is 180!8

Currently visiting some family members who haven't seen me in more than two years so I'm getting a lot of those 'Wow, you've lost a lot of weight, good for you!' comments. I've still got as much as 20 pounds to go, but knowing me this type of positive reinforcement will have me getting overconfident rather than motivating me to work even harder, and I don't want to end up thinking to myself, 'Well, this is good enough,' then get lazy.
@HDBKLM want us to message at the end of your trip to remind you?
Hahaha awesome, and yes why not! You and anybody else who would like to send me a 'B**** get over yourself, you're still fat' message this coming Tuesday should feel free to add me.5 -

If you use a phone emoji, it will cut off all text after the emoji, @JessiBelleW6 -
Tummy tuck covered by insurance.
I lost nearly 200lbs over 2 years by eating at a caloric deficit and moderate exercise. I stopped losing because my stomach flap was getting really bad and prone to infection. After a year, I still have the flap and have maintained my weight +/-5lbs. Because of a nasty infection last month, my insurance is covering my tummy tuck as being medically necessary.
So now I am trying to drop as much as (safely) possible before my surgery on Aug. 2nd. Both my GP and Platic surgeon support this weight loss pre-surgery. Per my plastic surgeon, the looser my skin is pre-op, the easier the removal will be; ends up better results.33 -
OK this is a weird one - I have always kind of wanted to pose as a life model for an art class (i.e. student artists draw me naked). I am going to do it this Saturday! I think it will be a fun, positive experience and I'm looking forward to seeing the artists' work. But it's definitely making me want to take it easy on the treats this week, haha.13

I want to stop getting the "you're doing great!"'s when I'm out running. Not because I dont like them - in fact, I appreciate when people recognize how hard I'm working - but because I want to look like someone who doesn't need the extra encouragement if that makes sense.. hahaha29

1. To be able to use my weights for the entire portion of strength training workout (currently at 60-75% depending on day).
2. To be able to start a HIIT routine in July and not feel like I'm overdoing it5 -

Well I wore them out in public yesterday and today

I'm so glad you posted this. When I first started weightlifting, those comments were ambiguous--did I look like I needed encouragement? I couldn't tell. I tried to take them in the best possible light, but they made me wonder.
Now, when I get complements on my weightlifting, I know that it's because I actually look great. A lot of women have been complementing me recently, and I just now realized that I have no doubts anymore.
Thanks for helping me with insight, and good luck with your running8 -
I'm almost overweight rather than obese!12

Going across the country next week to visit extended family who haven’t seen me in awhile and I want to be 25 pounds lighter than I was at Christmas.3

Mini-goal for this month is to lose 5 pounds. My son is getting married in a month, so I would like to be well on into some weight loss.8
