Puh.Stock.Key.O vs. Pist.ah.she.O
I don't think anyone pronounces it that first way. Do they?
My ex was Italian and he did. It didn’t sound normal to me.
Isn’t that how they pronounce all their ch’s?
Speaking of which, it drives me nuts when people pronounce bruschetta as ‘bru shetta’. It’s ‘broos ketta’ ya dummies!
Sometimes when I don't know how to pronounce something off the menu I'll just point to it and say, "I'd like this please," because I'm scared of potentially embarrassing myself
Ketta? Really? Ive been saying "shetta"0 -

Most Americans do. Italians pronounce it like they do ‘forchetta’ (for-ketta)

Wondering how long it's gonna to take to get used to living in an empty house again. Aggravated that even after working in IT for several years, networking still seems sorta like magic (I'm a hardware guy at heart). Stressing about an upcoming opportunity to interview for my dream job, and hoping my co-workers and operations manager aren't making a mistake by going out on a limb to recommend me.
...and wishing my damn dog would stop farting tonight. It's hard enough to study without the noxious green cloud of pooch poot.4 -
Echo Kashmir’s post above. My son is struggling, and that hurts deeply.1

Why do opossums make this face? I can't tell if they're angry or startled like I just walked in on them doing something I shouldn't have seen.
