Learning to move on without getting into another relationship.

A difficult feat as you'd be surrounded daily by "great prospects." Hugs!

Is my friend interested in me? If so, why hasn't he asked me out yet? I feel like I've given him enough signals. Also, why am I a 13 year old girl when it comes to relationships?

why not ask him out instead?

nothing crazy, maybe just out for a quick lunch....

    or a weekend in Barbados.

Well, I texted him that my plans were cancelled for tomorrow and asked him if he had any suggestions. He said he was staying in tomorrow.

That's as close to asking him out as I could get. But maybe I'll post the whole story so y'all can see how much of a 13yr old newb I am, lol.

No disrespect, but I found your post really confusing.

None taken, as you'd clearly failed to read it as it was written.
So basically your mom got approached by a small time porn director for funding,

If you'd read the last sentence in paragraph 4, I clearly state that the entry level porn actors give their reels to the "big film makers" ...Enter the Director/Producer who'd approached our Mum. He is no small time Producer/Director with over 200 films aired on Playboy, Hustler and Penthouse@ his soft porn film productions. I would imagine those wanting to enter this industry would like to skip the process and meet him, with the likelihood of being cast in his films.
you and your siblings were naturally curious and decided to do some research on the dude, and then you met some lady who knew all about the industry who said that low rent porn is where the money is at, and then you guys did a ton of research

That is basically what due diligence is. As responsible investors, one must deconstruct the business to see if it is feasible. He was a man who'd presented himself to the government in the islands as an upstanding filmmaker. Was he? Yes and no. The man failed to say to a Methodist (my Mum in a predominantly Methodist country), with money to spend that he wrote, produced and directed porn. In his industry he is George Lucas, only that he isn't "Hollywood."

Internet porn companies were the targets of the term used by a woman who'd received Hedge fund backing to revive a major brand in this industry, as the Skid Row of the industry, as they are non traditional. She is highly respected in this industry herself mirroring the Director/Producer who'd approached my Mum.

Low rent? Is that slang? Comparatively to the hundreds of millions to billion dollars starter porn companies, any filmmaking company with less than $90 million, is considered small in this industry. Those who monetise porn on the net, are making bank. They are ahead of the curve with real money being made daily. These rogue type porn companies have become thorns to the initial Porn Industry starters (known by name to the Department of Justice), who have had to deal with their subscriptions being dropped by US military commissaries and hotels - a direct result of failure to move stock for one, likely due to porn being so accessible online.
and ended up investing in it???? So you don’t really support the industry and the way it works, but the money is good so you (your mom?) stay in it?????

No, we did not as clarified in my last paragraph. The money is good for those who know how to preempt online trends in this industry within their preferred niches and segments.

    Oh okay.
