Probably mostly water weight. It will drop off. You'd have to eat roughly 24,500 calories above maintenance to gain 7 pounds of fat. Do you think you did that? It's possible, but not very darned likely.
Just get back on your regular routine, give it a week or two. I predict you'll be fine.

This. Traveling and likely eating out a lot will cause water retention.1 -
Did you fly? Flying is notorious for causing water retention.. It should dissipate within 3-10 days.1

Thank you. I watched my calories everyday well I tried. On my last day, I did have a off day but I continued to do 20k steps a day. I will see what it does this week, I’m hoping it’s just water weight.0

You're going to let us know, I hope? Otherwise, it's like missing the last episode of a TV miniseries. Hoping for a happy ending!3 -

Just because you do exercise doesn't mean you can't put on weight. It all depends on what calories you ate and what calories you burnt.2 -
You probably were eating a lot of sodium. Restaurant food is always loaded with it. If you were using your legs more than usual, then the odds are also that you're doubly retaining fluid because of muscular inflammation. It should all even out in a week or so.1

There are hidden offenders in restaurant food so it's hard to gauge macros, micros and calories. Clear the decks and clean the slate. Think of your very next meal as your reset. You had a good time and now it's back to business. It's not what we do some of the time but most of the time that matters.3

I gained roughly 15 while on vacation in early May. I ate and drank all the things and worked out every day. I'm back to 'normal' now and we've been back for 2 weeks.0

Makes sense. I completely agree with all of you... back on track today. Will provide update by end of the week or next.1
