I feel you! I have been feeling the same way!1 -
Keto-er as well. Been doing it since February, missed the Keto Flu (because I made sure to consume tons and tons of Electrolytes (Sodium, Potassium and Magnesium) but stopped several weeks ago because powerlifting was super tough. Anyway, not doing powerlifting any more so back to Keto. Love the lifestyle. Not changing again. I investigated Keto due to high A1C that I have had for a decade or so.....so, there was a medical reason. I have learned lots of things along the way. I will gladly share. I am a horrible person to ask for food help, though. I eat the same seven or eight things day in and day out....always been that way. So, dont ask for food advice! LOL!1

Hi. I will get back on Keto as well. I have lost 15 lbs with it in a short amount of time. It works for sure. I didn't have issues with the Keto flu and I felt much better with less carbs. Let's jump back on it.1

@jaimennadia and others after 4 years of keto I still get a feeling of being overwhelmed for the info overload and in part due to the 'disinformation' overload in the media of all types. The false statements in the news and social media in general keeps me reading research just to make sure Keto is the best way that I can eat for my health today.
What I have found over the last few years is to just focus on keeping my daily carb total under 50 grams and the macros of protein and fats will work themselves out just by trial and error. Macros will vary from person to person and even with the same person so it is really hard to screw Keto up long term.
I started Keto seriously Oct 2014 at the age of 63 to avoid starting Enbrel injections for pain management. In 30 days Keto was dropping my pain like a rock and I was able to say no at my doctor's appointment Nov 2014.
While I did not start Keto to lose weight as a side effect of this Way Of Eating I did lose 50 pounds and have maintained that loss for the past three years so I am no longer obese. I stay with this WOE because my general health and all of my health markers continue to improve giving me better health and hope for the future. At 67 I am in better health and happier than 30 years ago.
There are other Keto sub groups on MFP that I find helpful as well.
Just remember it is fine to look at how others do Keto but in the end it is the WOE that works best for you that counts. I do not track what I eat but do weigh every morning and tweak my eating should I get outside of 195 by +/- 5 pounds.
Before Keto the carvings/binging for 40 years was killing me. Yes the first two weeks were hellish because I finally had to go off of all foods containing added sugar and any form of any grain to break free from my old WOE. Because of the awesome success I have experienced from my Keto WOE I plan to keep this WOE for the rest of my life. Anything that I can do especially at my age to decrease my risk of stroke, cancer, dementia, type 2 diabetes or heart attack now has my attention. What I eat I now understand can impact my health for the better or for the worse. All one needs to find the WOE that works best for them whatever that may be.
I even have family members that see my results and have on their own started to changing their Way Of Eating to making it less carb centered without input from me.
Best of continued success to each one. Small changes when you are young can pay great dividends in the short and long term.

I'm three weeks into keto and fricken love it. The stable day long energy is remarkable. I did a 5.5 hour mountain hike on the weekend and with only water, two hardboiled eggs, a handful of nuts, and 2 babybel cheese rounds after a 16 hour intermittent fast; I never dipped in my energy levels. I have been a deeply emotional lover of carbs over the years and couldn't imagine this, but I am so devoted now. Feel free to add me, anyone!3
