About 10 lbs. lighter than my heaviest (293) on the left. Last week, trying on a new suit at 204.50 -
302 lbs down to 170 lbs
5'8", 130 lbs lost, 51 years old
Last weekend made all the sacrifice so worthwhile--I couldn't stop smiling. We climbed down and back up a steep gorge. Climbing up (all switchbacks) I basically did a sprinting walk for 40 minutes. It felt so good, stretching and using those quads. At the top, my friend made the comment that she couldn't believe I wasn't even out of breath. Lemme tell you, at 300 lbs I couldn't have crawled up that thing. Weight loss, strength training, and running have made me into a much happier person!

I posted before of just my stomach but here is a full body shot. I gained more after this before pic was taken but due to dodging all cameras, I don't have many before pics. I lost 40 lbs from February 2017 to Sept 2017 and have since kept it off and gained muscle. I have pretty much reversed pre diabetes (now struggling with low blood sugar instead) and I have stopped all high blood pressure meds. I feel the best I have ever felt in my life at age 35! Keep up the hard work everyone, because results do come! It took me 10 weeks to lose the first 10 pounds! I wanted to quit so many times but I am so glad that I didn't!

I posted a running before and after picture on this thread already, but came across an old photo from June 2013 (left) recently that reminded me of how far I've come. The middle photo is from the summer of last year. The right photo is from yesterday.

I’m no one special.....as such, I believe anyone is capable that is willing to put in the work. I’m at my lowest adult weight ever. My intent was to stop at 215-220, but my body decided otherwise. We shall see. On the upside, recomp is going well. Gaining muscle mass and getting bigger and smaller in all the correct places.
Just realized my slippers make my feet look GIANT!!84 -

Thanks to everyone for sharing. It’s inspiring and motivating to see what each of have achieved and hear about your journey.
I’m just coming to the end of my first work and for the first time in my life I’ve actually followed it and not cheated.
I need to lose at least 50lbs so I’ll start with that and see where this ride takes me.11 -

I am always incredibly impressed by people's success and don't often single one out for indivivual comment. But I just had to say that in your 'after' shot you could be your 'before' shot's daughter Congtatulations! And to all the other successes on here - well done.10 -

Congratulations on your first week. If you’re anything like me.....or like most of us here, you’ll experience a lot of “firsts.” Embrace all of them: even the ones that make you scratch your head because they’re all a part of the process. Remember it’s a marathon.....not a sprint.8 -
