This is 100% my motivator too. It was my 33rd birthday at the weekend and my face looks like a moon in all the photos. It made me so sad because I thought I looked pretty good.
Also, I've been single for a while now and I'm too lacking in confidence to go on a date right now. I want to be chatted up in bars. I feel invisible at the moment.17 -

You have a pretty face though. It's not so round it's unattractive.0 -
Revenge..........I want to show an "it" that I can be a better person...........The women that "it" is typically attracted to, take care of themselves...........I know one and it feeds my insecurities. Just enough to give me that extra ooph to start and keep going.5

I have been married for 41 years and I have never weighed less than my husband. He is 6 feet tall and I am 5ft 2 inches.19

No longer want to be labelled as "that fat girl".
And to be more handsome than my boss.6 -
This sounds awful... I want to be the slimmest and healthiest in my family. We have lots of Cherokee blood. My whole life I was told that we are just "big boned" and didn't have it in our genes to be slim. Mostly for health reasons though.7

I want to live long enough to see my grandchildren disappoint my children...52

I'll be 61 in August and I've lost 50 lbs so far...got another 50 to go but it's coming off!16 -

Serious reason: I need to control my weight via food since I can't be as active I used to be (hip-replacement later this year will help with that).
Petty reason 1: I have some cute clothes that are bit too snug and I want to feel more comfortable in them.
Petty reason 2: My underwear is too tight. Life's uncomfortable in ill fitting underpants.21 -
My husband to be had a brain stem stroke in January and it suddenly made us both realise life is so very precious. He's lost 4 and half stone now and I've lost 2 stone so far. It's not easy juggling home, work, children and a complete change in life but I am so determined to become a fit and healthy person to be able to support my partner for hopefully many years to come.

I would like for the first thing people notice or see in me to not be my weight.19

Yup, for me it's the combination of fat face + double chin + food baby pregnancy look. In the last two weeks I have seen several pictures of myself (some of them I didn't even know were taken) where I have none of those things. THAT *kitten* is motivating, even though the scale hasn't moved in a couple of weeks.mortikarobinette wrote: »I want my boobs to stick out farther than my tummy again.
SAME, girl, same. I sometimes do a "toe check" in the shower where I look down and see how much of my toes and feet I can see from under my tummy. I started with no toes at all, now I'm already halfway up my foot.

Vanity. I might be a middle aged mom, but I can be a hot middle aged mom.19

I started my journey to live and not die. How It began ended up being the most petty reason that I showed myself to this person. I worked for a company 18 years in management. Never missed a deadline, never missed a goal or a quota. I gave them 60+ hours a week out of guilt they had a fat woman in management. I knew the family owned business didn't like overweight women. How? The daughter told me which is why she struggled so hard with her own weight. The office manager would have to hire temp receptionists so they could go and see if they were pretty and thin enough to actually hire. So in a effort to save the company during bad financial times they downsized and only the three overweight employees were let go. From there I progressed to being home bound and hidden away by myself for five years. It was the most devastating thing and how I handled it was to die in food. I have over the past two years lost 280+ pounds. My life is good, it's active, it's memorable and it's hard work. I recently in public came face to face with him which I had secretly wanted to show him he didn't win. It disgusted me when he hugged me and told me I look great. Instead of asking about my child, my husband he only asked how I lost the weight. I simply said a lot of hard work and time in the gym. I guess I walked away with sweet revenge but honestly he revolted me. Everything I do is for my health, my life and my family.33

My niece told me once I could not lose weight without surgery. She said I wasn't strong enough. Today, I am 40 pounds lighter, on my own with no surgery.33

My petty reason - I have this dream outfit, and I want it to look good.10

My boobs and tummy have been competing up to this point. Some weeks my boobs stick out further, some weeks it's my belly. I am grateful to be losing in general but my boobs can stop shrinking already!9 -
I want to be the thin mom at my kids' school5

I apologize for my language above. I said the other term for donkey - nothing worse4

I have a few.
1. To weigh less than my husband
2. I don't want to lie about my weight on my driver's license anymore (says I'm 190; I'm 240)
3. To prove my dad that I'm not a worthless fatty (not that I'd ever talk to him again, but let him hear/see pics through the grapevine)
4. Not barely fit in the seats on roller coasters
5. Not have to look at the back of a clothing rack for my size and shop like a "normal" person16 -
I miss being able to wear my husband’s shirts.7

I want to stop feeling disgusting too. I want to feel "hot" and not because of the daam humidity.
I also have a specific "look" I want my body to present as..and it's not like a heavily padded rectangle. I also want to feel comfortable in my clothing and I know my mindset has a lot to do with that. Still, these are my "petty" reasons7 -
Fit back in jeans I had before my twins. They are 5 so baby weight is not an excuse anymore. Plus just to feel pretty again!4
