Emotional eating

I'm not sure if there is a post on the topic of emotional eating, but I could have missed it. I am really bad about emotional eating. When I have a stressful or emotional day I eat terribly. Which isn't great because I tend to have a busy stressful daily life with young kids getting into everything and a busy naughty dog that I will just go into the other room and eat donuts or whatever lol I have gained quite a bit of weight in the last 3 years and I really want to get it off. But I just don't know how to kick these habits. Anyone else struggle with this?
