I want to continue being the hot mom. Seriously. It feels good to be mistaken as my teenagers older sister. I have never veered past a healthy weight but was getting close to the upper BMI for my height. That and I like being able to say I can still fit my old uniforms.5

My patient (older adult) said, “why do I need to do exercise? She does it everyday and is fat.” So I don’t want to be the fat exercise instructor16

I laughed out loud at "human potato" lol. Good on ya! Get that hot bod!3 -
I dont want my girls to think it's the norm to be overweight and I want to be the person I was when I got married. After twin girls it's been hard to find the time but I've decided to stop trying to find excuses not to and find some for why I should. I must confess I'm afraid of not making it happen
Petty reason I dont want my girls to be fat15 -

I just want to LIVE!....... I had a "mini stroke" or T.I.A. last December which really came as a shock! I have had no after effects as such but WOW! What a wake up call! I was told to get my cholesterol down, blood pressure down, exercise more, & lose weight. I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation which caused the T.I.A. so I must now take "beta blockers", anti coagulants & statins. I have always had low blood pressure, walk for miles & tried constantly to keep my weight down. NOW I HAVE HAD THE PUSH I REALLY NEEDED.......From 17th January to now I am down 34lbs! And I will keep on trying! I feel so much better in myself too!
I don't suppose this is a "petty" reason, but I've used loads of them before like not having photos taken, buying a "skirted swimsuit", wanting to be the smallest of your friends etc but believe me nothing hits home like the threat to your mortality...16 -
My husband might find me attractive again and won’t mind being seen with me in public.42

I don't want putting on damned socks to be a painful experience.12

My petty reason is that for once in my life I wanna see pictures of myself and say man that girl is hot. Instead of I look so fat.
I wanna finally be one of the skinny pretty girls that I always see in public7 -
When you become 53 years old as a woman, you become invisible....and when you are heavy and 53 .... you are screwed....seriously.... at least this is my experience. I want my outside to match how strong I am in this world....22

I'm a counselor so I sit all day and I'm well aware that when I sit my fat stomach poofs up making me look pregnant. I've caught more than one client's eyes drifting to my stomach. I don't want to be the fat counselor anymore. I feel like I'm seen as less professional sometimes because of my weight.12

I want to start a new hobby where there are people I don't know who will consider me as a normal athletic guy from day 1. No back story etc13
