New mini goal: to master shoulder hooping. I can kinda clumsily do it for a few seconds, so my goal is to be able to easily do it with flow, for as long as I want to! I’ve been practicing hard, and am pretty sure my chest, shoulders and arms will be covered in bruises tomorrow.2

I will be flying in October, the last time I flew was 2 years ago. Looking back at my weight logs, I weigh the same now (after losing 23 pounds) as I did that flight. I had to use a seat belt extender. That flight was American, the year prior we flew Southwest, and I needed an extender then as well, but was too embarrassed to ask. I could get it clipped together, but if I breathed too hard, it popped, so I took small breaths when it needed to be on.
I don't know what airline we'll be flying, but my goal is to keep on my 1 pound a week loss, be down 8 pounds from that weight that needed an extender. I don't know if I'll still need one, but at least I'll know I wasn't as heavy as the last time I flew.18 -
Lose a bit of weight so that my new green fall jacket isn't tight in the hips. 25 years old and it'll be my first semester being a full time student again 😄9

I’m surprising the boyfriend with a surprise visit at the end of this month (he lives in Italy, me in England). Haven’t seen him since the beginning of last month. Want to lose about 5lbs before I see him, then maintain the loss whilst in Italy as I have a wedding on the 8th of September where I haven’t seen some of my family in about 10 years.9

I want to look as fantastic as I can by the time my husband returns from his trip on Aug. 16.6

Less than ten pounds to go before I'm no longer obese!8

1.5 kg to my first major goal of 20kg lost3

Thirty-fifth H.S. class reunion coming up in 6 weeks. It would be nice if I was below 210# (started at 265+ in Feb) by then.
I briefly saw 219.5 on the scale Saturday, but 220.5 was the logged value.
At 1.5 - 2.0 pounds per week, I could be below 210, but I'm not counting on it, nor will I engage in heroic efforts to get to the arbitrary value.6 -
After taking a week off, my mini goals: 1.) to stay within my calories each day this week, 2.) get in a workout each day. That one may be difficult with the kiddos' back to school stuff this week.3
-
1. Food prep this week and 2. Stay in macros2

16 more lbs and I will be 100lbs down. I’m trying to reach it by the end of august.7

Just reached 85 lbs lost in total. In 25 more pounds I will be back down to my high school weight. Peaking for an olympic triathlon this coming Sunday.6

I hit 149.5 last week, my lowest weight in, I don't know how long. Another 1.5 and I'll be at 40 lbs lost since my daughter was born 3 years ago.
I'd like to get down to 138 and make it a total of 50, but depending on how things go, I may just focus on recomp to get rid of the mummy tummy.8 -
Be a "normal" BMI by my birthday8

My family is having a get together at the end of the month and I want to lose some more weight before I see everyone. I purchased a new swim suit, I am at that odd time when XL is too loose and large is just a bit snug. I am trying to lose a few more pounds so by the time I see everyone the large will be a little more comfortable.

Actually, I've had to come back because I just made up another one. When I got up to my highest weight, right before I started doing something about it, I went shopping because I wanted a denim jacket. I was with my partner, and I tried it on, and it just looked horrible. My boobs were gigantic and my belly came out even further in front. I just looked old, matronly and frumpy, and very, very round! We both agreed it didn't suit me, and I put it back. I was upset, because it was such a normal piece of clothing, and I'd never had to worry about a denim jacket in the past. So, my new mini goal is to get to a point where I don't look matronly or dumpy in a denim jacket. That might be the case now, I don't know.16

For the next 7 days, get a start on making exercise part of the morning routine by doing something every day for 20 minutes, even if it’s just dancing around the living room or walking around the block.
Eventually I’d like to run every morning, like I used to years ago, but can’t run yet and am not yet in the habit of getting up and out early. So gotta start somewhere!

First goal met! Now for those 4 lbs.7 -
I really want to lose 3.5 lbs by August 11th. My kids have a ballroom competition that day and I would love to hit a milestone for it. Then another 5 pounds by September 1st. That would put me at pre pregnancy weight for baby number 5...he is 2 now. 🤣 Not even looking at pre 1, 2, and 3-4 (twins)
So I didn’t make my 3.5 lbs. BUT, I am not letting the fact that my loss has been slower derail me. I am still losing! Keeping a positive outlook is my NSV today.

Mini-goal 2: Hit 25% of target. Aiming for this by mid-August, just ahead of my friend's wedding.
Mini-goal 1 achieved this morning! 😀
(Existing) Mini-goal 2: Hit 25% of target. Aiming for this by mid-August, just ahead of my friend's wedding.
(New) Mini-goal 3: Build enough strength to start a progressive lifting programme like stronglifts. Aiming for early October. (Hopefully sooner but even bodyweight squats are currently a challenge.)
Just met Mini-goal 2 this morning!! I'm delighted. I really needed a boost after a really tough week.
Mini-goal 4: I have a fortnight until my friend's wedding and my new mini-goal for that day is to be able to zip up my pretty new dress without hurting my fingertips! (And then to find as many opportunities as I can to wear it before it gets too small!! )
Mini-goal 5: To be brave enough to try a new activity with a social dimension. More than anything else, this will push me out of my comfort zone.
Mini-goal 6: To reach a loss of 2 stone (28lbs/12.7kgs). This would bring me just over 33% to goal. Aiming for this by 15 September at the latest.9 -
To get into the 160s before my man gets home from deployment...22 lbs down, just 5 lbs left to go!14

Now only 3 pounds from a normal BMI !11

I shop at two main clothing stores, one does sizes in misses (2/4/6/8/10 etc) the other in juniors (1/3/5/7/9 etc). In the juniors clothing store, I just got into size 11 jeans with only a smidge of muffin top. So my next mini goal is to fit into them completely smoothly. I’m just so excited that it’s the final size before I’m back into single digits.
I don’t know why I find it more exciting than being in size 10 pants which I’m about to by for work, because it’s the same thing. But for some reason it just doesn’t excite me the same way. Maybe because the junior store is more hip/sexy and the misses store is more for work? So come on size 11!5 -
