I don't know where that stupid fibroid is hiding. I can see it (and feel it) bulging out a little when I'm lying on my back, but otherwise, it's not very noticeable. I've seen scans of it and it takes up all the space. My tail bone curves around it. Looks pretty cozy in there. All the organs are pushed up and out and all over the place. Gross. I hide it well, though, LOL. My midsection "probably" would come in tighter if I didn't have that large mass in there, but whatever. It's fine either way.
I've always REALLY liked the way that my body looks, and have no problem at all with the cute little swell of my abdomen. It's sad that some women today think that a normal, natural woman body is somehow wrong. I always thought that little tummy curve was just a woman thing. Totally normal, natural curving. No Instagram model's funky posing or photo-shopped pics are gonna change my mind on that. I'm very fit and my body does all the things I want it to do, so I consider myself to be perfect just as I am.
I'll see your small cantaloupe fibroid and raise you a small soccer ball fibroid. Great job hiding yours!

No tumors, no fibroids, but I do have a tummy. In fact, I have always said jeans companies should have relaxed tummy, not relaxed butt jeans.
I weighed 190 and wore XXL or 18 pants. Even at 116 I wear 4 pants. The legs are baggie and the waist is snug.10 -
Not quite ready to post anything, but I appreciate this thread so much! Body shaming whether internal or external is rampant in society. I've never had a "flat stomach" and I've also have struggled with weight since puberty. I'm down about 80 lbs and wonder how my stomach may look being at a healthy weight/BMI considering I've never been at a healthy weight as an adult. I also have had had 2 babies. Thank you ladies for sharing ❤💜❤💜❤18

Sorry I’m late to the party, ladies! The start of the new school year has me crazy already.
Here is a pic of how I look right now.
I’m on my second “set” of fibroids.
The first set consisted of 3, one grapefruit size, which weighed 8 lbs, one “orange”, and one “plum”. Only the grapefruit was removed, as the other 2 are embedded (submucosal) in my uterine lining, the grapefruit was hanging (pedunculated).
Now I have 5 new/additional ones. A couple dime size, a couple nickles, and one quarter. So I’m up to about $.55 and a couple fruits short of a fruit cocktail!! 😝
I have to tease a little bit, helps me keep my head up! 😀

I am a fibroid belly too. No pics tonight but my uterus is totally playing the “fake gain” mindgames with me lately. Inflammation/bloating/fibroid shifting causing tenderness and bulging makes me look 6 months pregnant on a bad day on top of being about 30%bf. I have a whole second set of clothing for those days. I can deal with the fact that my stomach is not as flat after three huge babies, a front tipped uterus, and crazy stretch marks. But add in the fibroids and the problems they create, and I am so over owning a uterus! I am just working on finding a doc to take it out and that will hopefully solve one or two of the handful of medical issues I am fighting.16

Thank you to all of those of you with fibroids and cysts posting. I wonder how many women are carrying large fibroids that think they need to lose weight. I'm a very cysty person. My breasts are riddled with them, my ovaries are covered in them and every few months I grow a nice large one that pokes my stomach out some and causes a lot of pain when it bursts.

I had my first child nearly 17 years ago. I've only lost weight in the last year and still have a few pounds to go. I want to start trying to tone my stomach BUT I hate what I see and whilst that should be motivation enough, I suffer from depression and have BPD... my stomach was marginally smaller before i had an emergency appendectomy in dec 2014. for whatever reason - it all went to hell after that. i was 150 when that happened.
this is inspirational ladies! kudos to you all for putting your photos up here. we have so much to be grateful that our bodies, in whatever format they are, take us through our daily lives. xo

So far, so good, huh? But wait...
I'm probably not even fully slouched in the left pic since I was holding the phone out to take the pic and balancing myself a bit. And you can see that even though I have never been overweight, my skin has lost a LOT of elasticity with menopause.52 -

@ythannah, you visuals are beautiful, but please eat more so you are not underweight as per BMI.
I do know BMI has to be taken in congunction with other body metrics, but as a lightweight myself, I think you are probably not at a healthy weight.

Just curious. If @ythannah had not posted her stats (BMI in particular) would her pictures alone have generated your comments. To me she looks in amazing shape, very strong and muscular. Don't want to derail this discussion because it really puts things back to reality as to what real women look like at all ages and weights and body shapes and history, but your concerned comment had me curious.32 -

I am the hard gainer poster child, I have my father's physique. It has taken me over 30 years to gain 14 bs. Being underweight all my life was one of the things that motivated me to take up lifting as I was hoping to add muscle weight and, more importantly, increase my bone density.
My doctor isn't concerned at all, my health markers are excellent (other than hypertension, which I also inherited from my dad) and I almost never get sick.... the last time I had the flu was in 1983, and my last cold was two or three years ago!56 -
I really had to think for a while until I decided to post here as I am fairly slim and have somewhat ok core strength. But to show that I also have an uterus pouch when standing relaxed here are my photos, right from my summer vacation (ignore the mess in the bedroom )
BMI or Height/Weight/Bone Structure: 169cm, about 61kg (no scale here), wide pelvis and shoulders, tiny wrists.
Possibly still some flight water retention, and doms (Big time! )

BF%: If you know: no idea. Unless BF stands for blue 'flecks', which is always a very high percentage. I just bruise easily

Medical Conditions affecting appearance: scoliosis and other strange things with my spine. But strength training improves my posture

No, I would not have thought of ythannah as underweight from the visuals, like I said she does have a beautiful body.

1 pregnancy now I dont have any conditions but I do have what's called a B belly and it makes me cringe everytime I look in the mirror. Btw this picture was at my lowest . As you can see when I pull up my underwears above my b belly you cant tell (at least that's what I tell myself)
I'm at the starting end of a hundred-plus pound journey, and one of my fears has been just what I might look like if when I get to my goal weight. And now I know that while I might not look perfect, if I look at all like you, I will be beautiful!
