Does This Uterus Make My Stomach Look Fat?

Lots of recent posts from ladies unhappy with their tummies. Here’s two pics from another post I commented on. Both me, both same timeframe. One flexed and in the morning, one breathing in and bracing hard for a lift.

My biggest issue is the loose wrinkly skin on my belly. I had three 8+ pound babies in my mid- to late 30s, and I guess by then my skin had lost some of its elasticity. I didn’t get stretch marks, but the skin didn’t exactly bounce back into shape.
As I am turning 54 this summer, my crop top days are probably best left behind me, but I wish I felt more confident in a bikini. I know with a few more pounds on me the wrinkles are less noticeable (on my face as well as my stomach). But barring surgery, I don’t know if there’s any other way of improving their appearance.

Girl - wear the crop top! Be proud of the body you have! Trust me, we are all worrying about how we look to notice how you look 😊5 -

OMG I can’t believe this post is almost five years old!
Still here maintaining. I posted this right after an intentional weight gain of 10 or so pounds (I had dropped waaay too low), and since then I’ve picked up another 10.
And guess what? It’s a win, ladies!
I’m still wearing the same size as I was at my lowest, even 20-23 pounds higher. I’ve worked hard and gained a lot of muscle.
I no longer carry much, if any fat, on legs, thighs or arms. Things are still changing in my body. 😊 New find? My lats are taut and hard, if I put my hands on my hips. I’m actually enjoying doing it a lot lately, hahahaha. Most of the remaining fat is carried as an extra “lifesaver ring” of skin around my waist, but starting a very large loss in 2018, and still in maintenance, it is still ever sooooooo slowly shrinking.
I’m proud to say, I can no longer say I could fingerpaint with my belly hang when planking.
My posture is atrocious, thanks to scoliosis and a traumatic experience watching my “well developed” - how I hate those words- best friend get felt up in sixth grade by a pack of male classmates. When I became well developed myself shortly thereafter, I made a concerted effort to hunch to hide the boobies from the world .
Many of us here complaining about our feminine belly pooch, its posture.
If I stand up straight, it definitely minimizes, can even disappear on a good day.
No way I’m having surgery to get rid of it After a reduction (see above!) nobody’s cutting me again unless it’s life or death.Sadly, there is no cream, lotion, targeted exercise, dry brush or whatever that will reduce our feminine curve. Nothing besides (probably excessive and obsessive) weight loss will obtain it. It breaks my heart to see so many posts here from those obsessed with a flat or concave belly.
That’s what what magazines and tabloids (my generation) and social media (everyone else’s) have wrought .The only thing I’ve found that helps a little are the stomach vacuums one of the guys here recommended years ago. Basically, tighten your abs and press your belly button to your spine and hold while walking. That really does help build a little abs strength, it helps relieve back pain, too, probably because it makes you straighten posture, too.
Lycra and Spandex are your friends. No one has to know what’s underneath.
Embrace and celebrate your curves!5
