...It is kind of like "Clean Eating" it is a generalization. It means something different to each person. It cannot be defined.
If "Clean Eating", like beauty, lies in the eye of the eater or beholder, I think that from now on I'm going to "Eat Beautiful."

Yes! This - @Evelyn_Gorfram - you may have coined a new diet phrase. I've decided to eat beautiful! I'll credit you of course. :)

Reaction #1: I've coined a new diet phrase? Oh, god forbid! :/

Reaction #2: I've coined a new diet phrase? Hey, @mg07030, let's start promoting the "Eat Beautiful" Diet and raking in the money! :)B)

Actually I just read it too and congratulations on distilling that out of these 7 pages of, often, guff :D

I saw your other thread about your success on starting to lower your BMI level. I think with Eating Beautiful you'll go all the way.

    Thanks very much. B)

(Lest anyone think that I have superhuman distillation capabilities, while the name was very much born out of this thread, most of the rest of that post was sourced elsewhere.)

I've actually been inspired: I've changed the name of my MFP blog to "Eating Beautiful," and posted my (tongue-in-cheek) Official List of Rules for "Eating Beautiful".

And it's a beautiful thing! Excellent blog post.

    @paperpusher3

Would these be considered part of Beautiful Eating?

Perhaps we could collaborate? I wrote an eating plan that I think is reasonably compatible with your Eating Beautiful program: It could be a cross-marketing opportunity. I'd offer to share any revenue produced by the synergies between your free program, and my free plan. ;)

Synergies? Oh, boy! All the really good business thingos have synergies! And cross-marketing, too! ;)

The "Ann Plan" is great, and covers several things that got left out(!) of my "Beautiful Eating" post. So, really, all that's left to decide is: "Beautiful Eating and The Ann Plan," or "The Ann Plan and Beautiful Eating"?

    paperpudding eating plan.

eat to round about your calorie allowance

eat a reasonably nutritionally balanced diet

    Include food you like

Do not include foods you do not like.

Hmmm, needs a catchy name or some sort of upgrade before becoming a marketable product :o

The MFP way is a simpler way. A calorie deficit is all you need, and it doesn't matter what type of foods you use in getting there.

You could change your name to ChocolatePudding. Who wouldn't want to get on board the ChocolatePudding plan?

Would you believe, when I first tried to join this forum, way back in 2013 - i tried with the username chocolatepudding

actually I tried with about a dozen variations of names and all of them were disallowed because already in use - in desperation I then started putting together random words - and ended up with paperpudding B)

I generally don't have a problem with Nutmegoreo. Funny that it's not that common.
