ROUND - 52
9/5 = 190.0 Really need to kick this up a notch. Hovering around the 190 mark just isn't cutting it.
9/6 = 189.6 Off to a good start. Will need to be very diligent in order to have a loss on Tuesday.
9/7 = 190.0

My official weekly weigh in, is Tuesday evening @ TOPS, so my ticker tape will reflect that loss.
My daily weight is on my home scale, so I can monitor how my week is going.
My ultimate goal is 175lbs, so any loss is a good loss.

9/05 - 154 - The scale actually flashed at 154.5, then it went to 153.5 three times, so I went with an average. I realized after I posted yesterday that I started this challenge 120 days ago. I've lost 20 pounds since starting this challenge and received a lot of good advice from reading comments. I don't know if I would have stuck with this weight loss without all the support and empathy from this group. Thank you to all!
9/06 - 152.5 - Well, there's a little whoosh!
9/07 - 152.5 - I'm really surprised I didn't have a little bounce back. I'll take it.
9/08 - 153.5 - I had a late and salty dinner last night and then I woke up very early. We also ended up eating at a burger place tonight due to some crazy errands. I've stayed within weight loss calories, but I'm expecting another bump up tomorrow.
9/09 - 152 - We started remodeling our bathroom, so I had to move my scale to a different room. I think I'll keep it there! I'm not sure how accurate this is, but it's OK with me.
9/10 - 153 - This looks a little more realistic based on the salt I ate this weekend. Back to work and back to drinking lots of water.

Hot day coming up here, but beautiful and clear. It will be cold soon enough, so I'm enjoying the sun and heat. I put together a bag of clothes that no longer fit (and a few things that no longer make me happy) and I'll be taking those to a local women's shelter today or tomorrow. All good!
9/06 - 142 - 1136 - 10-day ave 1227
There's the bump I expected yesterday from Monday's splurge. My moving average is 141.2. All good.

I'm excited to see that zero, even with a big decimal! Going to a potluck this evening but we're taking a shrimp plate, so at least I can eat that. Have a great weekend, all!
9/08 - 141 - 1185 - 10-day ave 1218
I made a stab at entering calories from the potluck. Happily, there was plenty of food I could eat (I was afraid I'd get 2 pieces of shrimp and a few baby carrots!). But no, I was quite full by the end. I'm making the most of the weekend as things get crazy this week - teaching a new writing class, taking a new class, integrative doctor & dietitian appointments, on top of usual work (writing). I'm still debating buying a standing desk -- anyone here use one? I may just take my laptop to Office Depot and ask if I can stand there and type for a while to see if I like it.

I see this last pound is going to be tough to lose. That's ok - I'm just as stubborn.

9/05 -- 160.8 slowly coming on down. I don't usually eat after 7 but last night was a super late dinner at 11. I got in 150 min of exercise, which means I was up till 1 30 😥😥😥 and drank 1.5 liters of water. Hope everyone else has a good hump day!!
9/06-- 160.2 worked out for 90 min yesterday, drank 1.5 liters and stayed under my calories. I usually stop eating after 7 (8 the latest) but last night I had a craving for munchies, so ended up having a couple of mini crispys and a mini chocolate bar at 8:30. Buuuuuuut the NSV is I only ate one mini chocolate and stuck to 24 crispys (they are the rice cake kind) where before I would have over indulged on both until there was nothing left.
9/07--160.2 worked out for an hour, drank 1.5 liters and ate under my calories. I think I have officially hit my plateau. This week I haven't been the best with getting breakfast in. I have been so motivated and consumed with exercising that I have missed breakfast and lunch all week and only have been eating dinner. I have tried planning out my meals for the week to stop this but that didn't work out too good. I already know OMAD doesn't work for me and on top of it, after dinner I tend to get the munchies if I don't eat all day. Like the night before I ate some chips and chocolate and last night I ate four turtles after dinner. Of course it was all still in moderation and I didn't go over but I don't like when I get mindless cravings. I have no problem with having a treat here and there but having junk be my go to when I'm still hungry isn't ideal. So this morning after weighing in, I ate. I will see how this goes.
9/08-- 159.6 WHAT WHAT WHAT??? yesterday I caved and ended up eating a crazy amount of chocolate, although I still stayed under my calories, it obviously wasn't the healthiest day. I did exercise, even if it wasn't as much as usual and I walked. I drank 1 liter of water. It is so weird that I usually work out like crazy, eat well and get the majority of my water in but ended up plateauing for a little over a week, then the day I didn't do as well and I ended up pushing under the mark. I am a little sceptical, I will wait to see if this doesn't change by tomorrow before I get too excited. But I am hoping this is it.... me in the 50s 😃😃😃 I am going to watch closely though, third day eating chocolate.... don't want this to turn into a thing
9/09-- 159.4 so I guess I have settled here 😄😄 yesterday was my MILs bday but I made sure to drink water and order the healthier options, a big NSV for me. I used to think going out meant I didn't have to stick to my healthy eating and was a good time for a break but it went great . Ate within my calories, drank 2 liters of water and took extra long walks. So far this weekend has been going great.
9/10 --157.6 woooooosh!! I couldn't believe it, had to check three times and this number kept coming up. 😄😄😄😄 woot!! I am back to the weight I was last January!!! I remember being dissapoined that I had gained so much weight over the holidays (and although I recommited to a weight loss journey, I gave up early and just continued to gain) but I couldn't be more thrilled to see it now!!! This is so emotionally exciting!! Yesterday I went for my first light jog in 10 years and although I didn't expect much from it, I did better then I thought. I completed two sets of 15 minutes (with a minute of fast walking after every five minutes) and although this doesn't seem like a lot to those people who jog daily, this is a big victory for me. It goes to show you really don't know what your body is capable of until you test it and it's limits. I ate great and drank 2 liters of water. Thanks to everyone in this group, with all the supportive (and sometimes competitive) people I not only stuck to it but achieved way more physically then I have in years. Thank you everyone for all your day to day stories, without them I would have felt discouraged with every gain and plateau but with them I haven't felt alone. You guys have really helped me learn a lot!!! Thank you.

I’m 59, female, mostly plant based, and lover of outdoors. This is my second round; the last one really kept me accountable. Thanks to all of you! This round’s goals include staying up-to-date with Bible study, Attitude of Gratitude, only eating at meal times.
R51 SW: 121.6 – EW: 122.4 – Avg weight over 10 days: 122.4

Day/Weight/Change/Comment
9/5/18 – 120.6/-2.2/It was a fun day yesterday with biking and paddling! Rain today, so I got a 3 mile walk in early before it pours. Goal: to continue only eating at meal times.
9/6/18 – 119.4/-1.2/Walked this morning and did water aerobics last night. The rain has finally stopped here and will be biking later on with “the group”! Goal: to continue only eating at meal times & to start an Attitude of Gratitude journal (AOG).
9/7/18 – 118.8/-.6/No exercise this morning but will bike/commute to do errands. Did not sleep well last night but feel okay today. Staying on-plan and eating well! I think staying a bit more active after my last meal helps me not to eat after “the kitchen is closed”!
9/8/18 – 120.2/+ 1.4/Up, but no reason… Going out of town today and will be at the mercy of what is available as I’m not able to take food except for breakfast and a snack bar.
9/9/18 – No weigh-in. Didn’t do well on food yesterday, not looking forward to the results. I think my “out of routine” made me extremely unsatisfied food-wise and I ate way too much including popcorn/chips and other salty things.
9/10/18 – 125/+ 4.8/Up – SALT! Ugh! Even my face is retaining water this morning and it makes me mad! Hopefully lots of water today will flush out my system. I need to be super-conscious this week as I will be babysitting my grandkids for two days this week at their house and will be staying overnight. Will bring my own food for some meals and make what I want the others, but again, the routine will be off. I need to consciously eat and not eat for any other reason! It truly is interesting to see what happens when on or off “plan”! Certainly is an incentive in itself.

9/09: 132.4, looks like a genuine whoosh. What I’ve changed the past 2 days - main meal 3:30pm meal break at work with a light snack after I get home, 9:30 - 10:00pm and more water.

•9/5 - 182.8 - Gee, I thought I had posted this. My son called me for some reassurance concerning my DGD early this morning. He wasn't sure that she would be able to find her classroom. Kindergarten classes are at the very back end of the school. Parents cannot enter the school with the children. First child in elementary school parent jitters. His baby. Not quite 100 ozs of water yesterday, which is MUCH better than the last 4 or 5 days. I have a couple of homegrown cucumbers from a friend. I added some thin slices to my lemon water. 9/5 151.2 What's working:
*Eating what I want, but consciously.
*Letting go of guilt.
*Staying active doing things I like instead of calling it "exercise"
*Focusing on myself instead of what needs to change outside of me
*Logging in here daily
*Realizing we are all the same, just doing the best we can with the tools we have
*Skipping meals- just because it's "lunch time" etc. doesn't mean I have to eat. Listening to my body.
9/6 151 I feel like something has shifted, and this is getting easier. NSV- finally got back out on my mountain bike yesterday for a nice hilly ride, taught my 16 yo son a new recipe that he cooked for dinner for the fam, got my DH out on the bike too. I can't wait to see the 140's and they are within reach!!!
9/7 152.2 Not worried about this I feel great! Another hilly ride, cooking with my son, and walked the dogs! Gearing up for a great weekend, seeing the grandbabies again tomorrow. Have a wonderful day everyone!
9/8 151.4 I had a good day yesterday, FINALLY getting my DH moving with me! It is so much easier when we are both working together, but I have learned to lead by example and not nag, suggest, hint, or ask him to get active/eat better/etc. This is the part about "focusing on myself instead of what needs to change outside of me". When I am taking better care of myself I want everyone around me to also do the same, but I know that everyone has their own limits and timelines and needs to come to their own conclusions. I cannot make someone motivated, but maybe instead inspire them by taking better care of myself. We went on a morning walk, not my usual hilly fast burn since he was with me, but I am happy to pull it back and slow my progress if it means he will come along! I spent the afternoon with my sis helping her prepare for her big annual Tapas party, peeling potatoes for patatas bravas, making albondigas, chopping fruit for sangria...great girl talk and wonderful to cook together since we never do! Today is the party, my plan is to have a protein breakfast then to fast (as difficult as that may be with all the yummy food) I think it is the safest plan to eliminate the stress eating and weight gain that will show up if I do otherwise! Got home from a busy day and my 16yo son was learning to make beef stroganoff with my DH, overall a win win day!
9/9 152.4 My plan to fast gained an "e" and turned into a Feast. There were just too many hours at my sis's (noon-10 pm) and too much amazing Spanish food to stick to the original plan. I had a great day, held my grandbabies for a good long spell and got those baby love feelings going! Didn't drink enough H2O so today my focus is on hydration, going for a walk, and self care. Yesterday took 2 walks before the party, and reached an all time high of over 20k steps, so that is a win! Tomorrow is my weekly weigh in, looking for a drop below last week's 151.8, could be a stretch, but I am eating smart today, so lets make this happen, body of mine!
9/10 WEIGH IN DAY 150.6 Learning so much about my body! Love that I am so close to the 140s!! Planned hilly walk today and mountain bike too with DH. There is this concept I use, the Wheel, where if one spoke of your wheel is not where you want it, your road is bumpy, and you can't have the momentum you seek. My wheel with this increased physical activity is getting much more aligned, and I feel the pull towards my vision of being fit, happy, active and growing!!! Plus NSV DH is finally getting on board with me- makes it so much more fufilling :-)

Round 50 End Weight = 149.9 (1.3 lbs lost)
Round 51 End Weight = 146.2 (3.7 lbs lost)
Stats = 5'4 female, age 48
Highest Weight = 172 lbs (June 18, 2018)
Initial Goal Weight = 139 lbs (last weighed this is 2013)
Ultimate Goal Weight = 129 lbs (last weighed this in 2011)
Round 52 Goal: Reach the "normal" BMI weight range, 144.9 or under
Exercise Plan = The Betty Rocker 90 Day Challenge (in weeks 7-8 of 12), run outside 3-4 times a week, get 8,000-10,000 steps/day
Nutrition Plan = Continue to limit gluten, dairy, sugar, diet soda, alcohol & eat non-processed foods, protein/fruit/veg at every meal, complex carbs at breakfast and post workout meal, drink plenty of water.
9/05 = 146.2 (no change from yesterday) Yesterday was a rest day in my 90 day challenge, much needed too! Today will be day 45 exercises and I had thought to get a short run in but my legs are giving me all the NOPES! So will have to wait another day for that. Only 2 more days left for this forecast-ed horrible heat wave, bring on Fall, I want the cooler weather It makes exercising so much easier and I love running in cool temps. I'm excited for this new round, welcome to the newbies and welcome back to everyone else...."Every day is a new chance to change your life."
9/06 = 145.9 (down .3 from yesterday) Super busy day yesterday and didn't get my workout in until after 8 pm. I had hoped it would've been cooler by then but I was still a super sweaty mess after. This one was a hard workout, but felt so accomplished after completing it. Today is day 46 of 90 (halfway completed!) and is yoga which I love. This morning I noticed that I am feeling lighter in spirits as well as lighter in weight, being overweight had really affected my moods. I'm so happy to be feeling happy again
9/07 - 146.6 (up .5 from yesterday) Annoying, but not discouraging. Just normal, weird scale fluctuations, I'm used to these by now, but I would like to see it going in the other direction Patience. I'll wait for the scale to catch up and continue on kicking *kitten* with my workouts and making healthy choices with my eating. I also track with a weigh trending site and it had my trending weight yesterday a 149.03 and today 148.79, so even when the scale fluctuated up today, my trend is that I am still losing weight. "It does not matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop."
9/08 = 146.6 (no change from yesterday) Super late weigh-in today, great sleep in and there is a chill in the air this morning, such a nice change! I swapped my workout days and took yesterday as a rest day, so I've got a good challenging workout scheduled for today instead. I've been really low on my water intake the last couple of days, which is not normal for me, so need to focus better on that today as well. I'm still hoping even with the scale fluctuations this week, to make my goal of being in the "normal" BMI range within the next few days. I need to drop 1.7 pounds this round to accomplish this, totally do-able! Have a great weekend, everyone!
9/ 09 = 146.2 (down .4 from yesterday) So, the scale has settled back to the number I started this round on. Now hopefully it will start dropping again! I completed day 48 of 90 exercises yesterday and will do day 49 today which will complete week 7. Excited to start week 8 on Monday, I want to get through this!!! 90 days is hard, I will be sticking to 30 day plans from now on I went clothes shopping yesterday to a store I shopped for summer clothes in back in June before I started losing weight. I was a size 10 on bottoms and a size large for tops then and yesterday I was a size 6 for bottoms and a size small for tops. Super happy with this progress! I only bought a couple of things though because I still have a bit more weight to lose and these won't fit for too long hopefully. I also scored a dress, at a discount store, for my 15th wedding anniversary in October, it's a gorgeous Michael Kors black dress, original price $110, marked down to $29 - Bananas! Love it when that happens
9/10 = 145.7 (down .5 from yesterday) Nice downward movement on the scale this morning! Lots of running around doing errands yesterday, but got my day 49 workout in, definitely felt stronger on some of the moves than when I did it earlier in the week (each week there are 2 new workouts that get done twice each that week + a yoga workout, and 2 rest days). I put a batch of chili in the slow cooker in the morning and was glad I did that because errands ran late and I was starving - the urge to say let's just eat out (i.e. something quick and junky) was strong but knowing I had something healthy and delicious ready as soon as we got home, helped me stay on track and eat as planned. However tonight we are going out to a nice dinner, so I'm mostly fasting today and doing OMAD to stay on track with my calories. This usually works fine for me, although higher restaurant sodium may cause a slight blip up on the scale tomorrow. I'm encouraged that I now feel totally comfortable going out to dinner at this stage of my weight loss journey. I'm no longer in the place where I think one meal off plan will derail my progress. "What you do every day matters more than what you do once in a while."

9/05 160 went over on calories yesterday and had a late dinner.
9/06 160 So often I feed the kiddos and get busy with household duties, put them to bed and realize I haven't eaten dinner (and then it's late). We used to all sit down and eat together, but since the new baby it's hard to do sometimes. Going to work on that. I always enjoyed sitting down as a family at dinner time. It'll also help that I'm not eating so late as well.
9/07 159 I was sooo happy to see this number this morning! Yesterday I did great with my water (90 oz/2.66 liters), I have been forgetting to drink it so haven't gotten as much as I should lately. Under on calories, only had half my daily sugar and around 90 carbs.
9/08 159.5 Good day yesterday but ate a little late last night. Today is game day, so there will be finger foods. Hopefully I'll stay in my calorie range.
9/09 159 I did eat finger foods yesterday for the game, but didn't over indulge. Actually was full after what I ate, even though it wasnt very much. 😊
9/10 158.5 😊 stayed under yesterday and was a very low carb/sugar day. I have been aiming to do some type of exercise each day (I don't count housework because I'm constantly doing it with 3 kids, 4 if you count Hubby 😂). Didn't get any exercise in and felt guilty about it, but I know I shouldn't because I have been almost every day.

Hope this shows up right. I shared this on my personal page, wanted to share her for anyone who may be having a hard time. A couple of months ago, before I started here I didn't believe in myself. It does take dedication and a change in mindset, but YOU can do it!! I know you all know this though because you all ROCK! Hope everyone has an amazing day.4

@juliemargaretkim What is “silent disco?”
@denswrex It’s great that your husband has gotten on board. Mine did it a few months ago and I am so proud of him passing up bread at most dinners on the ship. We used to empty the bread basket by ourselves!
An aside - The couple we were with on the cruise consists of a tall thin man and a short round (her description) woman. Every time we are together she tells me he likes her “fluffy” so she doesn’t feel compelled to “diet.” I realized this trip that she ordered 2 or 3 appetizers and 2 entrees almost every night! I don’t know how she manages to eat it all. I did notice the seating arrangement changed after she slid across the bench (she wanted a booth) to get up and was dragging the tablecloth and all of the remaining dishes along. She doesn’t approve of the way I eat (Keto) but I never deprive myself at any meal.3 -

9/10 - 177.2 Yay! Reading the other posts is helping me to adopt a new attitude. There are days when there are changes to my diet. Differences in my calendar. Changes to my exercise routine. However, not being perfect is okay. I can maneuver through these days and still be on a weight loss trend. What is working so well for me? Keeping all healthy choices in my home. Keeping all trigger foods out of my home. Only going off plan when out of town or out on social events. My LIFESTYLE in my home (where I am at 90% of the time since I also work at home) is so completely different than it was a year ago and it shows on the scale, the measuring tape, and in my bloodwork at the doctors. It’s all working. Even with the challenges I often face. I really feel I am turning to a new chapter in my journey. The realizations are liberating. I finally feel free to be the new me in all my successes as well as my blips (let’s not call them failures). A lease is a long term commitment. I truly understand what “a new lease on life” means now. I’ve just signed that contract! YESTERDAY’S STATS: 56 Net Carbs. 1310 Calories In / 2647 Calories Out. 11,017 total steps. 4.71 total miles. 13/13 (250) step hours. 6 hours 26 minutes of sleep which is a lot for me. 9/05 - 145. Hanging steady, and I think I saw the needle nudging toward 144. Made time to be active yesterday and it felt so good! I picked up a midday snack yesterday that turned out to be 780 calories! It was printed right on the bag, but I didn't read it until after I ate. Oops. A light dinner and exercise helped balance the day.
9/06 - 144. Yes! Did a little fist pump when I saw a loss this morning. Today, I'm wearing a pair of pants that I bought during Round 47. I had to add a belt.
9/07 - 143.5. The scale was showing something lower than 144, so I'm calling it 143.5. Had to pick between exercise and sleep yesterday. I almost always prioritize everything else over sleep, but I picked sleep last night and got close to 8 hours. Based on how good I feel today, I'll be trying to prioritize sleep more often.
9/08 - 144. Up early for kid activities and then off to the state fair for the day.
9/09 - 145. Enjoyed an amazing grilled cheese sandwich at a restaurant near the fairgrounds late last night. It was soooo good and it comes with an outstanding tomato dipping soup. We go to that restaurant after the fair each year and I look forward to that sandwich more than I look forward to going to the fair!

Final Goal 190
9/5 - 284 lbs Up and down last challenge. Hit my goal 4 days in then went camping for five days and totally blew it. I cannot stay on this roller coaster and use getting off my routine as an excuse for return to terrible eating habits. Working on that through these challenges. Good stuff to keep me accountable. I almost didn't want to post anything as I am so disappointed for letting myself get so far off track these past few days. Key word here (ALMOST) I will stay accountable and keep working on it.
9/6 -279 (-5lbs) Well here comes the fluid drop. Good start to recovery from last week. Staying away from night snacking. My bad time as is with a lot of us it seems. Drinking lots of fluid today. Hate plain water so I go with Zero everything flavored water. Not bad.
9/7- 278 (-1lbs) Late getting to post today butHeading in the right direction again. Staying strict on my extreme low carb to get that hunger monster back in check. Evening snacking is still a problem for me. Seems to get the munchies every night and have to really work at not going for that snack. I would like to see that problem ease up and go away.
9/8 275 (-3lbs) Ok just one pound away from my challenge go this round. Now to just keep the scale pointed in the right direction instead of up, down, up, down.......
9/9 274 (-1 lbs) Yeah Goal hit! Bittersweet as that was my last round goal which I attained and then broke, but I'll take it and hopefully now will continue to drop before the end of this challenge round. Once again during the next challenge round I will be away camping for four days. This time I am determined to NOT go crazy and off this protein diet. Hope you all are doing well this weekend on your challenge.
9/10 No Scale - Away from the house today. Still very much on track though throughout yesterday. Hopefully tomorrow weigh in will show some good results. Still fighting the evening munchies. Tried some Bar-B-Que Pork sins last night. Not bad! No carbs but does have calories. Good if I'm going to have something.

Plan for the next 10 days:
*write daily food plan the evening before
*drink 64+ oz water daily
*limit alcohol to 2x per week
Goal this round: <184 (I'm thinking some of this starting number is due to just starting back at the gym, so the goal doesn't seem too excessive for 10 days.)
Day/Weight/Comment
9/05 187.5 food is planned for today, almost half way through my water. feeling down on myself this morning due to the high scale number but gotta embrace reality, own it, and change it.
9/06 186.0 still feeling heavy but heading in the right direction. Stuck to my plan yesterday, drank all my water too. 20 min on the elliptical this morning, 1/2 way through my water so far and planning on a date night tonight so eating a very light breakfast and lunch today.
9/07 185.0 I like this number better! sticking to my plan going into the weekend. Weekends are always tough in terms of wanting to "let loose" or "reward myself" but I have to remind myself that I'm not a puppy and I don't need food treats for good behavior. The plan is to be a happier me, and short term "rewards" in the form of food and booze don't help me meet my goals in the long term. I'll be planning to have a couple of cocktails tomorrow night in keeping with my 2 evenings per week goal.

Goal: Be conscious of my snacking in the evenings.
Day/Weight/Comment
9/05--218.4 Did some extra snacking yesterday evening. I think it was because I was feeling tired due to a restless dog during the night before. Now I know that being tired is a trigger to my snacking I will plan for next time. Still showing a downward trend. Yoga tonight.
9/06--218.2 I want to get back into doing C25K tonight. Between the excessive heat and bad air over the last couple of weeks I haven't done any running since July 1st and I really want to do a 5k this fall. So tonight I am going to take the dog out for a little running and walking.
9/07--218.4 Up and down and up again; however, I am weighing in less then my average weight last round. Yesterday evening I went out and did W3D1 of C25K even though I didn't want to, but then I remembered that I had posted here that I would do it. So guilt from internet strangers made me go out for my run...whatever works
9/08--218.2 Did some evening snacking that took me way over my calories...stress from work, but I'm now over that. Was looking over my diary and noticed that I am getting very little fiber and I can feel it. Today is Zumba, plan for some ways to slowly increase fiber in my diet, and make sure I get my water in.
9/09--218.2 Zumba was great yesterday and then I spent way too much time at IKEA. In-laws are coming over today, so we will be going out for lunch so I need to plan. Plan today is (1) go out for W3D2 of C25K this morning, (2) eat a lighter calorie breakfast, (3) drink only water at lunch, (4) take home lunch leftovers, and (5) assuming rain holds up, go for a walk later in the evening. Here I go!
9/10--218.6 I would be ecstatic if this is the only jump after going out for lunch yesterday. I completed most of the plan from yesterday (1) completed, (2) completed, (3) I did have a glass of lemonade at lunch, but drank water the rest of the day, (4) I had no leftovers because instead of ordering a larger meal I ordered a small meal and did not feel stuffed, and (5) did not complete I was exhausted. I also did not eat any of the Mexican cookies that my husband baked. Yesterday was a success! Back in a step competition with my sister-in-law. Zumba tonight.

Daily goals: stay under calories, 80 oz water, no eating past 6:30
Exercise goals: gym twice/ week
9/5 Wednesday, 194.7. -0.4 from yesterday and -1.3 from R51. I will take it after poor choices made over a 4-day weekend to the beach. Yesterday was great. I stayed under my calorie budget and did not eat anything after 6:30. Today's goal is to stay under budget and 30 minutes of cardio at the gym.
9/6 Thursday, 193.5 (-1.2). I think it is mostly water since I drank a lot yesterday and I was really shedding it all day and night. I felt terrible last night and did not work out but I did stay way under calories. Plan is to go tonight while daughter is in ballet. Even if I just walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes, it will be something.
9/7 Friday, 192.5 (-1) Now if I can just keep this up through the weekend. Wins from yesterday-- 30 minutes on the elliptical and passed up brownies that looking diet busting worthy! I am volunteering for 5 hours tomorrow morning/ afternoon to help cast my daughter's school play. So, my plan is to eat a healthy breakfast and to pack some healthy snacks since I know there will be junk food around.
9/8 Saturday, 192.4 (-0.1) I’ll take it. Went out for ice cream with the kids last night and indulged in a small cup. Today was a long day but I stuck to my plan and burned a bunch of calories shampooing carpet in 4 rooms. Hope to hold this weight through the weekend.
9/9 Sunday, 192.8 (+0.4) Up a little but it’s the weekend and I’m still under 193. Practiced some self care today with a 90 minute massage. DH took care of dinner since mom was off today. That means dinner out. Stayed under budget for the day but feel like there was a lot of sodium and expect to be up tomorrow.
9/10 Monday, 192.4 (-.3) Back in the right direction. Need to readjust my goal for this round. I am going to go with a realistic goal of 191.9. That is only half a pound in 5 days and will get me to the 191.x mark which I haven't seen in a while. Need to push the fluids today to get rid of this bloated feeling.

9/05 - Wednesday - 183.0 - Set my goal weight a litte lower than my usual - but I've been hovering here for a while so I feel a whoosh coming my way! Well, this morning was actually a whoosh - this puts me at 29.6 lbs lost! And so close to my short term goal #2! And so close to overweight BMI from obese BMI! I still didnt find my scale last night!!!! It's been a kind of rough morning so far. Exhaustion both mentally and physically is catching up to me. Need to do some self care over the next few days.
9/06 - Thursday - 183.5 - Busy night last night. Worked on the in-law, cleaned drained and refilled hot tub, cooked dinner and slept over there because it was too hot. But I stayed up too late watching movies cause it was like being on vacation. Ooops. Another busy day today - work is stressing me out. Trying to stay mindful and centered despite it all.
9/07 - Friday - 182.5 - WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?! Short term goal #2 HELLO!!! On my way to overwight BMI all the way from obese class 2!!! And it's Friday. I'm going to revel in today's positives and push the negative to the side!!!
9/08 - Saturday - 182.5 - I was in such a mood last night. Let myself get too hungry and it was all downhill fro there. Rallied for friends dinner and the night turned out okay. Moved last things today, final wlak thru at apartment tomorrow. I need a nap. But planning to go to the fair tonight and i might not log...nah I'll log it and move on! Excited to do something fun after all this hard work!
9/09 - Sunday - 183.0 - I logged fair food as best I could. I also didnt go totally nuts eating wise so that was a win. Definitely enjoyed myself though. Went to dog festival today and ate some vegan spring rolls and then a huge sandwich on the way home. So worth it. Cooked dinner at home, pizza grilled cheese and tomato soup. Almost ordered out - gosh it snowballs so fast when I eat comfort foods I just want more! Glad I found something comfort foodish with food I had in the house cause the calories werent bothering me by the end of the weekend the cash was!
9/10 - 184.0 - Really not so bad considering! Have not drank enough water today and have a salty meal planned for dinner - but it is what it is and I'm feeling good. I REALLY need to start drinking my protein shake at some point in the day again and get better with taking my meds and start taking fish oil again. Those little habits make a big difference!

Round five for me. Sorry, I'm starting late but I'm back to work and things got a bit hectic as I was getting back into the routine of getting both myself and daughter ready in the mornings. However, I have been tracking my weight.
My goal for this round to get under 195lbs. Good luck everyone :-)
9/05 198lbs - up 0.5 from the last round ... maybe it's my body getting used to the exercise
9/06 197lbs - on my way down
9/07 194lbs - wow 3lbs down !!!... don't think it will stay ..but I'll take it, for now ...went swimming today. it always makes me see life in a better way.
9/08 194 - surprised I'm still at this number (but secretly very pleased)
9/09 195lbs knew it was going to happen
9/10 197 ..well that didn't last long, but I know that I've not been keeping up with my water... back to it!
