I hate being the first car right behind a middle school bus where awkward 13 yo's stare at me like I'm a prize show pony

This is EXACTLY WHAT IT FEELS LIKE

Trying, but having a hard time relating to the sensitivity and the fragility of emotions of this younger generation. I do not see this with the young people i train regularly......but i see it most everywhere else. Trying to have an open mind and realize that there are differences in generations as the world around us changes.....but damn sometimes im just like, grow the *kitten* up and make something happen instead of trying to find a reason for why its not.

    So true!

I've been searching for a new house closer to my mother for months.
I've looked at 6 or 7, feeling a little bummed that none of them are appealing to me.
Finally the realtor sends me a listing that I really like.
It needs updating, tons of character, a huge yard, loads of built-ins and a decent listing price.
Turns out it's next door to my mother.
That is not going to work, omg!
    Back to looking........

big elaborate funerals. i just don't get it. like i *get* that its more for the grieving, but i've grieved for people too and it never helped me at the time. i just don't think i have the capacity to understand it i guess.

like when i go, i just want someone to wrap me up in a cheap great value brand trash bag from walmart and yeet me into a hole in the ground and be done with it.

Maybe try licking doorknobs in Ebola country? You’ll get your wish
