I am so disappointed with progress. Just four pounds in total, given I have so much to loose and just started I had hoped for a little more in the first week or two. With just one weigh in til the end of the month there is no way I am going to hit target, not good for the motivation.

Don't get too discouraged, 1 - 2 lbs per week is the recommended rate, you're doing really well. Congratulations. Slow but sure gives you time to establish good habits - at least, that's what I tell myself. Also, I tell myself that nothing worth having is easy3 -
