    rough week, went to 4 bbq parties by different family member as last week before school. few send off parties for the newly college bound cousins. the only plus is i didn't gain back weight :)

    Wk 2: 8/6 - 186.2. - Very pleased to see a two pound drop instead of my expected one pound gain of fluid on a Monday.
    Wk 3: 8/13 - 185.6- Forgot to post! Retaining a lot of fluid.
    Wk 4: 8/20 - 184- Finally releasing some fluid!
    Wk 5: 8/27 -182.4 - My buddy fluid retention is still hanging with me though. Smh.

    Weekly check-in

    Stressed and stalled... Busy holiday weekend, eating too much, drinking too much, worrying too much. Gotta pull my head out, get back to the nightly walks and find some balance again. 5k coming up Sunday 9/9 for Alzheimer's. Just doing the best I can, knowing I can do better.

    Trying my best to stay on track. I just finished and handed in my Master’s dissertation. So I have been celebrating (by eating) and also on holiday (lots of eating).

    I haven’t been running either in a month or so. Really need to build the motivation to go out there and do it at least once a week.

    Great work everyone - welcome newbies! Congrats on finishing the dissertation. Nice drops Tia & Nat.

    I'm finally getting back on a downward weight track. Relieved that I'm fitting into jeans and tops that weren't fitting in May and June. Much happier switching over to Fall clothes. Doing well with decluttering, took 3 more boxes of clothes n junk to charity. Sold off my spare car too. I had a great time doing a 5k with friends last Sunday. Still stressing about the new job, waiting for the green light is killing me! Hope to hear soon and hopefully start training next week. Just trying to keep my hands n mind busy, drinking water when I find myself thinking about snacking.

    Wednesday check-in...
    Still waiting for an answer on the new job, stress eating almost out of control but with fresh fruit and veggies carbs/sugar are taking the hit. Florence shut down the HR division...delays delays Argh. I had hoped to be training by now. We have had sunny skies again for a few days - sitting in the garden letting the crisp air clear my head.
