Awesome, your stats and routine, exercise, nutrition? Love to know I'm losing at a decent rate but then self imposed stall, so I'm back at it. Total loss this year for me 20 lbs, working on losing another 15 lbs so far and struggling a little.
Please share 😉3 -
My friend loss 20 in 6 weeks doing boot camp and gym afterwards her meals were very lean and clean to say the least oatmeal , spinach, boiled chicken breast, protein powder drink with water, boiled eggs and vitamin supplements and fat burners and 1 gallon water per day. To extreme for me. No sugars or salt season with natural herbs, no added days. Salads with vinegat.2

Down 21lbs in 52 days.5

Mami, that’s awesome! May I ask how you achieved that milestone? Was it simple calorie tracking and exercising?0

Yes! Calorie tracking and I focused on adding more protein and less sugar into my meals. As for exercise I work out 6-7 days a week and do both cardio and strength training. Oh, and water lots of it!3 -

Yuck..losing weight like that so unappealing to me. I would rather lose 20 lbs over six months but eat what I want but in moderation than that way!19 -
Why all the yelling?

And very unsafe, unless someone is active to the point where they're burning 2600 calories a day, every day.17 -

Was this a medically supervised regimen? It's pretty extreme, and probably not something the average person would want to do.10 -

YES, I USED THE MYFITNESSPAL APP EVERYDAY AND FOLLOWED IT TO THE LETTER IN REGARDS TO WHAT I WAS ALLOWED TO CONSUME WITHIN MY 1000-1200 CALORIES A DAY USING A LOW FODMAP PLAN AND INCLUDED 1-2HRS OF LOW IMPACT INDOOR SEATED RESISTANCE BAND WORKOUTS AND INDOOR RECUMBENT BIKE RIDING 4-5 DAYS A WEEK BURNING 400+750 CALORIES A DAY.8 -

This. It's generally not considered wise/safe/healthy to go that low *unless* supervised by a physician.7 -

I EAT 1000-1200 CALORIES A DAY, EVERY DAY - UNLESS I AM HAVING IBS ISSUES OR RECOVERING FROM AN ATTACK WHICH CAN BE DEBILITATING. THEN I TEND TO EAT A LOT LESS THE DAY OF ATTACK AND THE DAY AFTER DUE TO THE ABDOMINAL PAIN WHEN I AM SICK FROM IBS, I DONT EXERCISE BECAUSE I HAVE NOT CONSUMED ENOUGH FOOD TO EXERCISE. I USUALLY EAT 1000 BURN FROM 400-750 A DAY IF I AM HUNGRY I EAT MORE BECAUSE I KNOW IT IS THERE FOR ME TO CONSUME. BUT IF I FEEL CONTENT, THEN I DONT EAT. I JUST MAKE SURE WHEN I AM HAVING GOOD DAYS WITH MY IBS TO ALWAYS BE SURE TO CONSUME FROM 1000-1200 CALORIES EVERYDAY TO HAVE WHAT I NEED TO EXERCISE AND EAT MORE AS MY BODY NEEDS IT. I NEVER IGNORE MY BODY OR ANY SIGNALS MY BODY GIVES ME.16 -

You may find it funny, but it's annoying to everyone else. And generally considered poor form.21 -
Maybe your eyes are bad because you aren't eating enough?
1000 calories a day isn't enough to get adequate nutrition. You need at least 1200 PLUS what you burn exercising.15 -
OP...So far I’ve lost five pounds in a month. Eating everything I want just portion control. 30 mins of cardio most days, and just a bit of weight training.8

IT IS... I NEED TO FOLLOW THE LOW FODMAP PLAN DUE TO MY MANY DIGESTIVE ISSUES AND INFLAMMATION FROM VARIOUS ARTHRITIC ISSUES AS WELL. I CHOOSE TO STAY AT 1000-1200 CALORIES BECAUSE THE WEIGHT LOSS WILL HELP ALLEVIATE THE PAIN OF MY ARTHRITIC ISSUES. I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS THE PLAN FOR EVERYONE. I TOO WAS DISCOURAGED WHEN I FIRST STARTED THIS, I THOUGHT THERE BE NO VARIETY AND THAT I BE STARVING ALL THE TIME. BUT ODDLY ENOUGH WITH MY CREATIVITY AND MANY HOURS OF MEAL RESEARCHING, I HAVE NOW LEARNED HOW TO EAT ALL THAT I AM ALLOWED, WHICHNI9S ALOT OF OPTIONS BY THE WAY IN A HEALTHY MANNER AND THE PORTIONS ARE VERY LARGE BECAUSE OF MY NEW FOUND LOVE OF VEGGIES AGAIN. I HAVE POSTED PICTURES OF MY MEALS IN MY PROFILE IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE. IN THE END, I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE DO WHAT I DO UNLESS THEY BELIEVE THEY HAVE THE SAME HEALTH ISSUES. I ALWAYS SUGGEST THEY CONSULT THERE DOCTOR FIRST BEFORE DOING THIS. EVERYBODY's BODY TYPE AND SIZE WILL REQUIRE A DIFFERENT CALORIE INTAKE TO MAINTAIN OR LOSE WEIGHT. JOURNEY IS A LIFE A LONG JOURNEY. ONCE IN REACH MY WEIGHT GOAL MY CALORIE INTAKE WILL INCREASE TO MAINTAIN IT ESPECIALLY SINCE I WILL CONTINUE TO EXERCISE EVERY DAY TO HELP KEEP MY LIMBER AND PAIN-FREE.9 -

NO, MY EYES ARE BAD BECAUSE I AM HAVE A STIGMATISM THAT HAS DIMINISHED MY ABILITY TO SEE ANY DETAIL OUT OF MY RIGHT EYE. MY OTHER EYE DOES ALL THE WORK SO I DO WHAT I CAN TO NOT STRAIN IT. THUS THE CAPS LOL. I AM VERY WELL FED AND I EAT LOADS OF HEALTHY FOOD.14 -

YOUR WELCOME ALL PROGRESS IS GOOD PROGRESS AS LONG AS YOU FEEL GOOD, HAVE LOTS OF ENERGY AND ARE HEALTHY AND WELL. THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS. MY LAST CHECK UP WITH MY DOCTOR WAS AMAZING THEY TOLD ME I AM AS HEALTHY AS A HORSE/ I WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY DIGESTIVE AND ARTHRITIC ISSUES, BUT I AM DEDICATED TO THIS LIFELONG JOURNEY TO HEALTH AND WELLNESS ONCE I REACH MY WEIGHT LOSS GOAL. THE ONLY GOAL WILL BE TO MAINTAIN AND STAY HAPPY STRESS-FREE AND FOCUSED.4 -

Some would argue that good progress also includes being able to lose it in a sustainable manner that you can maintain. Anorexics feel good when they eat ~900 calories or less a day, but it doesn't make it healthy. (I'm not calling you anorexic. I'm just saying that how you "feel" doesn't necessarily give any indications as to your actual health status.)
Does your doctor know you are eating so few calories?8
