Mistakes happen. Don’t let it throw you off course. Once we stop seeing foods as good vs bad or healthy vs not healthy and starting see it as calories , macros and nutrients then less mistakes begin to occur10

Mascarpone! Just about 120 Cal per oz (28.35g). Weigh the remainder cake... and you will easily see why!
Oh well. Live and learn. It ain't the end of the world. So you had too many calories today. <shrug> Just go back to your plan as of your next meal, and by next year it will be as if it never happened.21 -

Mascarpoje?5 -
The whole topping of the cake is whipped almond mascarpone cream. Mascarpone is the italian cream cheese that is also often used to make Tiramisu. An incredibly, light, airy, melts in your mouth and disappears as if it has no substance... FULL FAT CREAM CHEESE35

I find more troublesome calling YOUR mom "stupid" than you eating 3/4 of the cake.
Edited to change "our" to "your.98 -
Mascarpone is an Italian cheese from the Lombardy region, made by curdling milk cream with citric acid or acetic acid. It is a thick, double or triple cream, soft cheese with a very high fat content ranging from 60% to 75%.

Or as they say where I'm living... it ain't sugar free refrigerated jello pudding mixed with 0% plain greek yogurt (or 0% sucralose sweetened yoplait)... just saying ;-)11

Ooh, I've had that one before. Worth the calories. But yes to the above. I'm sure the fat content in the cake is quite high. That's why it's so soft and creamy.5

I assume in addition to being all soft and airy it was also sweet? The sugar alone in a cake that size is more than 400 calories.
There are no shortcuts.7 -

Why are you blaming your mother for your decision to eat 3/4 of a cake?88 -
If something's too good to be true, it usually isn't true.
Did you think to yourself as you were eating it "man, 400cals, I can eat 4 cakes every single day and lose 1lbs per week"?15 -

I was going to say, what makes you think the OP cares about how you feel. But then I realized you guys share the same mom.

Well mom DID advertise the cake as "healthy"!!! <-- so all of us together: healthy =/= low calories =/= healthy18 -
Just have an anchovy-apple cider vinegar smoothie and you'll be fine.42

41 g fat and 45 g sugar. And 8x660 is more than 5,000 cals17

Thank you for noticing the error. I will be editing my comment if possible. It should be "your mom," not "our mom.” I am too old to be the OP sister…
And I don't care if the OP cares about how I feel or not. I just consider it to be very disrespectful to call a mother "stupid" for whatever reason, and specially in a public forum. Good night.
