I woke up filled with anxiety today,
    good mood? bad mood?
    how do I feel today?
what do I have to do today?
don’t forget to pay those bills.
    don’t forget babysitting this afternoon.
    why is my stomach aching?

Why do I let my brain do this to me?
Life is good,,,,,, take a breath......

I use to see a nurse type therapist he would take me out to challenge what my head was thinking. I was way worse back then. I couldn't go shopping. I refused to eat out.
I guess he taught me something like if you don't try how will you ever know what could happen. Does this mean i could talk to the opposite sex hell no. I'll grow old alone

I struggle with anxiety. Hard to sleep. Sometimes when people talk with me it’s hard for me to retain the information cause my mind is constantly over thinking and worrying

    Anxiety ?

... maybe only college football games, but that's the fun kind of anxiety.

Sometimes I've thought: "What's the worst thing that could happen?"

Then that thing actually happens, or worse.... then guess what? I've fine & nobody cares one way or the other.

My anxiety is all over the place. One day the dog barking can send me into a panic, the next it can be the TV being to loud. Life triggers my anxiety... it's my niche... I'm the hot mess!

What kinds of things make you anxious? They can be big or small, we’re using the word anxiety to encompass anything and everything that makes you nervous or fearful or uneasy.

Side note: anxiety and associated disorders are not funny. However, we are adults and we poke fun at most everything so let’s not devolve into a serious discussion about how certain posts diminish real anxiety sufferers. We aren’t competing for who suffers the most here, just making conversation.

Eating makes anxious, no matter how much of little calories it contains,

    1. being late.
    2. getting dressed to go out to any kind of an evening out/event. the outfits i try on and take off over and over.
which leads me to being late. which then makes me anxious.
    3. when i actually DO my stupid curly hair (instead of putting it back in a headband all the time)
and it doesn't turn out - well - combine that with the outfits for a night out....
*kitten* - no wonder i'd rather not bother

I get nervous in night clubs. That's why I rarely even go to them...or do I get nervous because I don't go enough? Either way, they're a waste of money.

I’ve never been to one. The idea alone gives me anxiety.

Crowds, especially when lots of people are talking, I feel like I can equally hear all the conversations.
    Sensory overload.
I have to close my eyes to try to get away.
    Right now.

Crowds use to freak me out back when I was heavy... But these days I kinda like being in a crowd, or a sea of people...

But crowded parking lots suck *kitten*... Especially in the bay area

Used to have panic attacks in large crowds when I was younger. The kind where your throat was closing. Learned to really detach from that, to start looking at people as just.. Moving obstacles. My way of coping is apparently not to look at people on the street, headphones in. I'm so used to the crowds now it's like navigating the same field of debris every morning.

Also I suck at remembering people's names when they introduce themselves because I am so focused on shaking hands properly and making eye contact and saying my name clearly, that my mind sorta doesn't even find place to store their names in all that.
