What is your "Petty" Reason to Lose Weight?

Here's some of my reasons: a guy who told me I was too fat to date; wanting to be attractive and fit into clothes.

I want to lose weight because I’m sick of people assuming that because I’m fat, I must also be poor, stupid, dirty, uneducated, unrefined, etc... I was very very thin until I was about 22 and the difference in the way people treat me now vs then is night and day.
Also, my husband bought me a fabulous 2ct solitaire for our anniversary and I’d like to be able to wear it without resizing it! I don’t want my shank thinned out, just my body lol!11 -
I want to improve my sex life, if I'm honest.
I also want to look great, feel better and prove that it can be done. So sick of chubby crabs saying "but hurrrduuurrr, muh genetikz!! Weight loss is impossible!!!", I want to prove it is possible.
Also, at the risk of being blunt, I was sexually assaulted a few months back. Totally felt like I lost autonomy of my body and I want it back pls40 -
Haha I want some "petty" friends. Getting lean for health has never been motivational to me. I want to look good and literally be just a bit stronger and healthier than the average person. I suspect finding a way to be just above average than the masses in many areas of your life is a trick to head in the right direction with your choices and helps avoid common pitfalls ie health diseases and debt. If this resonates with any of you feel free to friend me and we can be petty together.2

My petty reason... there's this girl that i know through a sports league, she is so full of drama and negativity has recently lost enough weight to make people notice her. It makes me so jealous that I've been trying to lose the same 20 pounds for 2 years and she breaks up with her loser boyfriend and just like that drops 20.8

"Well ... there's this girl" jk6

I honestly want to turn heads. I have been turned down before because I was too heavy. So I lost weight then realized I enjoy going to the gym. Now I want to look good in a leather skirt and heels11

I honestly just want to feel pretty.11

because I want to be sweet ,cute and beautiful. it is hard to be fat and sweet the same time.11

I want people to recognize my intelligence. I feel like people equate fatness with a mental inability. I can be ditzy, but I know I'm not as dumb as people make me feel. If I were skinnier, maybe they would unconsciously find me more intelligent. Who knows maybe I am just dumb. I also want to feel what it feels like to be light. To not have tight pants. To not hit objects while I walk. I don't want attention, I want recognition.29

My petty reason to hit my goal weight is -
I want to get a whole bunch of tattoos when I hit goal, maybe a whole body suit, and look really super sexy badass.9 -
I want 2B the hot & fit Great-Grandmother in my gym and grow up to be a personal trainer for my generation.16

Honestly, I want to look down and see my genitals, not my stomach.20

My petty reason is to look better than my ex-friend. She turned on me during the hardest period of my life and somehow seeing pictures of her over the years gaining weight while I lose it makes me feel just a little bit of guilty satisfaction. Ugh.23

REVENGE BODY!!! 😂♥️12

I'm vain. I want to turn heads, in clothes that I wish I could look good in...10

A few years ago, when I was much skinnier, I was constantly approached by guys and I, honestly, enjoyed all the attention.
Although this really does sound super petty, I just want that attention back and want to feel like people are looking at me because they're admiring how I look and not judging how overweight I am.7 -
I’m a tall female and plan on achieving the body of a VS angel. I have the genetic material so I really want to know what the hype is about.. Ughh that sounds vain but it is what it is.

A slap in the face to those who avoided me because I was overweight or tried to sue it to bring me down. You won't get to enjoy the thinner, fitter me.6

To show my ex husband what he can’t have so to speak. I was in an abusive controlling relationship where my ex husband did everything to keep me fat after having our baby. He said it made him insecure when other guys looked at me. He would make sure there was junk food around all the time, throw a fit if I tried to go to the gym, and I even caught him putting sugar in my food before. So this is my way of taking back control over my body and letting him see he can’t control me anymore.29

my ex-boyfriend will be back in the city over the holidays and we’ll have to be at a lot of the same get-togethers. I want him to see that I’m not just doing ok without him, i’m doing GREAT without him! (even though he’s super nice and there’s no bad blood between us, but still...lol)14

Ahh, He s an ex forget about him and stay away. Get a new boyfriend and look your best for him. Press on and leave the past behind you.8

I hadn't worried about my weight in a long time, even though I knew I'd gained 10-15lbs. Some of my clothes don't fit (but I'm a leggings girl anyway...) but I recently started dating one of those guys that goes to the gym regularly and has the most amazing arms....so, yeah, just vanity. 😂 Wanting to look super cute for him. Yikes. Petty, petty.9
