Pushing this stroller down the street solo, everyone is going to think my wife's at work 🙄😂...
But it's the only way to keep her calm... It feels so strange taking even just a few weeks off....2 -

Your hair always looks super pretty...maybe go deep brunette solid colour?
Or do a balayage, that's my 'go-to' for the past few years and I love it1 -

All too true... You're always thought provoking.
We decide how life should be in order for us to be okay and do mental gymnastics, fighting life to make it that way. Which in turn leads to struggle and suffering.
But who's to say things aren't okay just as they are.
Or so says the Untethered Soul, great read, or listen rather... Lol4 -

I believe most struggle and suffering come from attachments. To people, places, things, negative thought patterns and especially to the 'ego self' When I'm feeling overwhelmed or anxious I remind myself that I have a body but I am not my body and that I have thoughts but I am not my thoughts. In this way I can calmly separate myself from what I think "should be" and accept what is. From this place it is much easier to direct my focus and come up with solutions and ways to steer my life in the direction that I want it to go in, all while being aware of the fact that I am not always the only factor in determining a particular outcome. My mantra has always been to remain open to all possibilities while unattached to any particular outcome.16 -

Awesome post!
The author talks a lot in this book about exactly this... How we can not be our thoughts because we are the one who hears them. It's also noted that our thoughts largely change with perception. One minute you can think one way, then left brain convinces you otherwise and back and forth.
We are constantly in a should I, or shouldn't I stage with left fighting right...
They've actually done studies on people and have shown that left and right brain have vastly different plans for the future... So if this is the case, who in the hell are we 🤷🏽♂️😂...
I'm not there yet when I can remind myself that thoughts are just thoughts honestly... I drown in them sometimes lol...
I try to remind myself that everything is exactly as it was meant to be, things were just not meant to be any different... This helps me to accept things as there are in this moment because what other choice do I have.7 -
I can’t attract a man to save my life 😔4
