Cold weather is making me hungrier - I'm sure I have company in that, yes? I'm not craving junk, just more good stuff. I see a big bowl of vegetable soup in my future....
11/15 - 133 - 1303 - 10-day ave 1254
Freezing rain all morning, so I've been catching up on laundry and cleaning, moving some furniture and books around, and other stuff. And a friend's DH fell off a step stool while changing a light bulb and broke his back in 3 places - yikes! They're gluing it back together this afternoon, so her beautiful Springer Spaniel, Star, is hanging out at our house. She's lying I my lap as I write this.

Whoa! That would have knocked my socks off if I'd had any on when I weighed in this morning! I did have a very low cal day yesterday, not really by planning, but I was satisfied and just decided to go with it. I can't believe I'm a pound and a half away from my "I'll probably never reach it but wouldn't it be great" goal. It will be 4 years in Feb. since I started this journey for real (after years of "trying" to lose weight and ending up heavier in the long run). Keep at it, folks!

Day/Weight/Comment
11/14 - 185.4 - Busy day. Did pretty well on food intake. Lifted early in the morning to make up for Monday's lift that I missed and then played over 2 hours of full court basketball last night. Over 22,000 steps total on the day. We will see if I can continue to decrease from this weight over the next 10 days.
11/15 - 185.2 - Had a pretty good day. Solid calorie deficit and got a good lift in last night. A little worried that I possibly have an inguinal hernia. Getting it checked out on Monday. Hoping that isn't it because I have made pretty good progress in the weight room and really don't want to give that progress back and have to build back up if I have to have surgery. But it is what it is. Either way, I will keep working toward my goal.
11/16 - 185.4 - Had a nice deficit yesterday and actually showed self control at a Mexican restaurant, which is tough for me. Went to go workout, but was having some pain in my lower abdomen area near that possible hernia, so I cut off the workout. Hoping to have a good day today, last day of work for me for 9 days!

11/15 147.6 Well worth this bump, had an unexpected great day with my oldest daughter, shopping and catching up and just overall amazing. She is moving to New Zealand for a year after Christmas, so these days are extra cherished! We are both usually so busy with life that we don't get to do that as much as when she was younger. The day started off with our FAVORITE english muffin, which despite many trials I have not been able to recreate at home. Any bakers out htere have a recipe?? (the egg pudding wasn't too shabby either!)
11/16 149.4 Yikes full disclosure, ate off the rails yesterday...red wine, homemade scones, yummy potatoes, sourdough with butter, filet...Human not perfect, and that's ok. Prelogging today and made the triple threat water, confident I will drop this as quickly as I put it on thanks to this challenge and what weighing daily has taught me. It's just important to catch it quick so that it doesn't end up a full week/month/year of mindless eating. NSV I did some lower body/glute exercises and have committed to continuing to see if I can reconfigure the bod. I know it's slow going work, but I also know it's the next step for me now that my weight is very close to maintenance.

Please join us! Starting on 11/14 JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 59
Anyone can join us at anytime during the round.
Join us! If we stay mindful we can do this, you can do this.
Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!
Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.
FOR NEWBIES - I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all of the posts.

11/14 143.9 ~ (Steps 22,368) ~ Well yesterday started out fantastic only ending going to the ER last night. I decide to buy, cucumbers, grapefruit, limes, lemons to make a refreshing water drink. While I was slicing the veggies, my hand slipped, two of my fingers, the top layer hit the blade. I’m thankful it could of definitely been worse. Unfortunately it was my left hand so my activity is limited for a couple weeks.
11/15 144.5 ~ (Steps 19,649) ~ I don’t understand the gain, . I did everything right. 😈😫😭
11/16 142.8 ~ (Steps 20,800) ~ Yesterday was extremely hard not to snack throughout the day but I ended up taking a walk instead. It helped actually.

11/14—217—Nothing making a ton of sense right now, weight-wise, but as long as it's just bouncing around in this range, it's all good. Still working on the 100 pushups challenge but had to restart week 2. I'm definitely getting better at pushups!
11/15—DNW—I was rushing to get out the door to get to the airport to catch a flight. Well, I didn't have to hurry! The plane is still sitting on the tarmac. I'm not in it, though. I was heading out of town for a conference but we sat and sat then came back to the gate and sat, then they were reboarding and I realized I wasn't going to make my session! So I came home instead.
11/16—217.2—Yoinks. Well, I can't claim I had a perfect eating day yesterday. Too much salt and too little hydration. Onward!

@kmfeig87 I found your post both insightful (fluctuations) and inspiring. It is so inspiring when someone else notices!
At the potluck last night two people commented on my weight loss. I find this especially encouraging because of my back issues. I am short and because of my back surgery 36 years ago, my back profile has gone from ( to | and when I get tired I have to really think hard to stand straight or I am \. To stand with my back straight requires bending my knees slightly.
@cdavisdeva Thank you! I FEEL wonderful, too!
@deepwoodslady We used to stay at a little lodge in Colorado. We aren’t hunters and we’re quite disturbed to come out of our cabin and discover elk hanging from every tree! Hunters were sitting outside their cabins hacking up and packing into huge coolers those (formerly) beautiful animals. It made us all sad.
@aosborne0605 Watch the video I have listed “Recommended for the ladies.” Making the right choices is awesome and leads to positive outcome BUT it may not be immediate. Hormones vary DAILY and that’s why daily weigh ins are so important. You can see how your own body works.
@bisonpitcher I don’t know that waiting until Monday is a good thing. Just sayin’2
