WTF??? I'm middle aged??? *Sigh*.. I guess it had to happen.
I'm turning 37 soon. I was over 200 lbs at my heaviest, on and off dieting got me down to 173, still have about 33 to go.2 -
Been that way here also, been busy but always feel better after a workout... have next week off for Thanksgiving and plan on getting back into it, no excuses - just solutions 👍🏻LovePositivity wrote: »Been really slacking on my workouts lately. I’ve managed one workout per week for the last three weeks. My job is really active though with stairs as going up and down them. I average 10-11 floors per day. So I guess I’m still doing something right?
Hoping to add a weight workout in tomorrow morning and Friday as well.

Hi, looking for more people to add for inspiration. I'm 35 and 170 lbs. I'd like to get down to 145, but when I come home from work, all I want to do is eat a meal and sleep. I'm still trying to make small changes.3

Well my exercise today was a 6km slow walk as we marched in our city's Santa claus parade. So many people were lining the streets. My legs are a bit tired because I skipped for half of it to keep warm2

Good morning peeps.
Have a great start to the week!

Good morning! Have a good Monday. I hope you meet the goals you may have this week.1

8.01 miles in 1:03. 7:50 pace, 1039 calories burned on an empty stomach... DD has $2.00 cappuccinos all day all this week....1

37 and I'm in the middle age group...oh the pain!1

49 in the middle of the middle group. I still feel young. Coming off three injuries and getting back into the grind of working out and eating to my calorie goal to lose. Always could use some friends.2

Happy Monday my middle aged buddies.
Know what's awesome when you help out a friend by filling in for him on his curling team and the boss of the team gives partial credit for the win to you. Also helps to play a great game. Yay for Mondays1 -
Have a good Tuesday peeps.
Stay warm!

First week in MFP and Thanksgiving is 2 days away. Anyone have any strategies you use to keep on track or do you enjoy the day as a once in a while indulgence?2

Hi all.
Im an on/off MFP user and forum lurker. Have been for about 3 years or so. Long story short I've been piling on the pounds for years. I love bread, pastry cheese and beer and am pretty sedentary.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to "have another crack" at losing some weight.
If you want to share the journey, feel free to add me as a friend.
My goal weight wise would be to get around the 14st mark, however id be happy with any weight that I could be more active at. I used to love hill walking and mountaineering, but just haven't go the fitness to do much at the minute.
My current tactic is to set a 1500 calorie daily goal. Meal replacement shakes for breakfast and lunch along with some fruit. Healthy evening meal. No beer throughout the week and although the weekends are more relaxed, still aim to fall inside of my calorie goal.
Exercise currently consist of a nightly walk (march) round the park, but I hope to upgrade this to running as time goes on and then incorporate some kettle bell workouts in the mornings when I finally am able to prise myself out of bed. Ive lost 6lb in the first week using this.
Look forward to hearing from you.2 -

Hey you old timers
I've been out of commission the last 3 weeks or so fighting bronchitis made worse by asthma. Missed you all. But as JR said in the Dallas reboot, "I'm back. And I'm gonna be bigger than ever".
OK, let's try "I'm back, and I'm gonna be smaller than ever". Sadly I did gain my weight back so I'm starting out from scratch. Good news is I did lose it once so I know how do lose it again. Won't be as difficult to get back to pre-sickness levels.
Happy Thanksgiving!!4 -
