Need to get under 155! Didn’t do so well least round with my 4 day vacation, but it was well worth it.

11/13 - 157.0 Was under calories yesterday, drank lots of water, and did all my steps. I knew most of it would come off, but I've never dropped that much overnight. Hopefully the rest will be off by Thursday and I can start again. Lol, so my overall for this round 58 - up 2 pounds. On to the next one, hopefully I will get under 155!
11/14 - 155.5 Yeah! It mostly was salt and carbs from vacation. Back down to my pre-vacation weight, I am actually down an ounce from the day I left on vacation. Back on track. Had sweet potato fries baked in the oven, baked chicken, and a little bit of mac and cheese last night for dinner. Drank tons of water and back tracking. Hopefully by Friday I will make my goal of 154 this week.
11/15 - 154.5 So I finally got below 155. I tried doing this the whole last round and never could get there. I'm sure going on vacation for 4 days didn't help, but I am there now. My salads with grilled chicken that I made Sunday night have really helped with my lunches this week. Hubby got his truck back from the shop finally last night, so that is one stress less that I have to worry about (or listen to him gripe about, lol). So far this week is a good week. I will probably hover here for a couple of days now. Always looking for that new lowest number.
11/16 - 155.5 Uuuugghhh! Back to my bodies new favorite number. I probably sabotaged myself and hopefully will be back down tomorrow, but am really starting to hate the number 155. My youngest is in the 4th grade and she had 3 tests that we had to help her study for last night. Before I knew it, it is was almost 7 and I hadn’t even started dinner. So we ordered pizza and the most amazing monkey bread ever. Lol, I have been so good with sweets, but I caved last night and had a couple of pieces along with my 2 pieces of pizza and a glass of wine. So yeah, I deserve that pound. Now to get through the weekend! Have to do all the Thanksgiving shopping and get my house ready for all the company we have coming. So should be nice and busy!
11/17 - 153.6 and I’m down. Did really well all week. Yesterday did my planned lunch and then came home and made dinner even though the hubby offered to send one of the kids to get something. Now to meet my mom and get thanksgiving shopping done. Hopefully I can make good choices today. I would love to be at 153 or even 152 before Thursday!
11/18 - 155.5 and I’m back to this number. So over seeing this on the scale. It’s 163 all over for me. That number haunted me for almost 6 weeks. I hope this doesn’t happen again. I guess we will see what happens.
11/19 - 155.3 again, did well yesterday. Have no idea why it didn't go down. Nothing really to say. Not going to get frustrated. For just coming off a weekend, I guess this isn't to bad.

11/14 147.5 woohoo think I'm finally getting away from the Halloween candy binge . Good luck this round everyone!
11/15 147.5 Got into the cereal yesterday and had taco bake for dinner so my carbs were a little more than I would have liked, and no exercise. I plan to get a good workout in today .
11/16 147.5 Forgot to post
11/17 147.5 Yesterday was an ok day, stayed under but I did splurge on a chocolate frosty and fries from Wendy's. Still under on all my macros. Today's focus is going to be eating light and lots of water because I am feeling really thirsty.
11/18 147 not sure if this number will stay for tomorrow but I like it . Our first Thanksgiving dinner of the season is today.
11/19 147 What?? Was totally surprised to see this today. When I first stepped on the scale it said 146 and I weighed like 3 more times. I ate so much yesterday. I had 1 plate of food (full plate) and 2 desserts. I felt so full but I think it was mainly because I ate foods I have been avoiding for a while like macaroni and cheese. Wednesday will be the next Thanksgiving meal and then of course Thursday. A little nervous of the outcome.

@jenn990205 I know it seems frustrating to "only" see a .2# loss but if you were to lose that amount every day for an entire year, you'd weigh 73 pounds less! You don't need to lose anywhere near that so take heart. In a month at the same speed, you'll be 6 pounds less. You'll get there. Try not to be so hard on yourself.8

Purposely committing now as this is a rough/tough time of year to stay strong! Accountability is so important!
Starting weight: 121.8
Day/Weight/Comment
11/14 - 121.0
11/15 - 122.6 / Not how I wanted it to go, but expected. How I ate yesterday directly shows how I eat when I don’t sleep well the night before. On the bright side, I slept well last night! Plan is to not eat unless I’m truly “hungry” and then stop when I’m not!
11/16 – 123.8 / I’m taking ownership of this ☹ Not the way I wanted it to go but I know a lot of it is probably water retention. It’s a mind game for me. Recommitting.
11/17 – 123.8
11/18 – 121.1 / Love how eating right gets results.
11/19 – 121.1 / Great visit with doc today – she’s an amazing woman who is an inspiration to me.

36y/ 173cm or 5'8"
OSW: 74kg May 2018 (163lbs)
UGW: updated 67-63kg (148-139lbs)
Goals for this round: get body and food scales, find a gym,
- go for 3 runs - 2/3 done
- do my bodyweight routine 5x - 2/5
11/15 no scale
I think i'll switch to posting in the evenings since that is when I'm less busy and at home. So yesterday, I have no idea where i ended with my calories, went for Korean BBQ dinner with some new people.
Today started well with a short run, in the morning when it is much cooler than in the eve, then I also completed my exercise routine. I took my breakfast to the office, but still ended up super hungry most of the day - maybe because my body expected winter to come and is really confused by the heat. I cooked a healthy dinner, but then had some chocolate and popcorn... oops. But turned out necessary energy to scare off a massive cockroach and kill a medium sized spider.
11/16 no scale
oh what did I do today... First I overslept, so no exercise, then I bought Turkish for lunch, it'll last me for tomorrow also, but quite heavy. Dinner was alright, the second half of yesterday's healthy dinner. But, because I had to walk to the shops to buy water (still no car), i bought snacks and ate way over. I'm an idiot or maybe i'm starting to miss home and this is emotional eating?
Either way, it needs to stop. On the plus side, due to some hick ups with the flat, I ended up walking a bit more and managed my 10k steps.
I looked at my macros and always have the wrong split, even a few months back. With so much estimated food, it'll be difficult to fix, but i'll have to eat more protein.
11/17 no scale
The day started well, went for a slightly longer run than last time, 2.3km, followed by a ca 2km walk to get back home, then also did my body weight exercises. I had this dog follow me the whole round, no idea where he came from or if he found back home, i just had to abandon him at my gate, he was gone when i later left for work.
Fridays we only work half days, which is great. I got a car for the weekend and went to a bigger shopping mall and now have a yoga mat! Unfortunately, I didn't bring enough money to also buy scale, but at least I know where to get it over the weekend.
I also checked out a hotel gym nearby, they have treadmills in case I don't manage run in the morning, I can go there now.
Foodwise, I derailed terribly. I really need scales to keep me in check and be more confident with what i'm logging. I've decided against going out tonight but will have a glass of wine.
I'm also missing my husband (and cats) a lot. He's had a few bad days, so that doesn't make me feel bad for not being there in person. We discussed and knew this was gonna happen, but that doesn't make it better. I also feel like I should start writing a physical diary, then my entries may get a bit shorter...
11/18 no scale
Food wise not bad, but will go over cals this eve, going out for drinks. I just have to accept that this will be part of finding friends and socialising. Seems to be a big part of weekend activities here.
11/19 Last night was good fun, didn'd go crazy with the drinks. Also had a good day today, healthy breakfast and lunch, leftover pasta for dinner and fit in a chocolate bar.
Did some yoga and went for a walk on an otherwise relaxing day.
Found a food scale, but haven't bought it yet as it was a bit pricey, not found a body scale yet, but that's my mission for Fri so I can weigh again next round.
Planned for tomorrow morning: another run, hopefully I can make it longer again.
11/20 I changed my goals on MFP the other day to aiming to lose 0.25kg/week and reduced exercise minutes. This gives me more cals and adjusts for my more sedentary days here. However, today started well with some yoga again. First I felt bad because again I stayed in bed instead of going for a run. But 5am is just too early.
Foodwise, the day was alright. I now wish I had a scale, mainly for pweanut butter, avocados and pasta, I'll decide on Friday, a body scale is more important to stay focused.
Good end to the day: went to the gym and ran on the treadmill. I was dreading it as I prefer running outside, but it was surprisingly good - podcast helped!
Have a good week all.9 -

Basically wasted the last round by fluctuating up and down instead of focusing on a proper downwards tread. Will stay focused this time. I HAVE to reach the 170s this time. I am determined. No more dilly-dallying.
Day/Weight/Comment
11/14- 182.9- I think this loss would have been even more if it weren't for the birthday cake I had yesterday for my dad's birthday lol. But I did well overall. I'm not mad. And will do better today. Following the plan exactly tonight because there are no birthdays lol.
11/15- 182.6- I did really well last night. Now I just need to do that again tonight. I didn't have time this morning to pack anything except for a small sandwich until dinner but I have everything planned for dinner so it should be fine as long as I stick to it which I plan to. Don't want to go backwards again.
11/16- 183.6- Definitely a fluctuation because I had pasta last night even though it was under my calories. Heavy carbs like white pastas and rice always make me fluctuate. Not worried about it though since I was at deficit. Will probably go down tomorrow.
11/17- 183.5
11/18-184.0
11/19-184.0- been basically maintaining for a couple of days which is fine considering it was the weekend and I used to gain during the weekend but this week I'm getting a loss in for sure. Had a workout today and controlling my eating. Doing everything as planned.

Day/Weight/Comment
11/14 - 185.4 - Busy day. Did pretty well on food intake. Lifted early in the morning to make up for Monday's lift that I missed and then played over 2 hours of full court basketball last night. Over 22,000 steps total on the day. We will see if I can continue to decrease from this weight over the next 10 days.
11/15 - 185.2 - Had a pretty good day. Solid calorie deficit and got a good lift in last night. A little worried that I possibly have an inguinal hernia. Getting it checked out on Monday. Hoping that isn't it because I have made pretty good progress in the weight room and really don't want to give that progress back and have to build back up if I have to have surgery. But it is what it is. Either way, I will keep working toward my goal.
11/16 - 185.4 - Had a nice deficit yesterday and actually showed self control at a Mexican restaurant, which is tough for me. Went to go workout, but was having some pain in my lower abdomen area near that possible hernia, so I cut off the workout. Hoping to have a good day today, last day of work for me for 9 days!
11/17 - 184.8 - Had a solid food deficit day and a good sleep last night. Got a light lift in. Not gonna go heavy until I see the doctor on Monday. Hope to continue the trend downward.
11/18 - 185.4 - Weighed but forgot to post
11/19 - 184.2 - Had a good day yesterday with calories and protein. Had dentist and doctor today so was out of the house and ate out for all 3 meals on the run (poor choices too, so I expect a weight jump tomorrow). Will try to get a workout in tonight.

11/14 143.9 ~ (Steps 22,368) ~ Well yesterday started out fantastic only ending going to the ER last night. I decide to buy, cucumbers, grapefruit, limes, lemons to make a refreshing water drink. While I was slicing the veggies, my hand slipped, two of my fingers, the top layer hit the blade. I’m thankful it could of definitely been worse. Unfortunately it was my left hand so my activity is limited for a couple weeks.

CW: 128.8 this a.m. (was 129.7 last week the last time I posted in round 58 I think! -- so...progress....)
GW: I'd like to get back to the 120 range -- even 118! -- so -10 lbs. goal
It's those LAST TEN POUNDS! I was able to get down to 125 again a few weeks ago, then life took over -- birthday, traveling, etc. -- but it even those 4 pounds different felt GREAT! The feeling I get in my body when I lose is so MOTIVATING -- I love feeling thin and healthy. So, I keep trying. Good luck this round everyone!
11/15 - 128.8
11/16 - 128.8
Thanks for the shout-out @abowersgirl -- it IS exciting to be within 10 pounds of my ultimate goal. I'm still living my life though -- so it remains a goal! lol! This challenge helps a lot -- and as I always say, I LOVE reading everyone's posts and suggestions and just day to day stuff. We've all got stuff. <smile>
11/17 - 128.6 I'll TAKE it! At this time of year, any loss is encouraging. Last night I really wanted ice cream around 10 p.m., but I didn't do it! I thought I'd rather wake up and see a loss, so I will take it!!
11/18 -- didn't even weigh in! Cleaning the house and fixing the guest room...

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

11/14 132.0 (Art Quilts, etc potluck) I need to drink LOTS of water!
11/15 131.5 (Community Thanksgiving potluck)
11/16 131.5. I survived potluck #2. Dinner and play this evening
11/17 131.5 What a beautiful evening it was! The sunset featured rainbows in the clouds. Salad, steak, and fresh green beans with garlic at Ellis Island Casino before going to see “The Andrews Brothers” at the Super Summer Studio. I need to drink more water!!
11/18 131.5 Still not drinking enough water. Didn’t go to bed until 2AM this morning and up before 6. Today is Carl’s 70th birthday. He does not like to celebrate but DD#2 and family are taking us to “lun-ner.” I think I’m going back to bed now. *Slept another hour and a half!*
11/19 131.0. WOW! Didn’t wake up until just after 8AM! BBQ for Carl’s birthday yesterday. I was stuffed but wanted to eat more because it tasted so good. I didn’t but I wanted to! DD #2 came over this morning and gave us both haircuts. She does such an amazing job! I’m late posting and haven’t read beyond page 14. Lots of catching up to do in the morning.11 -

This is my sixth round. I am starting not to freak out as much over the daily fluctuations. Went up a little bit at the end of last round, so 2.5 isn't too unreasonable. On the other hand, I've been pushing a 1000 calorie deficit for 2.5 weeks now and I think I'm going to have a slightly smaller deficit this round.

11/14 166.5 -- Phew. I was super hungry and craving sweets and honestly everything yesterday. Kept trying to have a healthy filling something and it was all subtraction stew. Jogged in place at 10 pm to finish my steps and cover my extra snacking, so still had a big deficit. Glad to see that my indulgence in a scone did not move the scale the wrong way!!
11/15 166 -- Nice to see. Interesting observation: I am doing a monthly support group with a weekly weigh in. In that group I had a 3 lb loss last week, despite only a 1 lb loss in Round 57. Then this week, having finished round 58 with a 3 pound loss, I posted a .5 pound gain. Puts things in perspective about daily fluctuations! On another note NSV--three people at the gym yesterday independently commented on how good I looked and the weight I had lost. I've lost 33 lbs since June. I don't think the first 20 were so noticeable, but now there is a difference!
11/16 165.5 -- Hungry again yesterday. Somehow the low carb hamburger casserole that I made tasted good but felt more like subtraction stew. Don't think I will make that again! Combatted the hunger by going to zumba! So I guess that was a win!
11/17 164.5 -- What a nice surprise! Hopefully it's not just that I didn't drink enough water yesterday. Forgot to drink during the day, so guzzled before bed! Had a lovely breakfast with my husband and youngest this morning. Bacon & spinach & cheese omelet. After being hungry for 3 days, I was full after half the omelet and two slices of bacon, so I saved the rest for later. Have a great weekend everyone!
11/18 163.5 Whoosh! Clearly I should take a rest day and sit around more often!
11/19 166 Celebrated my husbands birthday. So I stood around all afternoon making cake, instead of exercising. And then I ate the cake. Only half a piece....only 200 over calories (which is still less than maintenance) but clearly carby. Hopefully it goes away as quickly as it came!11 -

I derailed myself last year undoing a lot of good work. After a long absence from myfitnesspal I am back on track. This 10 day challenge seems like something I can do. I joined with Round 57. This is my 3rd consecutive round. The less said about round 58 the better.
Age: 59
Sex: M
Height: 5ft 10 1/2"
HW: 313 lbs (reached twice, sad to say)
Pre-challenge SW: 313 lbs (started back at myfitnesspal Oct 1st. Down 15 lbs in the 3 weeks prior to round 57)
SW for the round 57 challenge: 298 lbs (I have a photo to prove it, I'll take a new one at the start of every week)
GW sometime in 2020: 195 lbs (several beautiful Italian double-breasted suits await me)
Round 59
SW for this round: 297 lbs (annoyingly up 2 lbs over the last challenge)
GW for this round: 293 lbs (drop 4 lbs)
Day 01. 11/14 297 lbs
Day 02. 11/15 296.5 lbs. I'll take every small win after the last round.
Day 03. 11/16 296.5 lbs. We had dinner out last night after taking family Xmas photos. I knew as I ate the delicious Teriyaki chicken and noodles that there was too much salt for me and too many carbs. I would have been helped by eating a couple of Turkey rollups before we left the house. Or having a high-protein shake (i.e. Premier which provides 30g of protein). Then I might have sensibly passed on the noodles and picked a more appropriate (for me) main dish.
Day 04. 11/17 296 lbs. Moving slowly in the right direction.
Day 05. 11/18 295.5 lbs. Still moving they way I want it to go.
Day 06. 11/19 295 lbs. Good. I'll take 1/2 lb a day as long as I can get it.
Down 2 lb so far this 10 day challenge.
Down 3 lbs so far on challenges (I plan on doing more of them).
Down 18 lbs total since I came back to myfitnesspal.
100 lbs to go to where I want to be: 195 lbs, the weight at which I got married11 -

Age - 50
Height 167 cm
SW: 68.1
Result of Rounds 56+57+58 = - 5.2 kg (-11.5 lbs.).
End of ROUND 58: 63.5 kg (139.9 lbs.)
GW for Round 59: 62 kg (136.7 lbs.)
Day/Weight/Comment
11/14 - 63.1 kg (139.1 lbs.). 7 km run in the morning. Has to do more today as we have a “special” heavy-loaded dinner tonight. Plan a 3 km walk during the lunch break and “six-pack in 6 weeks” before dinner. I wish success to everyone in this round.
11/15 - 63.0 kg (138.9 lbs.). Yesterday mission is completed. Did all my activities and the dinner (1,654 kcal) didn’t affect my weight at all. There is even 100g loss.
11/16 - 62.8 kg (138.5 lbs.). 7 km run in the morning. My body fat % now is below 20% (19.9%); for my age the lowest limit is 17.1%. Only short way to go!
11/17 - 62.6 kg (138.0 lbs.).
11/18 - 62.5 kg (137.8 lbs.). Did my run and walk (13km) yesterday and “six-pack in 6 weeks” today in the morning. Now going to thermal bath for swimming and sauna.
11/19 - 62.0 kg (136.7 lbs.). Not bad!
11/20 - 62.7 kg (138.2 lbs.). I don’t know what the reason is for +0,7kg. May be it’s just a cold weather. Anyway, I ran my 7km in the morning (in 2 tights and 3 shirts + a jacket)
