Total loss for November: One pound. Really? It's ok. I've had a steady decline all week and a little bump this morning. It's almost certain I won't hit my goal tomorrow, so I'll see you next month to try to knock that last five pounds off and get to 143.

@JennH517 Since we just finished our Thanksgiving feasts and weekend a few days ago, you have accomplished a TRIPLE victory.
1. Weight Loss in spite of surgery (restrictive movement and extra fluids via IV treatment.)
2. Weight Loss just after the Thanksgiving Feasts and weekend.
3. Weight Loss that has squarely put you in ONEDERLAND !!!!!

My Final Goal: To weight 145 by Valentine’s Day 💗💗💗 By March 15, 2019 I hope to weigh no more than 153 after an initial and expected water weight gain after transitioning off my diet. I am allowing for (hopefully no more than) 8 pounds for the water weight.

November 01 - 177.6
November 08 - 179.6 Too much travel this week. All restaurant foods and no movement.
November 15 - 177.2 A miracle I came in this week at a loss. Lots of travel & restaurants this past week. Weight went up higher, but is slowly moving back down. It is nice to type the weight in red ink again!
November 22 - 176.0 Okay, mending well here so far. But two Thanksgiving Dinner’s are going to happen. I will just have to show a little restraint. Next week’s weigh-in will tattle on me for sure telling the whole story.
November 29 - 176.4 I am very proud of this weight. After my two Thanksgiving FEASTS , my weight increased to 180.4 !!!!! So I have been working non-stop to get back to where I need to be and I am now a touch lower than the start of this challenge. Tonight is a potluck dinner and tomorrow is my final weigh-in. I’m afraid I will show an increase overnight which may mostly be water due to carby foods. My goal here today is to keep the scale down to 177.6 or less (my start weight on 11-1-18.) Then I’ll feel like I managed to float and didn’t drown. I certainly hoped for a bigger loss. However, if these challenges can keep the gain at bay during the hardest holidays of the year in November and December, I can’t help but feel it’s a great success. I do have a birthday middle of November so whilst I expect to have a cheat day or two I’m still aiming for 7lbs loss in November. I only started at the beginning of September so have consistently been losing 2+lb a week so this target seems reasonable yet still a challenge.

Oh how I have to eat my words 😅😩 I have lacked motivation this month massively being unaccountable for days at a time. Today the scales are saying 241lb which is still a loss of 4.2lbs so atleast I have lost this month however it’s not what I wanted to lose 😩. This last week has been a lot better so I’m very much back on track so all is not lost.

I didn’t exactly hit my goal, I saw it once briefly and just yo-yoed all around it. It’s frustrating but I’m very proud of what I did accomplish. I’m going to make my December goal to clean up that lingering 1.6lb that I didn’t destroy this month and focus on maintaining through the Holidays. Focus on fitness and getting in all of my workouts.

11/19 - 177 - SMH - These 170's are the devil! BUT, they won't win.
11/26 - 178 - 😥 Excess fluid, but nooooooooo to this number, lol. The brightside is that my bodyfat percentage is lower.
11/28 - 174.8 - Two more pounds in 2 days. Is it even possible? I'll try.
11/30 - 178.2 - Ate pretzels last night so paying the price today.

Just squeaked to that 5 pound loss, I was shooting for a 9 pound loss, but I'll take it! I had put on 40 pounds this year in 6 months, looks like at this pace it will take me 8 months to take it back off : - (
Such is how it goes.
For some of us it is a lifelong battle I guess.
Tracking is definitely the only way to stay on top of it.
If we do this challenge again next month I think that I am going to follow Tracie_Lord and do it daily. It will show better fluctuations and it is really good for accountability.
Good job everyone for taking ownership. At the end of the day it is up to us and us alone.

You sure had a great start in the first 5 days! Pretzels and stuff are okay to have, everything is okay to have as long as we measure/count it. Deprivation never works for sure. Moderation can be tough, but we can do it!!3
