Machka ... when my older son with Cerebral Palsy was younger and we were involved with multiple specialists, I remember getting so frustrated! Therapists would have "home plans" and exercise routines and appointments that I seemingly was supposed to complete without thought to other life commitments . I remember bursting into tears one time when my dinner burned while I kept fussing with my son's positioning. It was then I decided that while all the professionals meant well, they were not the ones actually living with their advice. Finding a balance became key. I still tried to incorporate as much of their plans as possible, but recognized that it wouldn't always happen. Years later I learned that they never expected parents to comply with everything ... and only hoped that they would do some of the things. Find the balance.
