I was in a theater group for a short while and played Chino in West Side Story. I was horrible but it was fun.
What a fetching Chino you must have been. A cultured builder/fighter. 😉1 -
A's expose due this week. He has his list of men engaged in actions unbecoming of their status'. Have pre-determined some of the names, activities and unsavory Apps users. Silliness. The search for a salve to Heartbreak will be the outing many didn't factor they'd have to deal with at all. He is out to humiliate. Libel attorneys stand ready! This is his idea of ending 2018 - ruining men and families.
Details are sketchy. It is unknown if A is a hurt flower, or if he is a disgruntled man jilted by a married woman who has chosen to return to her husband.1 -

A's hit list, names, photos and videos showing men engaged in adult acts will be exposed this week. Some are married, others from families where certain activities will be frowned upon. The man is hiding behind investigative reporting to defame his list of men. He has alluded to being on both sides of the love triangle, hence my mention of the reporter being the flower or the jilted man. I just don't get why he needs to collate and hurl more men under the bus for engaging in adult play. Why not his targets, unless he is hiding his targets. It's personal, not political. The reporter already has 2 defamation cases - lost one, the other is pending ... Clearly has nothing to lose.
Reporter thinks to inflame ... Only the church sets would be riled. My brother says, there would be expats on that list, knowing of the club ... I just don't get how some people cannot stay out of other peoples bedroom antics. In no news country, the bedroom is newsy news. The scorned writer.
That is what is on my mind.3 -

Condensed questions for me ... What is the reporter's end game and who is his end target? All this fluff for what?
A 500 people list of monied people was printed by our Revenue Service ... Will they be the people on his list? Extortion or quality reporting?

Camp Pendleton noise pollution advisory... 12/10 - 12/13. Good to know that those blasts doesn't mean we're going to war, most especially after the 10 ✈C-17s passing overhead this morning created a mini panic in our neighbourhood. Lol.
And just a few minutes ago, Blackhawk helicopters. 🚁3 -
I have some “loose ends” I have been trying to deal with since my divorce.
Ex just called, he found out about them, I’d rather he hadn’t but he was very cool about it all.
I am relieved not to have those secrets anymore.

One thing at a time1 -
Feeling pretty sad and angry that I gave up my progress at Thanksgiving because of a couple bad days. I've been planning on restarting in 2019 but I'm just so uncomfortable in my skin and just wish I didn't stop. But I also know since my sister is coming back in town from university this week, I will be drinking a lot over the next three weeks while she's here and I just feel like any attempt at weight loss will be worthless. It just doesn't help that she's a runner & literally so fit and nothing she eats or drinks makes her gain weight. Just having a lot of feelings right now.2

It's a weird thing....
Something that was used by someone every day, no longer needed once they die.
Like their wallet, their purse, or their glasses.
But it feels strange to "get rid" of it.2 -

it does. because then there is admitting they aren't coming back and no more memories will be made with them. i still have a few things of my husband's 2 years later1 -

i still got a bottle of my ma's perfume i've kept all these years. plus a broken watch she had that she'd asked me to fix and i never got around to it. its all i got left of her anymore so i don't really see anything wrong with holding on to that stuff.
i think you just gotta balance how often you let yourself think of it. keeping things of theirs is a good way to remember them when you need it. you just don't wanna let it be all you think of or remember all the time either.4 -

Fun story...
When I closed on the apartment, I got it with everything that the ex-owner left inside. Her husband had died and and she just moved to the States to be with her daughter, who was living there with her own family. She was finally selling, after 5 years away. It was probably one of those situations in which you keep telling yourself that you're going to come back for more than a couple of days per year to „really sort it out here” but never actually do and then say *kitten* it.
So I have a big blue IKEA bag full of family portraits, various pictures and personal documents/trinkets of hers and her husband's. She didn't want to take anything from the house, not even this stuff. I donated a lot of their work (he was a musician, she was an archaeologist) and furniture but this is different and it is creepy and weird and makes me feel uneasy, but 2.5 years later I still have the damn blue bag and it's in the garage because I just can't throw it away. It feels wrong. I never wanna go through those things, I don't want to see them, I'm not a hoarder, but it just... feels wrong, you know? Maybe I ought to burn them, what if throwing away makes'em fall into the wrong hands? Or something?RomaineCalm wrote: »It's a weird thing....

This. 100% this.
And also, I'm sorry.1 -
I've been asking the Universe to send me love but like anything else you have to be specific. I wasn't. The Universe didn't send me someone to fall in love with. It sent me the spirit of love. An angel came to me tonight. She was always here in plain sight. She offered me my words from long ago. Those words were mostly memories of difficult times with loved ones but also words of progress. Tonight's experience was like a whisper from family who have passed saying "We're here, we love you and you're doing a good job!" To the Universe and to my new angel...Thank you!!!3

Hayleigh was a freak about her chapstick, just like me. She always had some on her. When she was intubated after her accident, her lips started drying out. I got her 'sugar cookie' flavored chapstick from her things and put it on her a few times a day. The last thing I did when she was in her casket and I was saying goodbye, was I lifted her hands and put her chapstick underneath. A few days later, I was looking in the store for that same kind of chapstick. It was seasonal for Christmas I guess. Couldn't find it, the shelf was empty. Minutes later, in a different part of the store, there was a three pack of it, just sitting there randomly and totally out of place. I bought it. When I got home, I went on Amazon and bought a box of it and it's the only kind I've used since January.
I dont know you well, you probably dont even like me......but i read these things you write every time, and i genuinely feel for you. I dont pity you, but i respect you and how you deal with pain every day. Keep sharing everything and anything you want, and ill keep reading and offering quiet suipport mostly, but sometimes i may just need to say something. You are a good father and a good man.13
