10lbs before new year, who’s with me?

I planned on weighing in this Saturday for the first time... well my period is about to start.... I’ll see and if it has started I usually don’t report the week of shark week. I can always post a big loss the next week if that does happen 🥳0

Challenge SW: 150
5th Nov: 148
12th Nov:149
19th Nov: 148
26th Nov: 147
3rd Dec: 146
10th Dec: 145.5
New Year 2019 Goal: 140
Getting below 144 is my next target weight (into the healthy bmi range) - really hoping to get there this week, but it's that TOM, so we'll see if that actually happens.
I have a pretty busy week this week, so will be working hard to stay on track. It's the last week of school for my kids, so lots to get done. And a couple of "fun night" end of year activities = fast food dinners. Will have to try to be extra organised and eat beforehand (or eat very small lunches).0 -

Monday morning weigh-in for 10 lb challenge - I'm down another 2 lbs for a total of 8 for the challenge!! I have to say I'm pretty happy with this weeks result as it was a very tough food week with very little exercise. I made sure to track my food and wasn't too hard on myself for my "Christmas-y" choices". The big win for me (over the 2 lb loss) was that I did eat some of those taboo foods this week, but because I was still tracking, I mostly kept control of my quantities, ultimately enjoyed myself, and still managed to have a positive result!! That's how life is supposed to work, right??
Have a great week everyone!!2 -
Ugh. Fell off the healthy eating for the weekend. Back on track today. Got to stop thinking “all or nothing” feel so much better this morning!!2
-
It's official: 10.5lbs down since Halloween! *victory dance* Had a stall last week which slowed me down, but then I was 2.5lbs down this week! And I'm now just a pound away from not being Obese, which is my Christmas goal.

171 lbs today! Soooooo close...0 -

Love the enthusiastic newbies on this thread, but it probably goes without saying that this thread is a few months old, and anyone joining this mini-challenge now is going to struggle to lose 10lbs in... *checks notes*... 15 days. Unless you're just starting out and very obese, a 10lb drop between now and New Year will probably require an amputation of a limb.
Maybe we can have another challenge - How about 10lb by Valentines Day? Or 10lbs by Mardi Gras?7 -
I've made a new challenge for anyone who wants to jump on board:

Well week one for me was -4.2lb. I didn’t weigh the week of my period the week before this one. Only 5.8 more lb to go! 2.9 ish lb a week 😬0

I’m not obese and I lose about 2-3 lb a week so 10lb in a month is doable for me. I’m all on board for a ten pounds by Valentine’s Day challenge though 🥰

2.8lbs to go!
Put on 2lbs since last week through being ill, not running and not counting calories. So 4.8 to go.. hoping at least some of that is water weight! But if not, new goal of being under 140lbs by the 10th of Jan when my boyfriend visits😊
