Struggles/successes: Posting early as going away for the weekend and won’t have access to a scale on my usual weigh in day. It’s my 40th on Monday and I’m feeling fit and healthy. This is the biggest success for me and makes all the struggles worth it.

Successes/struggles of the week: I want to blame all this recent weight gain and lack of participation with MFP on something serious and problematic to try to rationalize it. Truth is, life is amazing right now, just hectic, so I let my priorities shift a bit. Completely my fault and no real excuse to justify it. I just have to fess up and say I love to eat and I love to decorate new spaces - combine those loves with the fact that I just bought a house in a new area with lots of fun restaurants to test out... and well, apparently I go off the rails a bit!
Now that the newness is wearing off and I have the basic necessities figured out in the new house, I can get back to a good headspace. Joined the gym across the street last week (paid 2 years up front!) and started buying my bulk food options (or best equivalent) to begin meal prepping again. Trying my best to fall naturally back into the good habits I established.
It’s working... slow and steady will always win the race.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week:Back from my vacation/cruise. Weight is way up despite my walking 3 miles a day and climbing the stairs from Deck 3-Deck 12 3 times a day this was on top of the walking I did when we were in port. It wasn't the food as much as it was the alcohol which I let get out of hand. I know air travel and salt will put on the pounds. I'm back on the back wagon I'm give myself 2 weeks for my body to adjust then I will see what the damage is. Despite the weight gain I enjoyed myself and seeing friends I haven't seen in over 2 years.7 -

Success/Struggles: I'm feeling good, weight's back up to maintenance and getting back my energy! I'm starting a third training session with my PT for the next 3 weeks, since she'll be gone 2 weeks at Christmas. I'm determined to continue the weight training on my own while she's gone, it's just too hard to keep coming back and making up lost progress.4 -

Last week I found out I am pregnant. So I guess I won't be maintaining anymore lol. I am going to try really hard to keep a handle on my weight gain though. Last time I was pregnant I gained 65 lbs and I don't want to do that this time. My goal is the recommended 25-35 lbs.10 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Posting two weeks' worth of data as I was away last weekend with lots of good food and drinks. Not much of interest for last week, but this week is a bit odd as, despite all the eating out last weekend as well as throughout this week (ordered lots of takeout and have been eating mostly that all week), my weight seems to have dropped into the lower end of my range. I don't think I underestimated all of the food that much, so maybe there was some water weight I was holding on to that I dropped. Either way, it's the ups and downs like this that are making me more and more comfortable that I am indeed maintaining over the past several months, and that any "gain" or "loss" is not a real gain or loss!4 -

Struggles/successes: There have been many celebration meals for my 40th (bf, friends, family) so it’s been hard staying in maintenance. Want to stay fairly strict this week up to my work Xmas party and thereafter until Christmas itself so I don’t worry too much.

Success/Struggles: Had a good week! Looking forward to all the family birthdays coming up next weekend (older daughter and son-in-law have the same birthday and older grandson is the next day). I've started making a few meals that I can freeze and pull out when we have those nights where nobody wants to cook and the choice is take-out or eat out. Or eat all the homemade cookies before I get a chance to freeze them1 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Pretty uneventful week. My weight is back down from the wedding last weekend. My son is graduating from college on Saturday so this weekend will probably have more food/drinks than usual. I kind of like being on the low end of the range (ok, I'm slightly under range) going into these holidays and special occasions. It helps me to have fun and not stress about what I'm eating knowing that I have some wiggle room. Seeing my weight go up a bit after the wedding last week and then back down this week after eating "normal" for a week was good for me mentally. As long as everyday doesn't become a "special" occasion then I know I can indulge a little on special occasions and still keep my weight in maintenance range. I feel like I have done a good job of maintaining this year. My trend has dropped a little since about August, but I am not under-eating. I am not stressing about what I eat and I am well above "underweight" for my height. I think I have just found a good balance between my eating and my activity.5 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: I haven't been as committed to logging lately. Each time I stray from tracking, I inevitably eat too much sugar. Definitely have some major sugar cravings going on! I lost my streak at the end of October (840+ days), so that was kind of disappointing. Overall, though, I am managing to just stay in range. I'd love to be a few pounds less right now as I will no doubt be indulging through the holiday!3 -

I finally reached the bottom of my goal range and started maintenance! Just coming off an insane 17 lb of water weight gained then lost in a single week following my doctor halving my blood pressure med (which contains a diuretic), then the final two pounds slid off overnight and I’m in maintenance. The challenge is that the weather here is crappy cold rain for days now so not getting my walking/running in as much as I should and eating more than usual makes me scared after 14 months of steady deficit.5 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: it was a big celebratory weekend and I struggled with deciding how much to celebrate and how much to splurge food wise and skipping exercise over then weekend. I feel like I found a happy medium. I had a little bit of everything. I shared a lot of my food and that helped! I had a really good run this week. It’s finally cold in Florida and I have found that my favorite running weather is in the low 40s.7 -

I don't know if I should be participating on here because I'm pregnant and obviously going to be gaining lol. I haven't had much of an appetite and am having trouble eating enough. Checking in early as away again this weekend. All good as I have dropped down a bit and seem to be hovering nicely around where I want to be. Work Christmas party tonight which will have temptations but it’s at my place so no doubt I’ll be rushing too much to really indulge! The challenge now is to stay on track up to Christmas and ensure that while I’m off work (teacher) I can keep up the activity.

Success/Struggles: We had snowmageddon on Sunday and this week had me housebound for 2 days and unable to go to the gym until this morning. I did the best I could to stay active through it all and found that all those hours clocked on the treadmill made me able to get myself to walk at a brisk pace back and forth in the house for extended periods of time so I actually did ok. Still need to get myself to eat a bit more5
