Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Pretty uneventful week. My weight is back down from the wedding last weekend. My son is graduating from college on Saturday so this weekend will probably have more food/drinks than usual. I kind of like being on the low end of the range (ok, I'm slightly under range) going into these holidays and special occasions. It helps me to have fun and not stress about what I'm eating knowing that I have some wiggle room. Seeing my weight go up a bit after the wedding last week and then back down this week after eating "normal" for a week was good for me mentally. As long as everyday doesn't become a "special" occasion then I know I can indulge a little on special occasions and still keep my weight in maintenance range. I feel like I have done a good job of maintaining this year. My trend has dropped a little since about August, but I am not under-eating. I am not stressing about what I eat and I am well above "underweight" for my height. I think I have just found a good balance between my eating and my activity.5 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: I haven't been as committed to logging lately. Each time I stray from tracking, I inevitably eat too much sugar. Definitely have some major sugar cravings going on! I lost my streak at the end of October (840+ days), so that was kind of disappointing. Overall, though, I am managing to just stay in range. I'd love to be a few pounds less right now as I will no doubt be indulging through the holiday!3 -

Successes/Struggles of the Week:
I finally reached the bottom of my goal range and started maintenance! Just coming off an insane 17 lb of water weight gained then lost in a single week following my doctor halving my blood pressure med (which contains a diuretic), then the final two pounds slid off overnight and I’m in maintenance. The challenge is that the weather here is crappy cold rain for days now so not getting my walking/running in as much as I should and eating more than usual makes me scared after 14 months of steady deficit.5 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: it was a big celebratory weekend and I struggled with deciding how much to celebrate and how much to splurge food wise and skipping exercise over then weekend. I feel like I found a happy medium. I had a little bit of everything. I shared a lot of my food and that helped! I had a really good run this week. It’s finally cold in Florida and I have found that my favorite running weather is in the low 40s.7 -

I don't know if I should be participating on here because I'm pregnant and obviously going to be gaining lol. I haven't had much of an appetite and am having trouble eating enough. I'm trying to eat around maintenance or slightly above but I have been eating slightly under. I also haven't really been working out because I'm so tired lol! I went for a run over the weekend, and I meant to get up and run this morning but I was just too tired. Hopefully I will be able to go run after work.

Checking in early as away again this weekend. All good as I have dropped down a bit and seem to be hovering nicely around where I want to be. Work Christmas party tonight which will have temptations but it’s at my place so no doubt I’ll be rushing too much to really indulge! The challenge now is to stay on track up to Christmas and ensure that while I’m off work (teacher) I can keep up the activity.

Success/Struggles: We had snowmageddon on Sunday and this week had me housebound for 2 days and unable to go to the gym until this morning. I did the best I could to stay active through it all and found that all those hours clocked on the treadmill made me able to get myself to walk at a brisk pace back and forth in the house for extended periods of time so I actually did ok. Still need to get myself to eat a bit more5 -

8 of the past 9 days have all been below the middle of my goal range.
My plan for the past 1.5 months has been to slowly lose a little (only a 1,000 kilojoule or less deficit) so that I can not worry about a few celebrations at the end of the year.

I've got an Android phone, so the options are a bit different, but my Fitbit account is linked to MFP and the Fitbit app provides weekly averages. I do calculations for my monthly average, but at least it's only 4 numbers then.0 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Started the week off really low, below the lowest end of the range and the lowest that I've been since I started maintenance. I was back in range for the rest of the week though, although most of that is from water weight, so I think that I'm still probably at the low end of the range. This is good though since I'll be away for the next 1.5 weeks with plans for a lot of eating out at nice restaurants and stopping at pastry/dessert shops, so I'll have some leeway and can enjoy eating everything.4 -

Successes/struggles of the week: Ugh. Once again, averaging the same weight. I guess it’s still better than the alternative - gaining more. Only one more week of treats in the office. Once the free goodies are gone, I think it will be easier to stay the course.
Signing up for my second marathon which will be in July. Training for that race will definitely force me back into good cardio habits. I’m excited for this event - It’s located in “the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania.” Next year will mark the 10 year anniversary since I’ve last visited that place. My husband is going to join me to run the half while I run the full. Super excited for both of us!

I log my daily weight in Excel. I also track other biometric data when the button on my scale is working (body fat % estimate, body water content, bone mass). I have a column that automatically calculates a ten-day rolling average. It's actually not necessarily a ten DAY average - it's more of a ten ENTRY average. Some days I am away from a reliable scale, so it's just the average of the last ten days. That's the same as what Trendweight does; I use that, too. Once a week, I just run a seven day average off to the side. That one is just for the week, so it's a six-day average if I didn't weigh one week. At the end of the month, I run a monthly average. Easy peasy!1
