If it didn't have calories, right now I would eat...

The chinese buffett. All hot and fresh, anything I want.
Apropos of nothing, the first Chinese buffet I ever went to had... mashed potatoes on it. It was near where I used to work. They were great mashed potatoes. I could go for some of them.2 -

Of course! His cooking is very swoon-worthy. (He's not so bad himself)4 -
I used to enjoy buffets, but it was mostly because I could satisfy my binge urge there. Sometimes I still do a breakfast buffet at a hotel when there really isn't another choice.1

An entire apple pie3

I want Chinese buffet now.. 😜..1
-
Another chocolate ginger biscuit1

More of my wife's decadent rich chocolate cake.
It is made with almond flour and coconut palm sugar. And she only uses about 1/3 the sugar. Taste the chocolate, not the sugar.
Yum.

The whole bag.
The grocery store where we vacation had them, and I bought them and devoured them. They were soooo delicious. I was sort of happy that the stores here at home didn't carry them.
Well, guess what I saw in Wegmans yesterday?2 -

Wegmans has these in like 20 flavors, omg they are sooo good.1 -
I’d eat a HUGE brownie sundae. 😋2

Don't know why, but I want a pile of macaroons. Maybe cause they're soooo expensive!

I'm ovulating so it's time to bring it ALL on. Right now I'd devour some proper scones made by my mum. Butter AND jam AND clotted cream and a cup of tea with milk and two sugars, please.
Also Souplantation. My "salad" would have a passing acquaintance with lettuce, I'd take some extra cups of Thousand Island and nab an extra large plate instead of settling for the *kitten* side plates they have at the hot food. Pass on the soups and head straight for the pizza and cheesy bread slices, one of each pasta, cornbread and mini muffins with honey whipped butter. And then we move on to the soft serve.2 -

It's gonna be meh, and I'm gonna be pissed. I'm not eating that stupid pie. (Now I won't, out of stubbornness. Thanks, guys!)1 -
So this is fascinating to me, we have run across an interesting juxtaposition in this and some other threads.
Even if they had no calories, I doubt I would eat the muffins in @quiksylver296 's post. I mean, I'll eat a muffin if it's served to me, but it's hardly ever something I'd choose. Yet I would push a small child out of my way to get at a donut before them. Dunkin donuts, boxed donuts, street fair donuts, bakery donuts - they all make me drool. Whereas others have said they don't care for donuts.
There is a muffin v. donut issue here. I wonder if which side we come down on says something about us.
Yes, I am desperately avoiding work.
Yes, I am very proud of using "juxtaposition" in a sentence. Whether or not I used it correctly doesn't matter to me.
Right now, I'm dreaming of this, and yes I am hormonal, thank you for noticing:
Except with chocolate ice cream on top. With a cup of coffee. And a shot of bourbon.5 -

I love those stupid things. But I mostly don't love them 800 calories worth.1 -

Just to clarify, I will pass on most muffins. But Costco's blueberry cake muffin? Sooo good.3 -
Thanks, @kimny72. Now I want a brownie. With a steaming hot cuppa joe. And some Jameson's.
'Tis the season, right? HAHA!3 -
Sweet! We're all gorging on brownies and spiked coffee of some sort! :laugh:1
