Aquaman. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The special effects and make up on certain human characters were slightly distracting for a minute, but the overall experience is IMAX worthy. Momoa nailed it.
He interpreted his character as a metahuman Pacific islander, flawless nonchalance. 💚Chaahooo!!

The Kraken was expected, yet not. The Navy Seal was annoying. Literally the first time I have ever watched a movie and hoped that one of my own colour be "taken out" - the joke, that in most horror flicks, the black characters are killed first. His continued resurgence made him the "perfect" nemesis, to the metahuman Aquaman.

Atlantis tech + rides ... Phenomenal!

Will watch it again locally once it hits theaters down here. 💚

    Instant family.

I love love Mark Wahlberg. Rose Byrne - she was made for this role - Aussie girl has come a long way since the Shining. The pair made the perfect comedic couple. 💚 Mark's lines are soooo ridiculously real, you cannot help but yelp out loud at times.

This movie takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. You're laughing at the Reno-home flipping couple one minute. Cooing over the adoptive under 12 years children the next. Broken on behalf of the traumatized boy. Feeling nothing but shattered for the teen who'd hoped for so much, yet continued to push back as only teens can, even when they are with natural parents, she was no different. Heartbreaking to watch children accept the roll of the dice, as desperate couples seek to complete their families.

The Social workers as portrayed by Tig Notaro and Octavia Spencer were a perfect set. They played off each other's roles and energy with the synchronicity every line producer has dreams about.

    * If you, like me, goes putty over abandoned children or animals ... Don't watch this film.
    * Go to the bathroom before the film starts. You WILL wet yourself if you don't.

Teen Titans vs Justice League, not bad aside from the wonky timeline and the fact that it doesn’t make much sense if you don’t know the characters used.
