Ok so I decided to bite the bullet and weigh this morning. So I'll will be doing my weigh ins on Fridays. Hoping to get under 200 by challenge end.

@sassysmom35 You are my challenge twin. I had put starting weight 210 and GW 199 ie Onederland.
I did the same as you, started logging food but didn't step on scale not to get discouraged by the number. I estimate I have lost 20 lbs already.
I am 5ft7. My UGW is 130ish
That's awesome. Except for height we are total twinsies! That'll make it even more fun to have someone similar in so many ways. Do you mind if I add you as a friend?
I need to friend you both! I am also have a SW- 210 and would love to be back in onederland by Valentines day!! GW (for this year ) 1603 -
4 more days until I can weigh in and see how I did over this vacation. There have been so many family visits, parties and dinner dates - but I think I’ve done pretty well! It’s also been unfortunately sedentary around here except for my 3 runs each week, but I’m still hopeful I’ve not done too badly. 🤞🏻
No need to wait .... if you want to do an interim weigh-in check (whether you post it here or not), DO SO!
The more data-points you gather, the more correlations you can make. (what did I do that helped / hindered desired results since last time?)

I'm in....starting weight 185.4 GW 160. I will go for the 10 lbs by Valentine's...also doing Dry January so I hope that helps!3

Hello, I am new to this forum my current weight is 233 lbs so my goal is 223 lbs by Valentine Day or less, wish me luck. My goal weight is 170 lbs but losing medical steroid weight is proving to be much harder than baby weigh gain.3

189.2 today. My foot has been hurting me when I put weight on it so I took it easier today. Still did exercise, just not a full hour, only 20 minutes of cardio. I think it's my body adjusting to moving more. Just don't want to overdo it and then end up setting back my progress. On track for my calories for the day so far though.3

just start slow then . A 10-15 minute brisk walk / a u tube fitness video & build up from there !!
My dog is overweight as well, so he incentizes me as the vet had said that he must exercise . I normally take him for morning & evening walks .2 -

I hope I’m not too late. I’m at the heaviest ever been. I think I’m around 230 lbs. need to weigh myself later. I’ve struggled with my weight and I got lazy due to back problems and shoulder problems as well as endometriosis. But I’m unhappy and I’m starting change. I want to be under 200. So I’ll start with this challenge. Good luck ladies8

I would like to join if still possible? I am a 58 year old educator along with a PhD candidate who's life is nothing but stress and deadlines. I have stopped exercising and go from not eating some days, to healthy eating other days, to junk food others. In the meantime, my junk food loving hubby has retired and is the one waiting at home a 7pm with dinner when I get home.
Basically, my eating mimics my roller coaster life. I have gone from 2006 where I weighed 138 pounds and walked a full marathon, to today where I struggle to walk a flight of stairs and weigh 198 pounds. I need to get my fitness in order and am ready to make ME a priority. I need the support of this group!6 -

seems like a very definable reasonable goal. I'm 215 and change so 205 would be great. heck right now I'd take 210 because at least the scale is on a downward trend rather then the recent upswing that has been so prominent for the last several months. But the goal is 205 by 2/14/193

I’m in for 6 lbs by 2/14. Have two vacations scheduled in there so will try to incorporate more walks and fewer umbrella drinks.
