Saved a bunch of calories yesterday for a planned high-cal treat at the end of the day, then didn't even eat as much of it as I planned and came in well under goal!33

I have a job interview tomorrow but none of my dressy clothes fit so I needed to go shopping today. Everything I ended up buying is a medium! I can’t remember the last time I felt so confident in a dressing room. Instead of just thinking “Oh this will do I guess” I genuinely love everything I bought and feel really confident about myself in them.

You will walk in that interview with so much confidence!
Good Luck.11 -
I went to talk to a trainer at a barbell gym today. Explained via email and phone I’d lost some weight, everything jiggles and needed to tone up. When I walked in she was stunned, said “you aren’t at ALL what I expected! You’ve done this thing right!” And then proceeded to tell me I have the body of an athlete. I couldn’t believe it and kept thanking her. This is the gym where the SWAT team trains. She wasn’t just blowing air up by *kitten* either. I think, lol! I’m stoked and ready to start NOW!42

Eek! I had an interview today and my skirt was way too big but didn't realise until the day before lol
Hope I didn't blow it by looking unkempt!
Good luck with yours!! Xx15 -
I pulled down my jeans - still zipped and buttoned - without thinking, thinking for some reason that I was wearing tights. They came right off! I tried that with another pair of jeans and the same thing happened!33

I'm only down 13 lbs so far, so I didn't think there would be any noticeable changes yet. But I went to Torrid, and suddenly all my shirts are a 0 (XL) instead of a 1 (2X) now. Which means one more size down, and I can't shop there anymore!

I attended yoga today. That is 2x this week-something I have not been able to do (for other health reasons) since the fall.28

Logged even while feeling under the weather which is a big accomplishment for me! I tend to overeat when sick which is like the opposite of everyone else I realize (I think it's about trying to find something to help me feel better and I go to food first!). Kept it on the healthier side and feeling better now and ready to work.26

I got back on the wagon. Or I feel I am. I’ve been logging my food daily and working out regularly, but even more importantly I am only eating when hungry (whereas before I had to have my 3 meals etc) AND I stop when I feel full - I’m taking my time to eat rather than wolfing down my calorie allowance while watching Netflix. I always feel I have to clean my plate, so leaving the food I don’t feel hungry for anymore is a huge deal to me.38

I hear you. I too am known for wolfing down my food and eating because it is the time on the clock. I am training myself to listen more to my body and put my cutlery down as often as I can and chewing! It is a big change that I know helps a lot.17 -
Finishing week 5, day 3 of c25k app, running 20 minutes straight, then putting on a pair of pants that I hadn't been able to wear since before babies31

Sort of a scale victory... not so much about the number on the scale, but it's been 2.5 weeks since getting back into the groove after the holidays, and I'm back down to my low maintenance number. Got rid of all that excess bloat/fat gained Nov-Dec.28

Wow. My NSVs are coming faster! I did a hot yoga class this morning and didn’t die. I hate hot classes but it was the only one that fit the schedule today. I also managed to hold (!!!!) crow pose and unexpectedly got baby grasshopper!!!! Not bad for a 56 year old still overweight (but getting there!) chick!!!
My goal for 2019 was to get all the “eka” poses. I start weight training next week. Can’t wait to build some upper body strength and mark those bad boys off the to-do list.
Oh.... and I went for lunch with a friend, apologized while I logged it all in, and my salad only came to 299 calories. And I walked past the display case of lucious desserts, including my absolute weakness, cream brûlée!!! 😃
Look at all the exclamation marks lol! 😂😂😂26 -
I haven't had a NSV lately. It's been quite a while, in fact. Onward, through the fog!25

Ripped some jeans the other day in the crotch at work (of course) and had to buy new ones. Went down a pant size. That was a bit unexpected.30

Completed week 3 of couch 2 5k today! I'm a little excited to see if I can move on to 4 next week. Or if it will be 3.5, then 4. lol. I'm a little nervous about running 5 minutes in a row, but I managed 3 this week better then I thought I would.24

You're still here, fighting for it! That's a huge NSV even when it's hard to see it.20
