Logged even while feeling under the weather which is a big accomplishment for me! I tend to overeat when sick which is like the opposite of everyone else I realize (I think it's about trying to find something to help me feel better and I go to food first!). Kept it on the healthier side and feeling better now and ready to work.26

I got back on the wagon. Or I feel I am. I’ve been logging my food daily and working out regularly, but even more importantly I am only eating when hungry (whereas before I had to have my 3 meals etc) AND I stop when I feel full - I’m taking my time to eat rather than wolfing down my calorie allowance while watching Netflix. I always feel I have to clean my plate, so leaving the food I don’t feel hungry for anymore is a huge deal to me.38

I hear you. I too am known for wolfing down my food and eating because it is the time on the clock. I am training myself to listen more to my body and put my cutlery down as often as I can and chewing! It is a big change that I know helps a lot.17 -
Finishing week 5, day 3 of c25k app, running 20 minutes straight, then putting on a pair of pants that I hadn't been able to wear since before babies31

Sort of a scale victory... not so much about the number on the scale, but it's been 2.5 weeks since getting back into the groove after the holidays, and I'm back down to my low maintenance number. Got rid of all that excess bloat/fat gained Nov-Dec.28

Wow. My NSVs are coming faster! I did a hot yoga class this morning and didn’t die. I hate hot classes but it was the only one that fit the schedule today. I also managed to hold (!!!!) crow pose and unexpectedly got baby grasshopper!!!! Not bad for a 56 year old still overweight (but getting there!) chick!!!
My goal for 2019 was to get all the “eka” poses. I start weight training next week. Can’t wait to build some upper body strength and mark those bad boys off the to-do list.
Oh.... and I went for lunch with a friend, apologized while I logged it all in, and my salad only came to 299 calories. And I walked past the display case of lucious desserts, including my absolute weakness, cream brûlée!!! 😃
Look at all the exclamation marks lol! 😂😂😂26 -
I haven't had a NSV lately. It's been quite a while, in fact. Onward, through the fog!25
-
Ripped some jeans the other day in the crotch at work (of course) and had to buy new ones. Went down a pant size. That was a bit unexpected.30
-
Completed week 3 of couch 2 5k today! I'm a little excited to see if I can move on to 4 next week. Or if it will be 3.5, then 4. lol. I'm a little nervous about running 5 minutes in a row, but I managed 3 this week better then I thought I would.24

You're still here, fighting for it! That's a huge NSV even when it's hard to see it.20 -
Instead of ordering 1,000 things at taco bell for my free meal...i only ordered 2 tacos.. thats a huge change for me!31

I can see less of my stomach in my lap.34

I just put on a pair of jeans that haven’t fit since before my knee/leg injury 1.5 years ago!! Size 29 silver jeans (so size 7 normal size) and they fit perfectly!!! I noticed my other jeans wouldn’t even stay up with a belt but I didn’t think they were that far off. I had balloned up to a size 11 while injured and after surgery! Haven’t seen any scale movement but hot damn if it don’t feel good to fit in my favorite jeans again!!!22

I started this journey because I am a platelet donor. I was rejected a couple of times due to high blood pressure (after being repeatedly advised by the staff at the donation center that I was headed in that direction). Went to the doc and he gave me some meds. He also told me "You won't need those meds if you lose some weight".
So I got busy and lost 45 pounds. I have maintained a 40 pound loss for over a year. My NSV - I donated 18 times last year - no rejections for high blood pressure. Not to mention that I just generally feel better.52 -
Ran my fastest treadmill 5k yesterday - 26:09! Very proud of that. It’s amazing how as you lose weight you move faster, who’d have thunk it35

As someone who received platelets after giving birth, thank you for being a donor!29 -

This was me a year ago. The first time I ran for 5 minutes I was cheering. Now I regularly run 6+ miles every other day. Prepping for a half marathon later this year. I'm 60 and feeling better than I have in 30 years. You will do it too.27 -
It's unisex, and it is by no means loose, but I'm currently wearing a size small tshirt.23

Thank you!!! It was such a great feeling to not immediately want to cry when I saw my own picture. I’m still having to get used to this! 💕💕💕7 -

I know exactly what you mean, girl! I’m down 63.4 lbs since March 2018...I’m always so shocked when I see pictures of myself after losing the weight. I no longer feel disgusted with how I look. But when I see pictures from before the weight loss, I feel love for my old self and wish that I hadn’t beaten myself up so hard for being overweight.20 -
I did burpees today. I've been trying for months and it finally happened.29

I am on vacation in San Diego, and walked the sea lion trail in La Jolla. Then walked back to eat at this seafood market I was dying to try. First time in a long time that I've walked 10k steps! This is why i looooove warm weather!!35

Feeling muscles again! I had to stop working out for a while (which led to a little weight gain as well) but now that I'm getting back into it I've got muscles again!!27

i had a date with an incredibly hot guy yesterday (who's super fit and also super into me) and then saw myself naked in the mirror today and was so into myself! I still have 10 lbs or so to go but D*MN I look good!44

Decided to incorporate more running into my walking routine. Did 1st C25K today. Didn’t think I would be able to do it but...nailed it. Oh, and I’m 64!40

I went to buy new clothes for the gym. I went to this shop with really good prices, and bought two tshirts, and two leggins, all in size M.
My NSV is that a year ago I also went there, but couldn't buy a thing - their biggest size is XXL, and it was too small for me!!!!45 -
This one isn't really mine but I like to think that it's my influence that has been the cause of this:
I took my children out yesterday. As my six year old daughter was putting her shoes on, her first question was, "Are we walking, Mummy?" with real enthusiasm. We weren't as it was a little bit too far for the time we had available but I was so pleased to hear her say this.
Thinking about it though, these days it's often the first question she asks. As does her fourteen year old brother but he asks the question but with the attitude that only a grumpy teenager has. Usually accompanied by a good portion of moans and groans.38 -
A few sizes ago I hid my smaller pants away. My husband noticed my pants I was currently wearing were getting too big for me. So I tried on a pair of my old Jean's 2 sizes smaller that what I was wearing 3 months ago and they fit great! I can't wait to be able to fit in my smallest ones!39

One co-worker ordered pizza and offered some to me.. I said no thank you.. and she responds "I wish I had your restraint when it comes to junk food"... and then another co worker immediately said "Me too! You really do have some major self control".... for a girl who used to eat 6 cupcakes... or a whole cake... a whole thing of icecream... don't get me started on huge bags of candy in one sitting... this was huge!54
