It's been a rough month so far. I found out I have gastritis and everything I eat or drink hurts (after meds). I had an endoscopy on Tuesday and that was how I found out I have gastritis. I suspect it's based on H. Pylori (hoping actually, since then it's an easy fix - if it isn't it will be much more challenging to resolve) but I'm trying to eat as cleanly as I can, not only to lose weight but because my tummy doesn't seem to like anything but cooked vegetables. Things will get better, I'm just in the middle of waiting for my results.

Jan. 7: 157.2 (-2.6) -- YEEESSS!!! I worked so hard this last week and it showed up on the scale!
Jan. 14: 157.6 (+0.4) -- Up a smidge and I'm totally OK with it. I had two horrible bloatings this week (thank you, perimenopause), so if anything I thought this would be worse. But this was still a great week because I was able to run 5 miles this morning with absolutely no knee pain! First time since I hurt it on NYE. This means I'll be totally fine for my next half-marathon in March.
Jan. 21: 155 (-2.6) YEEESSS!!!! *throws confetti* *does happy dance* Just goes to show what tracking everything you eat and focusing can do. I also got to run outside today for the first time in three weeks -- no knee pain after 5 miles. Now I've got two months to get my stamina back up for my next half marathon.
Jan. 28: 154.4 (-0.6) And the downward trend continues! So happy! The plan my sports nutritionist put me on is really working. It's obvious my body is finally getting enough fuel for my workouts and is no longer going into starvation mode, causing it to hold on to what it's got and not lose. Plus I've been making great choices and literally working my butt off. It's all paying off!

Tomato soup one day, hot chocolate yesterday. A few days, junk carbs, cookie, chips, chocolate. The winter weather has been colder than it has been for a long time. Makes me want to eat!

I'm not sure how people usually post those, I'll most likely just be editing this post. Looking at yours will surely keep my motivation up.
Had a C-section on the 24th, there were complications and my lo is in NICU, but I'm getting discharged. It really feels unfair and I'm extremely guilty that I'm ok and he is not. I really need to keep my mind busy so I don't cry all the time, and I've been basically just reading all day about how I can make things better at home. I've decided I need to push to be as healthy as I can be so I can great him home stronger and able to take better care of him and his brother. Been at a very dark place for a long time and have completely ignored my well being with the excuse that there are more important things, including complete basics like brushing my hair. This needs to stop so he comes home to a healthy, happy place and mom. I'll be using mfp to get a hold on my diet, meal planning for the family and weight, and habit trackers to push myself to get to a normal functioning state.5 -

Try not to be too hard on yourself, your body has just gone through a lot and after my csection all my body was interested in doing was recovering. All your lo and sibling needs is you right now and if that's you having a giant bar of chocolate do it!3 -

I always tend to struggle when I get to this weight as if my body doesn't want to go any lower. Up my water and stay on track this week, for hopefully a loss maybe by the 31st.
