I have to say NO!
I am very hippy and curvy, and it is not the most flattering on me. I think if you are thicker through your hips, a wider bottom looks better. Something with at least an inch to help those hips out.
Remember, those with hips, don't need help making them look bigger! LOL
I don't understand why women don't like their hips!!! They're about my favorite part of my body. You have awesome curves woman!!!
When I'm at a healthy weight and my hips are more bone than fat, I love my hips. I'm an hourglass and I love the shape. But at a higher weight, the fat just looks bulgy and gross in a string bikini.0 -
My wife says that string bikinis are the most flattering for all body types.
What do you think?
what do you mean you can't see it under the rolls of fat

How is "relatively small breast coverage" of any use to someone with size G boobs? Especially after 5 years of breastfeeding.
[Pictures this image, throws up a little bit in his mouth....]
When my son was 5, he walked and talked and even got his own milk out of the refigerator....
I don't think she meant breastfeeding the same child for 5 years....like had a kid, nursed it....got pregnant, nursed that baby.....0 -
Wow, love the posts in this topic. Thanks everyone.0

If you put it on, and you can no longer SEE that it's a string bikini, it's not a good look.
I like mine. It's nice that it's adjustable as I've lost weight. :laugh:0 -

My boyfriend doesn't look as good in one as I do.
I'm good for the string on the top and actual bottoms that give a little coverage. I have small fun-bags, so the string looks good on my top. But my booty is waaaay to big to be sporting a string bottom.
Now, my boyfriend feels all sexy in one - both top and bottom. We can't convince him otherwise.0 -
HA! If you've got the confidence, go for it. I'd love to see my a** in a string bikini, but I doubt anyone else would. So, I save everyone else at the beach the misery.0

You eat excessive calories every day?0 -
They are not flattering unless you are skinny as hell (<12% body fat)...
I wear a bathing suit.. lol!0 -

I will answer your question as soon as I stop LMAO at the idea of me in bikini... and a string bikini at that!
Wow! :blushing: :noway:
Ok, no, nothing flatters every body type.
Us middle aged no longer obese but still overweight types prefer a two piece with a skirted top and boy short bottoms!!!0 -
I agree with most, they are not flattering to that many body types.
I actually use the string bikini top with shirts and tops during summer. I'm small chested so everything fits in just fine  Please note that I always wear something on top of it0
