Probably can do better as I am just starting to work out/loss weight but want to be honest with myself and a goal I know I can meet. Real goal even more so then the weight loss is to get my lazy butt to the gym at least 4 days a week.
Day/Weight/Comment
03/04 - 237.7 LB - Snow shoveling for 30 minutes planing 30 minutes run later tonight.
03/05 - 236.7 LB -Planing to do another 30 minutes run today. So far so good I know this is a lot of water weight but its great seeing it drop so fast even knowing its going to slow down soon.
03/06 - 236.00 No plans to do a workout today. however because of all the water weight I am losing I am setting a new goal to 232. Figure 5 LB of water weight and 2~3 of real weight loss.
03/07 - 235.3 - did no cardio yesterday. Today planing to do a light cardio 15 minutes following up with some light weight training(first time in years! can not wait)
03/08 - 235.5 - no real change from yesterday. Planing another run today.
03/09 - 235.2 - honestly happy to see I dropped rather than increased, had a bit of a bigger dinner that was high in well everything haha. Looking to do weight exercises and go for a run today. Try and get under 235 today!
03/10 - did not take weight
03/11 - 236 - up again a little. after the family dinner on Sunday I am not that shocked... but not going to let it get me down! Have a lot going on this week going to be hard to get to the gym as much but planing to go right after work today.

03/04- 354.8 I’m seriously surprised by this loss. I stayed on track yesterday, but had a horrible night and was up fairly late and am aching this morning. My mother in law got lost, ran out of gas,and we had to try to help her from 10 hours away. Thanks to the New Mexico State police we got someone out there to help her. On top of that my brother was rushed to emergency surgery for an abscess and sepsis. Today’s goal is to not over eat from stress and being tired.
03/05- 354.2 My brother is doing well and should be out of the hospital tomorrow. After posting yesterday I realized my kitchen pipe was frozen, we got it thawed without any additional problems. My mother in law is still on the road, but is now deciding to stop at night rather than risk going into ditches or running out of gas. Thanks again to my supportive spouse I didn’t binge eat yesterday. Partially because he did! That’s right he stress ate a few baked goods I had set aside so that I wouldn’t.
03/06- 355.2 It took a good long look at yesterday’s diary to figure this one out. I think it’s from my pancakes and muffin dinner with a bit of sodium weight tossed in. It’s okay I know that it’s water and will be gone in a day or two.
03/07- 355 I had hoped for more, but I know I’ll see a bigger drop soon. I just need to get my water back under control.
03/08- 354.8 Still not back down, but I looked at last month and I did the same thing. My goal today will be to get through today without stress eating. The settling in process with my mother in law is being very rough.
03/09- 354.2 And back to where I was a few days ago. I was more mindful of my water and sodium. I’ve been lacking in motivation to get in exercise and I haven’t been walking like I wanted so hopefully those two things are on tap today. My nsv from yesterday was taking an honest look at my excuses for my lack of movement and find ways to remove them. Today my only excuse will be simply because I didn’t and nothing else.
03/10- 354.8 I had way too much sodium last night and over ate a smidge. I know it’s all a water gain and I did it to myself. I need to get my head back in this though. I barely got my step target in and I didn’t exercise. Back on track with movement and no more excuses.
03/11- 353.8 There we go. I stayed on track with water and low on sodium. My nsv was getting back on track with movement too.

Day/Weight/Comment
3/4 - 177 - 97g carbs, 89g net carbs.
Carbs were: spinach, eggs, turkey kielbasa, cranberry cheddar, salad, breaded flounder, peanut butter, crackers (15)
3/5 - 174.4 - 5g carbs - eggs.
3/6 - 173 - 5g carbs - eggs. Tired. Poor sleep, active mind.
3/7 - 173.8 - 5g carbs - eggs. Holding a little fluid. A bit short on water yesterday. I drank my 2nd dose electrolytes at midnight, went to bed, developed a stomach ache.
3/8 - 172.6 - 9g carbs, 7g net carbs.
eggs, 1TB peanut butter
3/9 - 172.2 - 5g carbs - eggs
3/10 - 174.2 - An early weigh in as far as my fasting schedule. I'm experimenting going back to 12/12 for a week or two for a little break. Expected from increased carbs, but, seems that I haven't learned my lesson about drinking salty water late in the evening.😦 It's okay. 19g carbs, 14g net carbs. Carbs were: salad spaghetti squash, pesto, peanut butter (1.5 TB) YES to vegetables!
3/11 - 170.8 - 16g carbs, 12g net carbs. Carbs were: spaghetti squash, salad, pesto, strawberries. The temptation of the day, sweet potatoes with apricot and mango fruit spread, sprinkled with mace (spice) nutmeg and cinnamon and glazed with drizzles of honey! DH and I went to visit our son, DIL and our little huggables😄 I took lunch/dinner (Lunner, it was closer to lunch time) A baked salmon filet, those sweet potatoes and green beans. Pound cake w/strawberries and whipped cream. I cooked the night before and in the morning. I ate none of that, except for 3 strawberries. My lunch was ground beef and spaghetti squash. My want of starchy carbs is gone I think. GOOD!!

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

Mar 4 - 179.6 - thanks for starting a new thread Grandma. I need to buckle down and start losing, I seem to be maintaining very well but at the wrong weight.
Mar 5 - 176.2 - I’m not sure what is going on with all of these fluctuations. Maybe I need to change batteries in my scale.
Mar 6 - 176.4 - I tried three times today got 176.2- 176.0 and 176.4 .
Mar 7 - 178.2 - again I weighed 3 times.
Mar 8 - away no scale
Mar 9 - away no scale
Mar 10 - 182.0 I knew going away was a bad idea. A lot of this is sodium though.
Mar 11 - 178.6 that’s better.

I've been kinda lax lately but thankfully after 3 days of no weighing the scale was down a bit and not up a lot

Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!
Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.
FOR NEWBIES - I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all of the posts.

03/03 150.6 ~ (Steps 13,743) ~ My main focus for this round is making time for myself, doing what needs to move the scale the right way. This might sound selfish but for now it’s the only thing that’s will work unfortunately, 👍🏼
03/04 149.1 ~ (Steps 9,703) ~ Tough day but successful in no LNS, yay.
03/05 149.5 ~ (Steps 11,588) ~ I decided to go get my hair cut and colored, this helped my mood tremendously 👍🏼
03/06 150.6 ~ (Steps 18,781) ~ Even though the weight is back up, I had a marvelous day hitting all my goals.
03/07 149.6 ~ (Steps 16,588) ~ Unfortunately the scale isn’t dropping even when I am doing everything right.
03/08 149.6 ~ (Steps 14,767) ~ It was tough last night not to snack.
03/09 149.6 ~ (Steps 3,272) ~ I was supposed to see my grandkids but I only got at the most a couple hours of sleep, too much on the mind. I did let emotions get the best of me though.
03/10 x - (Steps 18,567) ~ My husband went to a table tennis tournament, since the day was gorgeous I spent the day outside getting lots of steps in.

03/04: 202.6 (I’m glad I started at a good number! I lost about 0.4 pounds since yesterday which never happens on a Monday morning. I’m hoping for a great start to the week! Last night I ate some soup and salad and did a 40 minute stepper workout.)
03/05: 201.2 (This drop was nice! I felt very energized last night to do my 2 workouts. One was 20 mins on the elliptical and the other was a core workout. I even made a nice oven fried chicken dinner too which is rare for a Monday since I usually do those on the weekend. I think all this working out is really affecting my energy level , in a good way, and I love it!)
03/06: 201.4 ( A slight increase which most likely has to do with an increase in exercise. On a weekly basis, I increase my minutes on the elliptical and the last two weeks this has been affecting my weight loss with most likely water weight because of my sore muscles. But I’ll stay the course and I’m sure one day the pounds will fall!)
03/07: 200.8 ( I did a short upper body strength training exercise last night and had a couple of slices of cheese pizza! I was very sleepy and I had a wonderful 7 hours of sleep. I’m so close to reaching my goal!)
03/08: 199.4 (wow! I’m finally in ONEderland!!! I cannot believe it. I’ve been trying to get to this number since before my wedding last July! I didn’t work out last night because I was spending time with the family. I ate BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes and Caesar salad last night from a local bbq joint but kept the portions small. I made my goal! Let’s hope it stays this low til the 13th. I always gain on the weekend.)
03/09: 199.6 ( I always expect an increase on the weekend. I did a 45 minute elliptical workout yesterday! My planned meal last night was half a chili burger and fries with some garlic edamame and banana milkshake. SO worth it! 😋)
03/10: 200.6 (I’m shocked I didn’t gain more than this! I had a lot of yummy food including a Chipotle vegetarian burrito. I also did a total body strength training workout yesterday. I usually gain more during the weekend so I think this is a victory for me.)
03/11: 200.6 (So happy I didn't gain! I'm 2 pounds down from last Monday and I think that's definitely a win for me! Monday's I'm heavier so I know I'll get to the 190's again pretty soon as long as I drink tons of water today! 2 more days left and I hope I'm at 199.8 by Wednesday morning. Last night I had some grilled garlic lemon chicken, broccoli and potatoes. I also did a 20 minute interval training workout on the elliptical.)

03/04: 177.1 I did not post the last three days of last round. I was on the road with no scale, then even after trying to stay low on sodium I was high. It was a rough weekend for me and now it's TOM. I'm traveling again this week so no scale until Thursday. I didn't walk all weekend. I have no excuse other than laziness and bad choices. I could have walked both Friday and Saturday but didn't make it a priority. Now I feel like a bloated slug. My boyfriend broke his wrist last week, which shouldn't be a big deal but he has multiple myeloma which makes his bones brittle and I'm afraid this is a foreshadowing of things to come. He knows it, I know it but we don't talk about it. This is TMI, this post is TMI on multiple levels but it is directly impacting my food and exercise choices. In a few days I'll be back on track and all of these terrible thoughts will be put on a back burner.
03/05 no scale I did ok on food yesterday though there were more chocolate calories than technically necessary but I was within calorie goal. I'm back in St. Louis for the week. I'm going to the gym tonight for weights and staying within calories. I bought a swimsuit so there will be Kris Water Aerobics probably tomorrow night.
03/06 no scale I did stay within calories and worked out last night. This training did allow us to pick our own lunches, which saved some calories but still not what I would choose on my own. Tonight walking or water aerobics? Can't decide maybe a little of both.
03/07 no scale Much better food day yesterday, fewer sweets and more veggies! I got in a 3.7 mile walk around a lake here in St. Louis. It was in the high 30's felt good when the sun was out, not so much otherwise. Driving home today with a stop on the Katy Trail for another walk, just trying to figure out the timing because I also have a webinar I'll have to do from the road. I try to turn my travel time into fun walking time instead of sitting my lazy butt in a hotel all night every night. Here is a pic of the frozen waterfall...
aua8mces6ge8.jpg
03/08 177.2 Well a couple days of eating out every meal will screw me on sodium every week. But my exercise has been on point this week and I know calories in/calories out should have me in a better place. Yesterday's walk was a trail closer to home (the timing did not work out, no Katy trail this week). It was nice, I'll go back. Since it was a Thursday at 4:00 pm and cold I didn't see another human being but lots of deer and about 1,000 squirrels. Definitely going outside tonight- it's supposed to be in the mid 40's. You know it's been a long winter when you're thinking it's going to be 45 degrees.... SWEEET heat wave!
03/09 177.9
03/10 177.2
03/11 176.2 Spent a rare and wonderful weekend with my BF. We only ate out once and I was very good that night. I walked 3 miles on Friday night and another 3 yesterday but nothing on Saturday. I weighed and tracked but did all that thru the phone, I hate posting in here with the phone because it is inconsistent and annoying. I would really like to be down more (of course) but I had such a good weekend that I'm not complaining. I took today off to do all the things I didn't get done. I'm not traveling this week so there is hope for a lower number

@MyEvolvingJourney I’m so sorry for your loss. Our fur babies are our other “kids” and no loss is easy.
@abowersgirl It was only one day. Special occasions are going to happen and you will survive as long as you get back on the train and don’t allow this to totally derail you. You’ve got this and we’ve got your back!
@LolaLaylola Try bumping your calories up a bit.
@whitej1234 You hiked — how was your eating? Did you drink enough water? Did you use muscles that are not used all the time? You are probably retaining water for muscle repair. And remember, you can’t put exercise your fork.

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
Round 70
3/4 130.0 Ate El Pollo Loco 2 piece dinner (chicken, broccoli, Loco salad with dressing, no tortillas,) 2 oz dry roasted peanuts, a handful of Mac’s Pork Cracklins. Water, coffee, diet soda. Below my pre-cruise weight!
3/5 130.0 Why am I craving dills, mayo, and cheddar???
3/6 130.0 I’m 69 years old and don’t recall ever hearing of Pancake Tuesday until yesterday! I hope everyone enjoyed!! Met Amy at the gym again yesterday. Don’t know what’s been wrong with my leg/hamstring? for the last 3 months but suspect a pinched nerve. Glad it’s feeling better but don’t want to overdo!
3/7 129.5. Didn’t meet Amy yesterday but plan to today. Going to Fiesta buffet tonight (BOGO) and music after(FREE.)
3/8 130.0 Good gentle walk with Amy yesterday. I’m hoping that just keeping moving will be a benefit. Carl has an appointment with his retina specialist and our friends are joining us for lun-ner this afternoon so no gym. Wish I could transfer some of my DVDs to a flash drive or micro card so I could use them when we travel without lugging the laptop or another device!
3/9 129.5 I have a meeting in an hour. I need to get moving. Blahhhh!
3/10 129.0 Developed a migraine from sun glaring off cars during the meeting. It subsided a bit but I didn’t feel really well and didn’t want to go to music. I ended up fasting for about 22 hours because I just didn’t feel well. Woke up this morning with what feels like a hangover but haven’t had a drink in a week. Today I am doing nothing. Starting “Beef and Butter fast” tomorrow.
3/11 129.0 Ate Popeye’s chicken yesterday so this may go up in spite of what I eat today. Went to the movies yesterday and for the first time EVER was NOT TEMPTED BY THE POPCORN AROMA!11 -

03/04 …..189.2 Yesterday’s stats: 2109 Calories In (out to breakfast) / 2374 Calories Out. 12,235 Total Steps & 5.18 Total Miles. No IF yesterday. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 15 minutes. No planned exercise .
03/05 …..188.9 ….. My Fitbit numbers were phenomenal yesterday! Yesterdays stats: 1135 Calories In / 3090 Calories out. 8 Net Carbs. 24,128 Total Steps & 10.22 Miles !!! Yay me! 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. IF 16:8 . I slept for 4 hours & 18 minutes. I walked at moderate pace for 93 minutes at the school. I danced for 71 minutes at home, all in one set. Sample song “Money for Nothing (I want my MTV) by Dire Straits.
03/06 ….. 188.7 ….. Yesterdays Stats: 1304 Calories In / 2346 Calories Out. 8 Net Carbs. 10,128 Steps & 4.28 Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. IF 16:8 . I slept 5 hours & 13 minutes. I danced for 27 minutes. Sample song “Nobody to Blame” by Chris Stapleton.
03/07 …..188.9 ….. Yesterday I burned 2302 Calories (but ate more I am sure). 8,488 Steps & 3.6 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Steps. No IF. Not enough water. I slept 5 hours 43 minutes. I danced a 15 minute set. Sample song “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga.
03/08 …..190.8 ….. I’m sure I am out of ketosis. I will be doing an Egg/Fat Fast starting today to kick myself & body in the behind & get back going. Thanks to Tish @tiabirdie56 for the invite to the fast, I am only too happy to join her. While she started days before me & may end today, I will use this tried & true method for at least 3 days. Pool Hall Potluck went well but the cheesy potatoes were my downfall. Best guess on Yesterdays Stats: 2010 Calories In / 2520 Calories out. 179 Net Carbs (ugg). 11,341 Total Steps & 4.8 Total Miles. IF 14:10. Slept 5 hours & 23 minutes. I danced a 40 minute set yesterday. Sample song “Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker (Hootie). Have a great weekend everyone. I’m going to remain hopeful & try hard to dedicate myself to the egg/fat fast. I will be thinking of all of you too.
03/09 …..189.2 ….. Down 1.6 overnight in a nice Whoosh! Egg/Fat Fast is working. I also increased my movement again big time. My level of exercise is pretty low at my age, in my region and with my overall health issues. But I rocked it in my own little world yesterday to help make this succeed. The only fail is that I was so busy & just didn’t drink enough water. I will try to fix that today. Yesterdays stats: 1115 Calories In / 3152 Calories Out. 6 Net Carbs. 21,535 Total Steps & 9.11 Total Miles. IF 16:8 . 13 /13 Fitbit Steps. I slept 5 hours & 17 minutes. For planned exercise I took a 90 minute walk inside the school (no mall here) which consisted of a 3 mile walk. I danced 62 minutes in one long set. Sample song “Sweet Home Alabama” by Leonard Skynard. Shakespeare wrote, “When words fail, music speaks. “ Have a safe & loving weekend everyone!
03/10 …..187.2 ….. Another Whoosh thanks to the Egg Fast. It is to be expected that some of the weight will return as I integrate back into my whole food plan, but if any stays off it’s a win! My downfall is that I continually do not drink enough water, or fluids of any kind. That can cause a quick weight gain when sodium is increased and added back in higher amounts after the fast. I MUST DRINK MY WATER & FLUIDS! Today is Sunday, my busy day at work. I should get my steps in easier, but again, time for fluids????? Yesterdays stats on Day 2 of my Egg Fast: 893 Calories In / 2492 Calories Out. 4 Net Carbs. 13,162 Total Steps & 5.58 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Steps. IF: 19:5 . I slept 5 hours & 47 minutes. I danced 59 minutes & the sample song was “California Dreamin’” by the Mamas & the Papas. I’m thinking of you @quiltingjaine on that one. Another great vibe to the song, but the right beat too.
03/11 ….. 186.6….. Yesterday was Egg Fast Day #3. I was hoping to lose more. Morning weight at start of Egg fast was 190.8. Ending on 186.6. I’ve lost 4.2 lbs. They typically say you should lose 5-10 pounds and I fell short. Followed this perfectly except that calories should be between 1000-1200 and two of the 3 days I did not reach the 1000. Could that have hurt it a bit? Not sure but I’ll take what I can get. I shed a lot of water on this 3rd day/night. Integrating slowly back in today to my regular keto eating plan so I will not gain too much back. Yesterdays Stats: 943 Calories In / 2640 Calories Out. 8 Net Carbs. 13,233 Total Steps & 5.6 Total Miles. IF 17:7. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 22 minutes. I danced 52 minutes . The sample song is “Manic Monday” by the Bangles.

10 -
Back again! March is a new month and a new start. Who knew having adult children was going to be more stressful than having teenage children. February was exhausting and I did not do well with my weight at all. Ended January at 148 and ended February at 153. Between TOM, a week in Las Vegas, and my stressful children, I am ready to get back on track. My 10 day goal is to get back in the 140's no matter what, which is very doable. I know most of this bloat and water weight should come off pretty easy.
03/04 - 154.9 fourth day in a row. I am finally done with TOM as of today and back on track with food. Looking forward to getting back in the 140's, so I am going to stay strong. I had no desire or will last week and it shows. Felt terrible most of the week and was exhausted. Thank goodness I only go through that every 3-4 months. Feeling motivated and in good spirits today and that will hopefully keep me motivated.
5 pounds to go to get back to the 140's
03/05 - 154.0 I thought it would be lower. Ate very low calorie yesterday, but did cave and have a couple of beers with my hubby. I had been kind of cranky the last couple of days towards him and was finally feeling better. So when he asked if I would have a drink with him, I kind of caved. It was nice sitting there, relaxing, cooking dinner, and just talking to him. I get super moody sometimes during TOM and my hubby pays the price, lol. He is really is a good man even though he drives me crazy sometimes. So on track so far today and no alcohol tonight. I should start seeing this water weight come off. I am expecting a pretty decent drop tomorrow.
4.1 pounds to go to be back in the 140's.
03/06 - 153.0 and down another pound. Don't know why my body is holding on to this weight this week. Usually TOM ends and within 3 days I'm down like 5 pounds. I usually will have 2 days that I lose 2 pounds easily each day. Of course this month that is not happening. Maybe tomorrow I will have a pretty good drop. Ate well under calories yesterday and had no alcohol. All I can do is trust the process and stay on track!
3.1 pounds to go to get back in the 140's
03/07 - 151.1 There we go! I new I had a pretty good whoosh coming soon. Did really well again yesterday calorie wise, water wise, and still no alcohol. My son has an orthodontist appt today, daughter has a doctors appt, and I have parent teacher conferences in between. Also came to work this morning to finish up a couple of things, so should be a pretty crazy day. Hopefully can follow through with my meals that I have planned at some point and stay on track. Would love to see another big whoosh tomorrow or Saturday to get back in the 140's. My goal this round was just to get back to 148/149 something. I was there 3 weeks ago before life took over and I lost all control, lol. So far doing way better than I had been doing! 6 more days to lose 1.2 pounds to see 140's again.
03/08 - 152.3 and the roller coaster continues. I kind of expected a little bump. I never ate anything until 5:00 last night. I was so busy and didn't want to stop and go through a drive through, so I just waited. Looking back I should have stopped and I probably would have been better off. By the time 5:00 rolled around we were at the bowling alley and I was starving. I didn't go crazy, I was well within calorie goals, but not a drop of it was by any means a healthy choice. I stayed with only 1 piece of pizza, some fries, and a couple of jalapeno poppers, but I also ended up having a couple of beers. I know my water intake was awful yesterday, because I spent most of the day in a car or dr offices or meeting with teachers. So back on track today and hopefully will see a drop tomorrow. 5 days to lose 2.4 pounds
03/09 - 151.7 I’ll take it. Did well all day yesterday. No alcohol last night, which on a Friday night not to have a beer is a real win in my book. Date night with the hubby and some friends from out of town planned for tonight. Also birthday lunch for my mama today, she’s 60, so that should be fun and then taking both my daughters for mani-pedis. Plus I need to get some grocery shopping done for the week. So busy day ahead of me. I feel like I have lost a ton of my bloat finally. Still 4 days left to lose 1.8 pounds to get back in the 140’s.
03/10 - NW - Because of the time change and we were out so late, didn't have time to weigh. We were already running late and had to meet a bunch of friends to go shooting. We had never taken the 2 youngest with us, so they were so excited to get out there and do some target shooting.
03/11 - 153.4 up a bit, normal weekend gain. I actually did way better than normal. Back to work today and meals are set. Had an amazing weekend, so busy and crazy, but tried to maintain calories. My alcohol consumption was way more than I planned Saturday night, but didn't have a drop of alcohol on Sunday. Still working towards my goal and should see a pretty good drop tomorrow. 2 days left to lose 3.5 pounds

Jumping in here part way through. Been trying to lose for awhile and keep going up and down. Have never posted weight publicly before. Hoping this will help me to stay in the game mentally. Taking this 10 lbs at a time.

03/04 - NW - I did two episodes of Zombies, Run! and intended to do another, but I needed to finish hooking a hat together for a trip today. However, I might cancel that trip due to ice on the sidewalks; I have no desire to end up with a broken hip. I will likely instead have lunch and do a Zombie, Run! Food is doing good.
03/05 - 306.2 - WHOOOSH! - About to have breakfast. My aide comes today. So, I will go for a walk after she leaves to avoid having to pace in the apartment. I'm not allowed to leave her alone in the apartment. I'm averaging two walks a day of Zombies, Run! I just wish it would consistently pick up my steps. I've increased my steps to 7,000.
03/06 - NW - Did two episodes of Zombies, Run! yesterday. Food is okay. I'm figuring out today as it is Ash Wednesday and therefore technically a fast day, but gotta eat with some of my meds. I will be going Mallwalking today. Woot! I have considered taking advantage and doing an episode while I'm there. I don't anticipate the mall will be very busy today which helps my anxiety. I plan on walking at least two episodes today.
03/07 - NW - Mallwalking went great yesterday. The last time I attempted I lasted 12 minutes. Yesterday I walked over an hour for 2.54 miles. My first full meal of the day was dinner and unfortunately it did not stay down. I redecorated my living area before I made it to the bathroom. Today I plan to get in at least one episode of Zombies, Run! I discovered yesterday the GPS will work in the community room but not in my pocket. I also have to fast the majority of the day due to lab work at 2, and the actual appointment is at 3. I'm seeing my endocrinologist today.
03/08 - 303.0 - Got my Zombies, Run! yesterday. I'll get in at least one, aiming for two episodes. It's Friday, so it's a day of fasting and no meat. I'll still have dinner as I take Latuda and it needs a minimum of 350 calories to work. I have a couple of groups to attend today, but then I'll head back home. I'll do some cleaning today as well.
03/09 - NW - I walked one episode of Zombies, Run! yesterday and the story had an interesting turn to it. Today I plan to do two to three episodes. I struggled yesterday to hit my step and am considering not increasing it on Monday. I'm not sure another increase will benefit me at this point vs stress me out in trying to reach it right before bedtime. It's warmer today but raining so no walking outside today. Maybe tomorrow I can walk outside with a light jacket on, if it's not too windy.
03/10 - 301.2 - Woohoo! Going well. Did two Zombies, Run! yesterday. I did not hit all my active hours, partly due to talking to a friend, but she's in a bad place right now and needs someone. Food is on point; however, I am running out of lettuce, boo. I will have to plan for that this week. I see my dietitian in the morning and I think she will be pleased. It's supposed to be my rest day, so I may or may or may not do Zombies, Run! episode(s) today. I'm not going to push myself too hard. Just gonna chill.
03/11 - NW - I was supposed to see my dietitian today, but my CSS got confused on the dates thinking the 11th was tomorrow. So, I rescheduled for Friday afternoon. I was so furious. I had to walk right away to get the frustration out, but they were doing a blood pressure thing in the community room; so, I paced back and forth in my apartment. I plan on walking again later, just more calmly.

30th Round for me: Female 66, height 5’
Goal this round, starting March 4: To get out of the 160’s or at least consistently not above 160.
Have been feeling a little on the hungry side all last round so was expecting to see a drop – but not yet. Figured out my BMR and realized that even at 1200 cals. I am only at a slight deficit (300) so that being sloppy on counting, having a little treat or two, puts me at maintenance. Checked what I’d put into MFP at the beginning and discovered - exercise 30 min./day. That was because I had my dog at that point and had to walk her at least that each day; usually it was 45 – 60. min. Now I go to the gym and exercise much harder but only 2 or maybe 3 times a week. So my goal this round is to add that 30 min. of exercise every day in some form and get to bed by 11:30.Round 39 (1st for me) – SW 163, -.2Round 70 – 162.2 start weight

03/04 – 162.2
03/05 – 162.2 - Gym yesterday. Felt totally unmotivated this morning until I read everyone's posts which got my head in the right space. Determined to keep plodding until I find what works.
03/06 – 161.6 – Nice to see it going down. I so do not feel like going to the gym today – nice to have a little boost to motivate.
03/07 – 161.6
03/08 – 160.8 – So nice to see this number. Finally measured my waist yesterday and I am down 1.5 inches from a year ago

03/11 – 160.8 – Stressful day yesterday but avoided emotional eating. Had some chocolate but dark and within limits and, surprisingly, was not craving more. Slowly changing my “this is what’s normal” eating patterns to something more temperate.

Day/Weight/Comment
03/04 155.7, new week, new month. I’m feeling confident I can get to my goal of 152 by the end of the month.
10,832 Steps, 35 minutes of exercise, 72 oz of water
03/05 155.5, today is Mardi Gras and I am giving up chips and cereal for lent (my two snacking vices so might indulge a bit in both of those). Tomorrow, I am going to do two small meals and will be meat free on Fridays.
8927 steps, 60 minutes of exercise, 72 oz of water
03/06 155.5, I’ll take being the same weight since the weather has been terrible here with rain and high winds. I love walking for errands so it’s been challenging getting steps in with the weather. Today I’m going to fast for Ash Wednesday. I normally take a basic strength class on Wednesday’s but will take it on Saturday instead bc too intense for a fasting day.
17,002 steps, 60 minutes of exercise, 72 oz of water
03/07 154.4, was not expecting that drop and it could be that I only had a couple small meals yesterday because it was Ash Wednesday, but I am so excited to finally see a number under 155
3,653 steps, 0 minutes of exercise, 48 oz of water
03/08 154.7, had such a busy day at work that I couldn’t do much of anything yesterday. Will make it to gym today and be better at walking and drinking water
13,798 steps, 70 minutes of exercise, 64 oz of water
03/09 154.5, going to the movies today and will try to avoid the popcorn stand! Off to the gym now since finally have a break in the rain. I can’t wait for the rain to stop this winter.
03/10 155, did not avoid popcorn stand yesterday, but it was so worth it! Back to dieting today
03/11 155, have all my meals prepped today and the water bottle ready. I didn’t drink a lot of water this weekend. so will go closer to 100 oz today. The weather finally looks like it is turning a corner so my steps will be up in round 7.

GOALS THIS ROUND reporting on all the "yesterdays":- under calorie goal 9/10 days: 4/10 so far
- over 10K steps 9/10 days: 5/10 so far
- three strength workouts: 1.5/3 so far
- five cardio workouts: 2/5 so far
3/4 - 134.6 - yesterday wildly over calories, a stress-tired-emo eating day. 5K steps.
Today starting a wellness campaign at work where my goal is 10K steps a day, 5 servings of veg and fruit.
3/5 - 133.4 - yesterday under calorie goal, 12K steps including a 2 mile run with my new (canine) running buddy. Raining today, so getting steps in may be a challenge. Gonna try for 30 flights of the basement stairs at work.
3/6 - 133.4 - yesterday under calorie goal, 10K steps, nice walk at lunchtime. Did 20 flights of stairs, trying for the full 30 today.
3/7 - 132.2 - yesterday under calorie goal, 10K steps, did not manage any stairs since I got absolutely nailed to my desk by emergencies; however got a nice bodyweight strength workout in at home.
3/8 - 133.0 - yesterday a smidge over maint, 13K steps and a run with dogger. Fell running and got some rad rash on my knee... going to work in skinny jeans , which are literally all I have, is unappealing
3/9 -132.8 - yesterday under calorie goal, 7K steps and a few sets of pushups/crunches. Knee a little swollen and stiff but no serious damage.
I owe my strong bones to all the running I did in my 40's and 50's, and tripping while I run is the price I have paid maybe a dozen times ... not coordinated ... I feel like I will be falling in my 80's and NOT breaking bones (in spite of all my osteo risk factors), and saying, thanks younger me for getting on with strength workouts and running! Weight bearing exercise is the BOMB, and in addition, gets me a lot more calories a day to eat!
3/10 -133.0 - yesterday 9K steps but over maintenance calories by 150 ... I did great till evening when I was tired. A few small strength exercises but knee still stiff and sore so nothing heavy duty yet.
3/11 - 133.8 - yesterday violently over calories, eating to flee an illumination and comfort the unexpected 4 hours at work. Eventually got the illumination anyway and feeling so much better today! 6500 steps, did take a walk with dog but knee definitely still sore from the fall last week.

Hi. I'm joining back in for this round late! Why wait for the next one when you can start today!
OSW 199 (June 15 2018)
Female, 5' 4 1/2 " age 53
This is my seventeenth round. I have been out of touch for a few weeks. After helping chaperone my son's theater trip to NYC, I got appendicitis! The timing was perfect, as I neither missed the trip, nor had to have my appendix out in New York, but safely made it back home with a burgeoning stomach ache--which sent me to the ER the following day! I decided to go ahead and join now, as I've missed you all. I only sort of caught up on your posts, sorry for all that I have missed!

I'm a newbie here, but happy to try this challenge to see if it can motivate me a little more!
Start weight: 152lb Aug 2010
Goal weight: 132lb
Current weight: 141.5lb - it has been a long and slow journey with too many sweet things and food impulses on the way! Have eaten off track this weekend - girls round to mine for dinner!! Still eating leftovers!!
Day/Weight/Comment
03/04 – 143.6lb – I’m up, but knew I would be, as I was eating the left-overs from Saturday’s girl’s night which I hosted! I went for a 70s theme – prawn cocktail, duck a l’orange with steamed veg, finishing with baked Alaska! Unfortunately, I’m not so good at chucking away food. Today was better though, with a good breakfast, salad for lunch and salmon curry with rice for dinner. OK, I did have a couple of sandwiches in the afternoon. But, my NSV was instead of raiding the cupboards before going out to the gym, I read some people’s threads and thought better of it! Thanks!!!
03/05 – 143.2lb – down slightly, but could have been up so much more if I hadn’t read the threads on this page! It was a busy day at work, with no time for a proper evening meal, so had a hot lunch. It was ok but I would have preferred to have had a hot evening meal at home instead! Just had 1 and a half pancakes in recognition of Shrove Tuesday. My husband kindly made these without much oil in the pan, he then swore because the batter stuck to the pan! I was just grateful for a cup of tea and a pancake!
03/06 – 141.6lb – perhaps I should eat 1.5 pancakes more often!!! Or perhaps I should stay at work and eat hot lunch instead of evening meal at home?! Off to combat soon and a bit more walking to ensure I get my 10,000 steps done!
03/07 – 142.5lb – not sure how I could be a pound up, as I worked hard at body combat and did get my steps in! Perhaps it’s a one day lag from eating pancakes on Tuesday? Eating out tonight – walking there and back to a pub about 1.5 miles away. Did come back and have a couple of brandies though!
03/08 – 142.2lb – despite eating out last night (including cheese and chips, but no wine!) I’m down a little bit. Not enough mind! Did have a couple of chocolate biscuits at work – just because they were there!!! Eating at home tonight, but I am enjoying a naughty glass of wine – the scales will punish me tomorrow! I am good at self-sabotage!!
03/09 – 142.5lb – had porridge for breakfast and had an indulgent cheese and tuna toastie for lunch. Managed to get my target for 10,000 steps completed and managed to do slightly over!
03/10 – 141.9lb – got up reasonably early for a swim. I always mis-count so did extra to ensure I did 40 lengths. I actually did 42! Breakfast was lovely with a couple of poached eggs on a piece of unbuttered wholemeal toast with a side order of baked beans. Would love to get below 140lb – I exercise an ok amount, so it must be my portion control and self-sabotage!
03/11 – 143.4lb – Grrrr! Always seem to put on at the weekend. Perhaps I need to drink more water and be more aware of what I am eating, rather than just going with the flow and helping for the best!!!
@ JillMarieRonkko – I don’t know if you’ve had lots of help from others, but I would recommend acupuncture. It’s doing wonders for me!

March 04: 203.8 - Down a bit from my “TOM bump” but still 0.8 above my low. 📈

March 09: 202.6 - Fiiiiiiinally! 📉
March 10: 202.6 - The scale taunted me today, flickering lower for a moment. I’m just glad the drop has stuck! 🤷🏻♀️
March 11: 202.4 - Hey, there’s that lower number! ☺️
March 12: 202.8 - Not surprised; we had a salty dinner last night. My calves were trying to cramp overnight so I know I was dehydrated. Starting with a L of water this morning. 💦
