You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. - John C. MaxwellMy goal for 2019 is to get into ONEderland. Changing my life.Round 71: This round I need to stay focused on my monthly goal even though I’ll not have a scale to step back on until 3/26! The number of the scale moves up and down whether or not I'm stepping on it daily for the reminder. Reminder to self to continue tracking streak, reduce snacking on poor choices, drink more water and be active every day in some way shape or form!
Plans:
- Find workout routine that works (walk, bike, planks, yoga, swim, take advantage of retirement to be more active); target 70k steps per week
- Drink more water (target min 64 oz daily; start with 1 glass before coffee)
- Journal Food Daily (tracking with MFP since 12/28/2018)
- Daily Vitamins (Dr’s orders; need to not ignore)
- Drink less alcohol (4 AF days per week; ~16 AF days per month; limit 1-2 glasses per day)

3/14 - 234.2 - walked 2+ miles, bike 10 min, gardened, 10240 steps, 64 oz water, track, V, AF. Poor choice for lunch and the bump on the scale shows it … Popeyes 2 piece chicken dinner w/ cajun rice & biscuit.
3/15 - 233.5 - walked 1+ mile, yoga, plank, hand weights, gardened, 13164 steps, 64 oz water, track, AF. Pasta for lunch & dinner … bad choice. Really pushed myself to get the yard in shape M-Th this week!
3/16 - 232.7 - walked 1+ mile, bike 15 min, 8298 steps, 48 oz water, track, AF.
3/17 - 233.5 - hiked Bull Creek, 9455 steps, 48 oz water, track, V. Car ride to/from Austin. Too much pasta and pumpkin cookies over the past 3 days.

Had a lot of salt yesterday, and I woke up super sore today. It's going to be a struggle to get my steps in.

I think I dropped my water weight! Just in time for the weekend shenanigans 😁 I probably won't be weighing until Monday, but I'll keep you posted. I have a date tonight and tomorrow I'm going into San Francisco for my friend's birthday and some dancing. I'll be back late Sunday but probably too late to weigh, so I'll weigh on Monday.

03/18 137.3 (up 2.4 lbs) t = 137.2
This was my first time in months not worrying about what I was eating. I didn't even track along at each meal but instead did it at the end of the day. But this was a good lesson for me to learn while I have the accountability of all of you. That the sooner I get back on the horse (the horse being the scale and calorie counting) the easier it is to take off the couple pounds I put on. I had so much fun enjoying food and not worrying. So I think as long as it's only one or two days, and I'm at my goal weight, I'm going to let these instances happen.
03/19 135.4 t = 137
Darn my trend sure isn't budging. The line is still going up. I don't know of it'll ever reach my goal weight. And my new fitbit already started acting funny. It no longer wants to connect to the app so I don't have any updates ugh. I'm gonna have to call today. Have any of you ever had this problem? I have a flex 2.

SW 147.9
Challenge GW - a loss of some sort. This is my first one so want to see what's doable in 10 days
UGW- 135-ish. Trying not to make a number goal, more so determining how I feel when I get mid -130's.
5'6' female 41 years old
03/14 - 147.9 exact same as yesterday! Wins: I logged all of my food for the first time in ages, was 50 calories over my target so not bad for the first day. Drank a lot of water. "Rest" day from the gym but walked at lunch and logged 11,257 steps.
03/15 - 147.3. Wins: Tracked my food, was about 150 calories over my target but I'm ok with that for the first few days of this challenge. Just getting back in to the tracking habit is what I'm looking for. Drank a lot of water. Took 45 min cycling class, and also logged 10,658 steps on top of that.
03/16 - 146.2. I know this is water weight since I just started this week but it’s nice to see! Fully expect fluctuations from
this point on. Wins: tracked food and was at my calorie goal. Drank a lot of water. Took 45 min bodycombat class and ended day with 13,237 steps (about 5000 of those were from the class). Got to bed early for a decent night’s sleep.
03/17 - 147.9 - well that’s embarrassing. But I knew it would happen. Wins yesterday: took a really hard 55 min HIIT class (so sore today!), got a good night’s sleep, hydrated well, tracked food. We had a family get together and I ate almost double my calorie goal. Not proud of that. I don’t have any discipline when there is an abundance of food around. Got 8600 steps - even though I did a tough workout I still aim for 10,000 steps a day and missed that mark. Will do better today!
03/18 - 147.9. UGH I seem to be stuck here! I'm worried with work travel on 3/21-22 that I'm not going to lose anything this round. Wins yesterday: 6 mile run at a pace faster than I expected. Ended up with 22,323 steps (Also walked the dog and took my daughter to the mall - on my feet a lot!). Tracked my food, was over my calorie goal but still a deficit due to my activity level. Got a good night's sleep. Area for improvement today - more water. Did not drink enough for my activity level yesterday.
03/19 - 147.5. Down at least, not much this challenge but I'm learning some things. Wins yesterday: 4 mile run, ended up with 18,909 steps. Tracked food, a little over my goal but not by much. Area for improvement - still water. I thought I drank enough but felt really thirsty around bedtime so I guess not.

Hi-I’m Karen
Sept. 2018 OSW 187 (Was my Round #1)
UGW 135.....yes, 135!
Goal this round-159-hopefully! I got down to 162 last round.
3/14-166- I upped my walking miles yesterday, it made me super hungry, I made tomato/feta soup and forgot to be drinking water....
3/15-163- It was so nice here yesterday, I went for a big walk in the morning and then a short one after dinner-that helps.
3/16-No Scale

3/18-167-Long hours traveling to a funeral. It was great to see family. It was nice to pick anything out I wanted to wear, because now, everything fits.
3/19-165-Back to walking a couple of times a day-the dogs love it and we have another warm day before it rains tomorrow.

03/14 177.1 Stayed withing calories and walked 4 miles last night. It was 64 degrees and sunny after being SUPER rainy all morning. It was a great walk and a good dinner after. I had hoped to see something a little lower this morning but I guess not.
03/15 176.9 Sure I saw 175 but only briefly, damn flirty scale. Walked 3.5 on the treadmill at the gym. Made sure I was under the HGTV screen because at least it's something interesting to watch while I'm walking hooked up my headphones and boom - the channel goes out. Talk about first world problems. I should be able to walk outside this afternoon at 47 and sunny. Happy Friday all! Here's to good choices this weekend.
03/16 No Scale but I walked Friday night and Saturday.
03/17 177.7 I hate this weight. I've been here for approximately 20 days and another 10 days at an even higher weight. Spent the day babysitting my niece who was cranky, she is not enjoying being weaned.
03/18 177.5 I feel like I need to change things up. I have been at this same basic weight for a month. It's super frustrating. I need to think about what to do. Keeping my head down and doing the same thing isn't working and it's time to address that. I spent yesterday going thru all my winter clothes and donated 2 bags. It occurred to me that I probably have no summer/spring clothes that fit me. Lots of big comfy tshirts but I don't know if I have a single pair of capris or shorts that will fit. I know it's just March but shopping season never ends
03/19 No Scale Traveling again. I decided to eat maintenance for a few days to give myself a break. Still exercising and tracking but I set my calories at 1700 and I'm not going to freak out about it. I got in 3 miles last night though not on the cool trail. I'm going to try to do the cool trail tomorrow on the drive home. Tonight is weights, I upped several weights last week and was a little sore, we'll see how it goes tonight.

Day/Weight/Comment
03/14: 197.8 (Yay for a new challenge! I weighed in heavier than yesterdays weight (197.4), but it has to do with my increased exercise last night which was 45 minutes on the elliptical sweating buckets. I had a small cheese quesadilla last night with chips and salsa for dinner. My official weigh in is on Friday's, so I'm excited to see what my results are tomorrow. Oh by the way, my weight today is the lowest I have weighed since September of 2015!! I almost cried.)
03/15: 197.8 (Same weight as yesterday, but that's okay! My official weigh in day is on Friday's and from last Friday I have lost 1.6 pounds. That makes me very happy! I did an upper body strength training workout and I'm a little sore. I had baked fries and homemade Philly cheesesteaks last night which were awesome!
03/16: 197.6 ( A little bit of a drop! I did no workout last night and had a nice big burrito for dinner haha. I can’t workout til tomorrow since I just got my first laser hair removal session today. I’ll be doing an hour workout tomorrow evening to offset today. Have a nice weekend!)
03/17: 198.6 (this gain was lower than expected! I only had half a beer last night for a little st Patrick’s day celebration which is a win for me. I ate less than what I planned for since I save calories for the weekends. I’m also 2 pounds less than last Sunday!)
03/18: 200.0 (I worked out for an hour yesterday doing 45 minutes of elliptical training and 15 minutes of total body training. Most of the time, when I workout hard I see a gain the following day. I also ate at a deficit. At least I'm 0.6 pounds less than last Monday! I'm hoping for a great week, even though TOM is visiting on Friday. Let's do this!)
03/19: 199.4 (A small drop this morning but a little less than usual. I did a 20 minute HIIT workout on the elliptical and a 15 minute core workout. My legs are a little on the sore side! Last night I had a Grocery store Asian takeout night complements of Trader Joe's I also may be holding on to some sodium and water weight for TOM on Friday! I'm curious to see what the effects would be of all this by the end of the challenge.)

03/14 - 149
Today's my 27th wedding anniversary - yay us! We're going out, of course, but I have my meal planned and it's well within bounds. I also plan to hit the gym. I figure this is as good a day as any to start over.
03/15 - 149.4
That’s ok. We had a nice celebration yesterday and I went slightly over calories, but not bad. Off to the Y in a bit to work it off.
03/16 - 148.8
I've been trying to lay off the baking, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to make Irish soda bread or scones for tomorrow. At least I'm not planning to make Guinness brownies! Have a great weekend, all!
03/17 - 147.6
Finally going the right direction again. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I made soda bread yesterday for St. Gertrude's Day (patron saint of cats - much more appealing than grumpy old St. Patrick!) and, I confess, I ate a little more than I should have -- but with low-cal cabbage soup, so balance, balance.... My campaign to stop snacking at night has fallen short over the weekend, too, so I'm back to my "write it down first" project to try to get a grip. I'd do something with my hands while watching Netflix - knit, for instance - but I have a kitten who wants to help. Have a good week, all!

Day/Weight/Comment
3/14 - 171.2 - 20g carbs, 15g net carbs. Carbs were: steamables golden potatoes (6.5gcarb), salad, deli smoked turkey, manzanilla olives, cucumber ranch dressing, au jus sauce. Okay, my weight has settled here for today. Probably that tiny potato 😂 Dinner was 2 hours later than I planned, due to this HUGE chuck roast I was cooking. It took 2+ hrs in the pressure cooker! with a couple of stops and starts to check it during the process. Should have put the 2nd weight on the pot.
3/15 - 172.2 - 32g carbs, 26g net carbs. Carbs were: salad, olives, dill pickle, grape tomatoes, jalapenos, peanut butter, almonds, walnuts, deli smoked turkey. A little fluid retention..... from exercise, not carbs! Knee is behaving, so back to strengthing quads and hams. Taking it low and slow, but consistently. I'm dealing with old shoulder injuries too, so must not be impatient with myself trying to do sets, reps and long workouts like I used to do.
3/16 - 173 - Normal fluctuation. 35g carbs, 27g net carbs. Carbs were: Strawberries, salad, peanut butter, celery, carrot, apple in chicken salad, cranberry cheddar, spaghetti squash, au jus sauce. Did not take vitamins 2 days, Th, F.
3/17 - 171.2 - 38g carbs, 28g net carbs. Too much peanut butter! Need B's. I did take my vitamins. Carbs were: green beans, au jus sauce, olives, deli smoked turkey, peanut butter.
Carb count increased from peanut butter.
3/18 - 171 - 26g carbs, 19g net carbs. Carbs were: eggs, spinach, salad, strawberries, peanut butter, sundried tomato dressing. It's going to be a slow roll with some backtracking out of the 170's. That was my normal pattern of weightloss before October 2018. Now I've buckled down and become conscious of the issues holding me in this decade for so long. With humbleness, prayer, guidance and thankfulness, I'm certain that I will exit this learning phase successfully. ☺
3/19 - 171.2 - 21g carbs, 16g net carbs. Carbs were: peanut butter, spinach and peppers as toppings on chicken crust pizza. Not very hungry yesterday, only ate 2/3 of allotted calories. If it wasn't for the peanut butter it would have been closer to 1/3!

My target for the round is to lose something - ideally be at 149 or less .....
Friends over from the US this weekend which will involve a few drinks and meals out so this weekend may not be pretty on the scales then but nothing other than that.
Need to get back into the losing mind set........... and staying accountable to myself by being on here is probably a good place to start
Start of round 150.6lb
14/03 - 150.0 (down 0.60lb) happy with that start thank you scales!
15/03 - 149.9 (down 0.1lb)
16/03 - DNW - didnt actually get home till 530am after a great night catching up with friends
17/03 - DNW - got a lay in and brought tea in bed
18/03 - DNW - totally forgot
19/03 - DNW - chucked out the bathroom this morning by my daughter! But still hopeful for 149 by the round end. Either got a lay in, totally forgot or else rushed out the bathroom before getting chance to weigh! Not doing very well with my intention for this round of being on here and being accountable to myself..... Promise to myself to remember to weigh tomorrow - still 4 days of the round to go

# 7 for me
GW end of round – 372
GW 299 – End of 2019 (6.2)
Day/Weight/Comment
03/14 378.4 (-0.4) – My goal this round is to focus, focus, focus! No more red rounds! My goal is to lose 4 to 6 pounds per round. If I don't lose that much no worries – I am not beating myself up. But I am determined not to have any more red rounds! I can do that at least! So to help me do that, I reset my ticker yesterday to my 2019 start weight, which I am over by 5.4 pounds. I have really been struggling but I am going to try to come out of this slump because life is just not getting any easier as we struggle in these trying times. My goal this year is lose 50 to 75 pounds and to do that I am really going to have to buckle down. My ticker is set for 75 but I will gladly take 50 plus in a heartbeat and nothing less than that for sure. I think having something already on the ticker is not helping me so I am trying something new. I have to keep trying and trying until I get it right!
My Dad is doing pretty good considering he is in hospice in a nursing home. In February it has been over year. Life goes on, so I have to find a way to make me a priority also. Baby steps
I am also working on increasing my sleeping hrs per night. I am happy to say this week I have slept 3 days since Monday over 7 hrs! I have not slept 7 hrs 3 nights in a week in a loooong time, so I am proud of that and I am going to try to keep it going because this helps me for sure.
I am really going to try to check in here more often too. That too will help me because I will be more mindful. I will read something to inspire, etc. The rounds I lost -- I checked in more also. Even if I don't have time to comment every day, I want to log my weight at least.
03/15 378.4 (-0.0) – Went over my points but did my exercise and got my 7000 steps. Short on sleep but feeling great and back on it today. Pre-planning for weekend so I can maintain or even lose a pound or more. We will see. I usually make my goal for weekend to maintain or not to gain. If I do that I am doing good. Past weekends I have blown my whole week on the weekend. Now I can maintain and even lose. I may go up one day and come right back down the next because I try not to have 2 or 3 bad days if you include Friday.
03/16 374.8 (-3.6) - yesterday I resisted fast food after visiting my Dad in nursing home. Came home, had some eggs and grits. I also decided this morning to switch WW plans. I going to online only which will save me $25 a month since I am not going to meetings anyway but I love their points program. Right now the meetings are not in the plan for me and I rather use God, family, MFP and my therapist who I see Tuesday for my support system for now. That is my new plan for now. Giving up is not an option for me!
03/17 373.6 (-1.2) - I got in my 7000 steps yesterday. Since I was over my WW points yesterday, I was surprised I was down today. I think I may be up tomorrow. Not sure since I did eat a lot of protein and hardly any carbs. Back on track a little bit today. But I know I will be down overall this weekend for sure -- so a win win.
03/18 372.6 (-1.0) - This week has been awesome. Since last Monday I have lost over 8 pounds! Finally consistently going down. I have revamped my game plan going forward and feeling good. Now to just keep the consistency going is the real challenge. But I am going to do it! Glad to finally wipe out the gain for this year and see the 1 pound on my ticker. I got in another 7 hours of sleep last night too. Sleep is a key factor for me. It helps me stay focused. I can definitely tell the difference when I get in those zzz’s!
03/19 369.6 (- 3.0) - Now to stick the new decade! Yay! I know this is going to slow down but I am going to enjoy every minute of it for now and try to keep it going as long as I can. lol

DAY - WEIGHT - COMMENT
03/14 - 79,3 kg - starting off strong but this might be because my stomach was upset and I *TMI* had to run to the bathroom multiple times last night we'll see what tomorrow says! Also because I've been under 80kg for 3 days now I'm gonna say I succeeded at my first mini goal!
03/15 - 78,9 kg - okay I guess yesterday was still semi-representative! happy about this. also stopped myself from binging yesterday night so that's good!
03/16 - 78,9 kg - didn't expect a drop from yesterday because I already had been dropping quite a lot quite fast the past couple of days. tonight will be difficult because i'm eating out fast food with some friends, so reminder to myself: don't beat yourself up if there's a gain tomorrow morning haha.
03/17 - 79,4 kg - breathe and move on.
03/18 - 78,8 kg - there we go, back to normal! don't know if my goal this round is possible but we'll just keep doing our thing!

Day/Weight/Comment
03/14 157.8 Road trip, not the best eating.
03/15 157.2 Visiting with friends today but going to keep my goals in mind.
03/16 157.2 No gains after vacation, I'll take it! With 7 days left in this challenge, I will need to buckle down on my eating. I want to see those 2.4 lbs GONE! Maybe I'll finally load up one of the beachbody workouts I'm paying for every month, ha.
03/17 157.2. I'm stuck here, it seems. For 3 days in a row. I did finally start PiYo yesterday and am committed to doing another "workout" today. By workout, I mean I made it through the intro section that shows you how to do all the moves. It was challenging enough for me, that's for sure! Today, I'm fighting Sunday habits/cravings with my family: usually, we get donuts or breakfast burritos and sugary coffees. None of that for me today! Keeping tomorrow's weigh-in in mind.
03/18 156.6. Down 1.2 lbs so far! Maybe I can get another .8 off the scale in the next 5 days. Seems doable! Yesterday I made good choices and avoided the Sunday sugars, so I'm feeling accomplished all of a sudden. I'll call it a NSV.
03/19 156.6 Yesterday was my first time trying to log a more complicated homemade meal, and I took the time to input every ingredient of the Shepherd's pie so I knew exactly how much of a serving I could have. This is classic comfort food, and I proved to myself that I can eat what I enjoy and stay within my limits. I'll be running errands all day today so likely eating out, but I'm not worried. Just have to log everything.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

03/13 …..186.6….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
03/14 …..185.8 ….. Nice to see a drop again. Like some of the others I feel very sore from a lot of the exercise. I may decrease the amounts today and allow a little rest to these old bones & muscles. I will spend the time prep cooking for my freezer. I may skip going to the potluck/pool hall that I attend on Thursdays. We will see. Yesterdays stats: 1089 Calories In / 2795 calories out. 12 Net Carbs mostly in veggies. 21,329 Total Steps & 9.03 Total Miles. I wanted to IF 12:12 (two week metabolism reset plan) but found that I’m just too busy at my planned starting time due to my work schedule. Today I will attempt again but at a bit of a later starting time. My IF yesterday was 16:8. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I charged my Fitbit while sleeping so no exact tracking on sleep, but my best clock estimate was just over 5 hours. I walked 112 minutes inside the school and danced for 51 minutes on my make-believe dance floor in my livingroom. Sample Song “Everyday People” by Sly & the Family Stone. Good luck this round everyone. I have read all the posts in this new round up until my own & you guys have already put me in a motivated and terrific mood. I feel empowered! Thanks Everyone!
03/15 …..185.6 ….. I skipped the pool hall & potluck last night & focused on the flooding in our area. Because my home is on a slab, the danger of it getting into my house is real so I bailed water until 4:00 a.m. It also rained & that was not helping. I have a new ground drain outside but it is frozen over or buried so I could not find it. Today will also be challenging. I hope to find it before I travel this week or I will come home to a sunken ship! We still have about 8 inches of snow across the grass & large hills along the sidewalks & driveways. Sunny days are causing the meltdown. If it is not too sunny today I would like to get down to the school to walk again. Yesterday’s stats: 1054 Calories In / 2145 Calories Out. 13 Net Carbs. 16,275 Total Steps & 6.89 Miles. IF 12:12 . 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 33 minutes and was up early to start bailing the water. I am very angry right now that my husband died on me 3 years ago. I walked a short walk of 11 minutes & I danced for 33 minutes. Sample song “Faith” by George Michael. Have a great weekend everyone. And please, stop one moment & say a prayer that I find that ground drain & get it unfrozen & drinking in the water & melting snow.
03/16 …..185.6 ….. I never found the ground drain myself for the flooding. I finally thought to call the man who put it in & he guided me by phone & bam, found it! Thanks for the hugs & prayers that led me back to the plumber. Cold & gloomy again but waiting for the meltdown & ready this time. Yesterday’s stats: 1264 Calories In / 2640 Calories Out. 19 Net Carbs. 15,616 Total Steps & 6.42 Total Miles. IF 12:12. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I Slept for 5 hours & 23 minutes and am feeling very tired today. Really dragging butt. I took a moderate paced walk around my property for 13 minutes yesterday & I danced for 63 minutes in one long set. Sample song “Mockingbird” by Carly Simon & James Taylor. Such a good groove/vibe to get into! Not enough water lately. I’ve got to try harder on that front. It affects everything.
03/17 …..186.4 ….. What the heck? I have no idea how it went up 0.8 . I’ve done everything right! I do have a new recipe that I used in prep cooking which I’ve eaten a couple of times from the freezer. I wonder if I’ve imputed the ingredients properly for the correct calorie & carb information. I am going to put the recipe in again today & see what happens. Maybe I’ve been going over my macros without knowing it! Not much sleep last night so that didn’t help. Also, not enough water again so no BM again. All are factors. Yesterdays stats according to what I thought I knew: 1190 Calories In / 2680 Calories out. 21 Net Carbs. 14,307 Total Steps & 6.05 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours. IF 12:12. I slept 2 hours & 43 minutes but am actually feeling pretty good right now. I walked at moderate pace for 29 minutes & I danced for 48 minutes with my son! Sample song “Dream no More” by Metallica. Warning/Disclaimer = It’s a heavy metal song that he picked. Not my groove but it worked for us. Happy Sunday everyone!
03/18 …..187.6 ….. I Obviously enjoyed St. Patty’s Day yesterday showing an additional gain this morning to go along with unexplained weight gain still lingering from the day before as well. I double checked my recipes & they are correct so I’m not sure what is going on (prior to the celebrations) which showed a mysterious gain. Trusting the process. Yesterday’s stats (making things worse) had too many calories to count, easily 2500 is my guess. Unknown carbs. Fitbit information is as follows on all else: 2390 Calories burned. 11,300 Total Steps & 4.78 Total Miles. IF 12:12. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 47 minutes & had an early weigh-in this morning. No planned exercise yesterday but had to work until late afternoon yesterday so I got my steps in before any celebrations began. Have a great week everyone. I will read your posts as able & see you when I get back!
03/19 ….. ….. Travel-no scale. Will log & post as able. Travel going well but so much sitting! I will try to do a little walking today. For those of you just getting to know me, I live in a very rural area. We have one grocery, a gas station that still pumps our gas for us. A Pharmacy, one dollar store and some Amish stores such as lumber and general store. 2 Family restaurants & a McDonald’s built just a few years ago. We also have one pizza place with, of course, no delivery available. No stores, no strip malls, no big malls, no plazas. Our school house is one building for headstart through 12th grade. The average amount of students to graduate each year is about 12 kids. To get to towns that have Chinese food, Mexican food, Italian Food, dairy queens, donut shops or bakeries, even a walmart is such a joy. To see things like KFC, Arbys, Burger King, Wendys, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell is Wow wow wow. It has, thus far been a temptation that I have been unable to resist. When traveling, I see a menu & I just can’t contain myself. It puts me weeks backwards on any weight loss everytime I travel, even for an overnight! At home there are no gyms, pools, walking trails, bike trails etc that are groomed. They allow us to walk inside the schoolhouse for exercise during the school year. In the summer we can walk to track at the school, or in my neighborhood. Most streets are dirt roads and we share them with the Amish horses so watch out where you step lol. So I walk at the school & I dance. And I go overboard when I’m out of town around new sensational foods. But I am learning & using new habits that help. I just wanted to give all the newbies a bit of history. I am in remission for breast cancer so taking care of myself is vital & I hate my setbacks more than you know. I am caring for my adult (but childlike) Autistic son alone. My husband passed away 3 years ago this month. I was his caregiver for several years & that was tough. I own & run two small businesses from my home/on my property. Cabin rentals. It keeps me active. My hands are full & it is difficult to do all of this alone now, but I strive & I do my best. I have lost a lot of weight in the past year, but these past few months (since fall) have been horrid. I am trying to get back on track & I consider my necessary travels a setback. Bittersweet. I enjoy getting out there in the world, yet I don’t because of its impact on me. I thank everyone for their continued support. The ideas I have been given are tremendous. I want you to know that none of it is wasted on me. I am not always on target, but I use them all in my strong times. You’ve made all the difference in my little world. Thanks for the chance to introduce myself to all of you who do not yet really know me.
03/20 ….. ….. Travel-no scale. Will log & post as able.
03/21 ….. ….. Travel-no scale. Will log & post as able.
03/22 ….. ….. Daytime travel home today. Pot luck tonight. Oh my!
03/23 ….. ….. Final round weigh in. What is the total damage? Covering my eyes when I hit that scale!
