    You should have seen it in its day! It was epic. Then it got shut down and there was a lot of hate that drove people away. It's sad. This place was home. Most days it was the only thread I came into the forums for

    But without colloquy the lurkers won't have anything to read.

    The deletion of the thread achieved their purpose then - muzzling of what was deemed inappropriate . From your observation, isn't the forum slow in general? Not just this thread/group of posters ?
