I took long enough...but I'm almost 86 pounds down now with some major health and fitness changes that began in January 2018 I'm in SUCH a better place both physically and emotionally that I've ever been...I've been amping up training even harder this year and the changes have been amazing. My husband and I are prepping together for America Ninja Warrior 2020 tryouts and we're going to build an obstacle course in our yard this summer for all the neighborhood kids to train on, too!

A very major difference! Great job!2 -
Does this work? It’s my first post ever! Have been browsing the boards for months and finally have something to share.
SW 76.8 kg
CW 64.2
Height 175 cm
Start photo dates from July 2019 but most of my weight loss (11kg) has been this year, and chiefly because I have quit booze.

I don’t have any pictures from when I weighed before I started but I do have some from when I started and now.
My heaviest I was at 180 and I’m currently at 145. Still have 20 pounds til my goal weight though.85 -
The two most effective changes I made was to start accurately counting all my calories without exception. And two, find a excercise routine that I could stay consistent with.77 -

You don't need to do any direct ab work to get a 6 pack, that comes from losing the fat above it. he may have done ab work, but it is the fat loss that gave the definition, not the work. Most people that do heavy compound lifting don't require additional ab work to strengthen their core.4 -

I finally hit 50lbs lost!!! I'm not quite at goal yet - 15 more pounds to lose, but I'm excited that I've finally hit 50lbs! For reference, I'm 5'4, SW: 194, CW: 144. Using MFP, C25K, cardio DVD's, and youtube exercises, is how I'm doing this. Never did a "diet" like keto, but just kept working on staying under my calorie limit. I also plateaued for almost 8 months, during my journey, until I readjusted my goals on MFP. This 50lbs took me a slow 2 years - I'm not in a race to get to my goal by a specific day, but want whatever I do to work for me long-term. And I don't care if it takes me 10 years to reach my goal, I'm going to KEEP GOING!!! I hope you all do, too! Also, I love everyone's success stories/photos. They're so inspiring!

My heaviest ~265 (First Picture, Nov. 2018) Started tracking food, water, etc. in MFP Jan 11th @257lbs. (What I consider my official starting point.) 90 days in, April 11th. Over 57lbs lost and under 200lbs for the first time in about 25 years. Lean protein, low carb nutrition. NOT KETO! Just clean eating, and almost no "off the shelf" foods. And yes, the same shirt in both pictures. :-)

In incredible transformation in such a short time! The shirt looks like it is much more comfortable. Great work.8 -
@Bruser365 you look so much younger! Great job*1

Still during. May always be during. But at least getting somewhere.111 -
On the left (about 4ish years ago) fat and perpetually single. On the right (last weekend) semi-decent looking with my wife and two month old baby girl 😊206
