To get under 200lbs. It's been over 5 years since I've been under 200. I'm 20 away and I'm so excited to lose it!16

...To get rid of the damn moobs.11

Rented a beach house for a week to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday in July. 15lbs to go to be under 150, started at 242. I know how proud and supportive he is and that he wants to show off my hard work to our family and friends. I’m really stepping up my game at the gym so we can blow everyone’s minds! Total vanity/ego goal. This journey started about heath and I’m very focused on fitness but it’s ok to also have a few superficial goals as well!17

To get to 150, which will put me back in a "normal" bmi range (only 2.2 lbs to go)
Then to 145, my pre-pregnancy weight from January 2016
Then to 142, my pre-pregnancy weight from October 2013.
Then 137, which is my lowest weight in my adult life.
From there, ultimate goal is somewhere in the 120s.
Wow - we have exactly the same targets!
Hang on in there!3 -
To be my own inspiration.12

There is a pair of ripped skinny jeans in my closet that I accidentally bought 1 size too small. I really hope to fit into them soon.9

I was gifted some new clothes that were a size to two sizes smaller than my current size. I am determined to get into these by the end of next month.6

I started out at 230. I'm 224 and my mini goal is 200lbs that was pre pregnancy weight. I'm hoping to reach it by October.8

150 - is the top end of my height weight range
135 - is half way and we’re I feel slim at
129 - is the lowest I have ever got back to in 35 years
124 - is what I weighed before I got married at 18 ! No chance of being there again!
Keep up the good work.0 -
lost 30 lbs this years, going to the beach In a couple of weeks and try not to gain weight on vacation, I have gained up to 7 lbs on vacation before so need to be cautious.7

I have a series of mini weight related goals coming up. 1) Weigh less than my husband. He is currently 155, I'm at 157. 2) get to pre-pregnancy weight of 152 (that was 5 years ago) 3) get under 150.
I only have 10-12 lbs more to lose I think so these micro goals will keep me going, especially with a vacation easter and birthdays coming up.

I lost 5Kg that time, but quickly found it again and then some. I've put on weight every year since then.... I'm just over 2Kg away from that goal now.
I feel like I'm finally in the zone, I have managed to remove 10kg of unwanted weight from my body since November 😁
After that, my next mini goal is my lightest weight as an adult. That would be the 5Kg less than my original starting weight that I had lost.
So I've got my first mini goal. My next mini goal is to get under 90. I'm at 92 as of Monday. Have been stuck in the 92kg range for a couplenof weeks, but I know that I will get there if I keep persevering. I'm expecting a whoosh soon as I gained almost 2kg a couple of weeks back (had gotten down to 90.5, but that was a massive loss so expected to gain some of it back) and I have taken 300grams off since then, so I'm waiting for it to all catch back up.6 -
Family pictures scheduled for next week. We haven't had a family picture in years, and it's probably at least partially because I haven't been happy with how I looked. That makes me feel selfish and awful.

To fit into the size 6 skinny jeans I bought in 2013 and only wore a few times before they were too tight to wear anymore.8

So glad this thread is still going because I had a bad day today. Not really my bad day, but because it was bad for the people I love and care about. I've always put myself after the ones I love, people I care about, even strangers in need. But I have finally vowed to myself (at 45) to care for myself, too. I was thin most of my life, got pregnant (to my immense joy) at 36, had complications and became bed ridden and gained almost 100 pounds. Still achieved in so many aspects of my life, but not really when it came to me...my son was sick so often (and I am thankful every day that he is so much better) and my mom passed away, and my dad is in so much pain. Gave up a professional career to make life better for everyone, which no one asked me to do, but it was needed...and a part of me had a really hard time accepting this...and my weight just crept up on me. I've been on MFP since I had my son, when I was desperate to lose a lingering 50 pounds. I've gained 30 pounds since then. But when I sprained my back, and still struggled to do for everyone else, I had a wake up call. My best at my worst was not helping anyone. So I finally bought the spin bike I have wanted for years, I told my son Mommy needs to exercise now so if you need something either tell me now, get it for yourself or wait until I'm done. And even though my son was (unfortunately but oh so much better than before) home sick this week, I still rode my bike and pushed myself...and he cheered me on when I was out of breath but reaching the 100rpm in my beginner training program. I can't even tell you how great that made me feel. He wants me to to be healthy even than more than I think even I want it. I always used to wait until I was alone to exercise before, just not doing it if it wasn't possible, which for too long was the case, so this was a huge step for me. And before anyone worries, while he had a rough go at it, he is a happy healthy boy now, and antibiotics are all that's needed right now. But I finally gave myself permission to think about me, and I lost 3 pounds in a week (not by starving or over working out as in my youth). Not much compared to what I need to lose, but the fact that I lost it instead of gaining it has been such a boost. And today I had no time for me, but I still got 16,000+ steps in, which made up some for not working out. After my son cheered me on I changed my goals from trying to lose all the weight I gained to losing 15 pounds. And I am 20% towards my goal which pushes me to keep going. Then will come the next 15. So much more satisfying than the 60+ goal I have before me. Sorry for the long post, but it's been a bad day. And thank you for the outlet. This post resonates even 4 years after.26

Thank you for sharing ‘a problem shared is a problem cut in half’ Keep up the hard work and be kind to yourself, progress not perfection.7

Reading these threads is sort of a mini goal, the goal being - KEEP BEING HERE. Stay focused and read posts, I've been working hard since Jan 1 and I've been wandering off my path over the last few weeks. All of your posts keep me motivated so my goal is to be HERE, and celebrate others' wins and motivate others who need a little push to keep going. 26lb down....40 to go.11

I’ve been fluctuating within the 230s for 10 days or so and hoping to get below 230 for the first time in 2+ years, so I’ll set a mini goal of 232 (234.6 this morning) and then 229. Tomorrow morning I’m running in a 10K race for the first time and I’m actually pretty excited. I’ve been diligently increasing my distance the past six weeks which culminated with a 7 mile run this past Saturday. Another goal is to finish in under an hour but I think I’ll probably be closer to 55 minutes.12
