Goal: Last round was sad. I was eating what I would expect to be maitenence (since Easter and other events) with making sensible choices while eating out, and upping my exercise, to gain a whopping 2kg (I think. Didn't weigh the last two days). If this wasn't bloat from alcohol I will be very disappointed.
04/23-96.0 kg and 16,200 steps. This started well with dropping 1.3 kg compared to the bloat of last week. Lets hope it remains and I can finally see some progress!

04/23 187.1 lbs gained back a bit over Easter, but that’s ok with me. Goal for today: stay within limit, get in a good walk and finally track water intake consistently!
04/24 185.7 lbs did pretty well tracking water intake yesterday but my long walk was boycotted by my toddler. Goal for today: not as much snacking as yesterday!

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – but I am finding it difficult!
Round 72 I saw my lowest weight since September last year, shame I just nudged up again on the last day . Never mind, this is a new day and a new challenge, so lets rock it !! Over all I'm heading in the right direction, just need to keep going.

04/23 132.8 - walked 7 miles before we travelled back from the Peak District in the afternoon.
04/24 131.4 – yay my lowest weight since early September, lets hope it sticks!! walked 9 ½ miles yesterday, hoping to hit my first 1000 miles walked this year by the end of today
04/25 132 – an hours yoga class plus 10.88 miles walked yesterday which means I hit my first 1000 miles of the year.
04/26 133.6 – Oh man!! Went over the top yesterday on calories, carbs & fats . Babysat 13 month grandson, met up with daughter-in-law and baby granddaughter for lunch & had an enormous piece of carrot cake; why oh why did I not take half home for my DH? It's the old thing for me, if it's put in front of me I can't say no !!! And weather stopped us getting out for a walk . Must have a textbook day today !!!
04/27 132.4 - Well I did have a very good day yesterday; walked just over 10 miles, ate back less than half of extra exercise calories earned, all macros in green ! 97 oz water.
04/28 132 – Not much movement yesterday, it was a family day, an hour and a half travelling each way and rain kept us indoors, but good quality time.
04/29 132 – just short of 11 miles walked yesterday and a good hour and a half in the garden generally tidying, planting, dead heading etc.

04/23 - DNW - and we're home. 4 days of eating out, drinking in the evenings, hotel breakfasts, junk at cheer competition and service station stops - UUUGGGHHH! Why is quick "take-out" / on the road / mass event catering style food always so bad? A National Sporting event and it was all burgers, hot dogs, nachos, chips..... Glad to be home to get back on track and eat some colour again. Food for today planned and will get to the gym tonight for an hour. Just realised we only have 15 weeks till our main summer holiday so time for some serious action as equates to 10 JGM10 rounds left.... Off to unpack now and head to the supermarket for some decent food! Water is the aim of my day.....
04/24 - 146.3lb (+2.1lb) up from the weekend unsurprisingly - although knowing it would be up doesn't help when you actually see it Good food day planned for today, water bottle at my side and my target for the round is to end it lower than I started so need to lose at least 2.2lb over the next 8 days - totally do-able - just need to remain focused. Back to work but still feeling so tired from the weekend...
Nothing in the diary for those 8 days that means I can't remain focused so off we go!
04/25 - 144.7lb (-1.6lb) Pleased with that as it means most of the weekend excess and bloat has gone. Have planned and prepped today and will be at the gym for a PT session tonight. Had a late night last night as stayed up with my girls to watch the All Girls Junior Team England Cheerleaders win gold at the worlds in Orlando so need to try hard to resist temptations today (and will be another late one as the Seniors compete tonight!). Back to work after a long weekend, starting my logging again today after a little 3 week hiatus, down just over a pound during that period so I am quite pleased with that.

I am into the last week of my StepBet Challenge - woohoo. My food logging was pretty accurate yesterday probably hit around maintenance and was a little low on protein, haven't had a chance to do any meal prep this week yet as have things on after work every night. So just doing what I can to stay at a small deficit over the week.

Feeling a bit exhausted this week, I don't normally socialise too much during the week, I prefer to get my exercise and food prep done on these evenings, however, I've had stuff on every night this week, which is quite unusual and it's definitely taking it's toll on me with both food choices and exercise. Looking forward to a much quieter week next week.

Thank kitten it's Friday, even though it was a 4 day work week, it feels like it's been the longest week ever. I have a rowing race over the weekend which has been postponed from Sat to Sun thanks to Storm Hannah which is a bit of a blessing as it means I can have a quiet night tonight and a bit of a lie in, get caught up on some housework and do some food prep.

Weight is up quite substantially after the weekend however, I have started strength training again (feeling DOMs) and did a 10km rowing race over the weekend, my first time in Stroke (Setting pace/steering the boat) which is arguably the toughest position in the kind of boat we row, got sunburn too despite wearing factor 50 - stupid reflective water! Ate a few more carbs too. ALSO....Won my step bet - profit is around $8 plus my original $40 back woohoo.

04/23 – 142.5 – Heading back down after the holiday weekend.
04/24 – 142.5 – I did not sleep well at all last night. I was up 4 times going to the bathroom, so I actually expected to be lower this morning. I’ll be drinking a lot of water today, but will probably limit the amount I drink this evening.
04/25 – 142 – I slept great last night and kept my food on point.

04/29 – 144.5 – Very high sodium weekend including 2 days of sauerkraut. It’s been a couple months since my weight has trended this high. I’ll eat at weight loss calories this week and drink plenty of water to reverse this trend before it gets out of hand. Staying accountable by posting here is what is going to make the difference in keeping off the weight I lost last year.

04/27 13,10 Half way through - even 10 days seems a challenge to me. Busy day with lots of exercise planned - but heading out to see Endgame with family so need to resist snacking at/after cinema
04/28 13,10 Quiet day today, resting after yesterday's mammoth workout. Unfortunately I always seem to be much hungrier the day after rather than on the day. Pondering using some of yesterday's 'spare' calories today
04/29 13,12 Grrr. I didn't kick the scales - I wanted to though. Yes, I know it's just fluctuation, but really??? I really need to make sure this doesn't distract me today. Whistles 'just keep moving forward'
04/30 13,10 Managed not to freak out totally yesterday. Reasonable workout today - have a shoulder strain from Saturday so slightly less energy than usual but better than not going.

04/23-famly vaca 166packing up and heading out today on a family trip to an indoor water park. No scale for the next two days and lots of eating out. Planning on a gain but then right back to work

UGW - somewhere in the mid-130's. Will see what's attainable when I get in the 130's
Goal for round 75 - regroup! Had a high gain at the end of round 74, no set goal just trying to reset after travel and illness and way too much stress eating.
4/23 145.3. Still have a nasty cough so not able to exercise yesterday. Did better with my food choices, although I did dip in to my daughter’s Easter basket. Happy to see a drop and hope it continues. Can’t wait until I can get moving again.
4/24 - 144.6. Still sick, went to doctor yesterday and got some meds to help with the cough. Hoping that helps, not resting is really hard! Wins yesterday: seeing the doctor, tracked food and stayed within calorie goal, hydrated well, took an easy walk with the dog. Hoping to be more active today, starting to go a little stir crazy from the lack of movement.
4/25 - 145.1. Slowly feeling human again. Not happy about the gain but my body is all out of whack due to illness so I didn’t know what to expect. Wins yesterday: slow run/walk, hydrated well, meds helping me feel better. I was bummed about this number going up until I noticed that today is one month since I started tracking and I’ve lost 5 lbs. That is a healthy, sustainable loss and if I could lose 5 lbs a month I’ll be at goal 2 months from now. Feeling more positive after that.
4/26 - 145.1. My body and my mind are stuck! Wins yesterday: long walk with dog. That's about it. Still not sleeping thanks to this cough that likes to pop up at night. Can't lay flat (I do have a prescription cough med that I got but it's not helping the nighttime/laying flat issue). Being tired typically leads to bad decisions. TOM coming in a few days so I'm super hungry. Goal for today is to regroup and plan for the weekend. My daughter has a 2-day softball tournament so we won't be home at all Sat/Sun. Need to pack my snacks and bring plenty of water, and be very mindful when we eat out. I don't know that I'll be able to fit in a workout Saturday, Sunday is a possibility. I don't want these to turn in to excuses but rather just things that are part of my day that I will work around. Happy Friday to all!
4/27- had to get up really early today and completely spaced on weighing. Oops! Will check in tomorrow.
4/28 -145.5. Got mad at myself for a minute today. Then I actually thought about what is going on. I’ve been sick so way less movement this week (today is the first day I feel completely back to normal, yay!). The meds I’m on have backed me up (TMI I know, but it’s a thing going on). TOM due any day now. Thinking about this I realized I’m doing just fine! I’ll see the downward trend again soon.
4/29 - 144.8. Wins yesterday: hydrated well, long dog walk. Grocery shopped and meal planned. Tried to get my house back in order after a week of illness and high stress at work. Doing my best to get back in my routine this week and will hopefully see some drops. (also I swear I posted earlier but don't see my post. Guess I didn't hit post reply? Hopefully I didn't double post).
4/30 -145.3. TOM due today, not unexpected. I tend to fluctuate a good bit the few days before. Yesterday was a good day so I'm not upset about it. Wins yesterday: first real workout in a while, 4 mile run. 3 miles walking with the dog. Hydrated well. Tracked food, over my calorie goal but still in a deficit based on my activity. Goals today - stay the course. TOM fluctuation should be over soon and I'll see where I land. Hydrate lots and keep tracking food.

04/30 - No Scale - Once again, no scale. Stayed at boyfriend's due to another storm rolling through and boy am I thankful he knows how to calm me down. Woke up to the house shaking from thunder (I was dead to the world. So sleepy all day) and it scared the life outta me. I love storms, but I was in too deep a sleep not to be startled. I'm not sure what's happening tonight since I'm going to meet him and the kids for dinner in town. Guess we shall see. Also supposed to storm all day.
I'm a little bloated today but I had rice with dinner and I'm sure that's gotta be it. He grilled chicken with bell peppers last night. (Just another reason to go to his -- he's got a grill and has to cook for kids anyway. I get too lazy to cook and have yet to go grocery shopping). Hoping this is just a blip. Plus, spent about 3 hours outside with his kids and the neighbor's kids playing catch and tag and other fun games. Definitely got activity in.

Previous day's comments for R7504/23- Starting off on a drop which makes me nervous because that means I have to really work to stay on track to end at or below this weight (hit this weight 3 times now, always end up higher. Think its usually a fluke). TOM is coming this week, though, so hopefully it'll show itself and disappear quickly so I can see actual weight and what's going on (: AND AND AND I'm only 0.6 lbs away from my 10lb loss which means my tattoo may have been a bit early, but wanting to show it off has been great motivation for me to keep going. Gotta get that confidence! Only 2.5lbs away from my post-surgery army weight. 10 more pounds and I'm at the top of the range for my pre-surgery army weight and high end of goal. So much happening!
04/24 - what is this?! I double checked. Especially weird given TOM will be here any day and I usually gain during that time. I won't complain but I'm not holding a lot of hope (but still a little bit I'll hold on to) it'll stick. Maybe this is the whoosh from last round finally hitting

04/26- There it is. TOM hasn't arrived yet (slightly odd but it does like to be late sometimes) so I'm assuming this is a combination of TOM and not enough water yesterday. I don't feel super bloated and my stomach seems flatter (though nowhere near what it was on Monday but better than my "normal") so I'll take that as a good sign this is temporary. I have my first baseball game tonight and a murder mystery dinner tomorrow night. Let's see how I do

04/29 - No Scale - Had a crazy weekend and I'm sure I gained something but curious as to whether I lost the TOM weight. Stayed at my boyfriend's last night so no scale for me this morning. Big storm came through and his PTSD kicks in so he asked me to stay at his so he can stay grounded in reality. Ended up working out because I had some really bad nightmares myself so having him close by to remind me I'm safe helped a lot. Nervous for weigh in tomorrow but ready today with salad and some grilled trout he made us last night. Hopefully I can get my water intake up because it was HORRIBLE this weekend and always takes a couple days to get back up.
