    Looks like you're off to a good start. CICO is always a challenge for me too. I buckled down and started getting really accurate with my weighing and it's paying off. Great job!

    What is A1C?

    I'm type 2 diabetic. A1c is the measure of average blood sugar over last 3 months. This challenge lines up with my quarterly bloodwork. 😉

    Emotional eating is a challenge for me too. I think half the battle is being aware that I do it. The other half is being aware in-the-moment! Keep going. 👍

    Hey! This is my first first post ever :)
    I love the idea of joining a challenge, and many times before I set myself short term goals which brought too much presión (and a bit of obsession)
    So 3 months it’s perfect!
    I’ll start today, 16 may, and I’ll finish 16 August.
    I am 1.67 cm and 68 kg and I want to lose 5 kilos. So I guess that’s around 10 pounds ;)

    If you eat even close to regular meals the difficulty is staying under goal not getting to goal. Can you give an example of what you are eating? maybe add in some healthy fats and protein - for example a hand full of nuts has a couple of hundred calories

    I work 18 hour days so I measure and prepackage lunches and dinners there for most days look like this:
    Breakfast:
    2egg omelet w/ cheese & buffalo tuna 238
    Coffee with half and half 60
    Lunch:
    Cauliflower rice bowl w/ ground beef & green beans 257
    Dinner:
    Salad w/chicken & broccoli 134
    Olive oil and vinegar 140
    Daily calorie total: 829

    *Tuna omelet didn't sound good to me but I needed the extra protein in my breakfast since it's usually 7 hrs or more before I have lunch. I opted for the buffalo pack starkist over the lemon pepper (had some in the pantry). Super surprised I actually really like it.

    Cbreit... You sound like you are doing low carb or Keto. You could add just 2 100 calorie snacks after breakfast and lunch and you are there.

    I have been trying to add in a shake with some coconut milk to get more calories but skinny dipped almonds sound like a great addition! Thanks 😁

    So I am a bit late to the challenge so it will run from May 16 - August 16 which actually works really well for me! I will shoot for 20 lbs in that time which puts me within 1 of my goal weight. I need a bit more accountability it seems this summer so I am looking forward to it!
