I was called skinny TWICE this week. I've lost 17kg (I am almost at 40% of my weightloss), but apparently it's noticeable. I don't need the comments, but they are still really nice when you get them
My size 16 (Aus) jeans are getting baggy! YAAAAAAAAAY!17 -

She made me feel like a million bucks, TAX FREE!!!!!!!

Okay. I dig where you're coming from--BUT...you forgot the "TAX-FREE" part, that's a pretty fantabulous part of me "feeling like millon bucks" too Thanks so much for your encouraging reply! {{{{ HUGS }}}}4 -

I did a one-hour moderate impact youtube workout and I felt great afterwards. Before this, I probably couldnt do more than 10 or 15 min max.
Yesterday I weighed myself and Im now exactly the same weight I was at my wedding.
A lady at my church stopped me and asked me what I was doing because I look so good.
I rejected some cookies at work this week and my coworker asked me why. I said I can't eat sweets. And he asked me why. Now if I was fat, I know he wouldn't have asked me that 😆
Im loving this healthy journey Im on.
GET IT honey!!!! What mega fabulous NSVs--super YAY YOU!!!!!2 -

Today I noticed a reduction in my excess saggy baggy skin. I have lost 78lbs and at 62 years old my skin is not as forgiving as it was in my youth. I have been maintaining my weight since July last year. It may be taking time but there is a definite improvement.
Wow! I'm not sure if that avatar pic is you, but if it is---WOW, you're one fabulous looking 62 years YOUNG. You're a winner, period (whether that's your pic or not).5 -
I need to have a day surgery soon (hernia repair). I was visiting with the nurse and she said, "Your weight is good and you are in great shape. You should have no problems and a quick recovery." That's why we start these journeys - to be healthy. I was pretty happy.33

First ever sub 6 minute kilometre on the bootcamp warm up jog. 5 minutes 56 seconds both days this week. I've been trying for a few weeks to get it done in under 6 minutes. The last pb was 6 minutes 10 seconds. I knocked 14 seconds off! Proud is an understatement.
My jeans that I bought not so long ago are now quite baggy on me. I have another pair I bought at the same time (they were marked down from 120 to 40 & 50, I couldn't say no to that deal) that are a size smaller, so equivalent to an AU14, when I tried them on they fit, but were a little tight. I'm planning on wearing them this weekend. I'm actually an AU14 in jeans!!! Wow!15 -

Thank you for the complement.
It is my pic. I had a photo shoot done in July last year when I reached my goal weight of 60kg. The hair colour is thanks to my hairdresser but the rest is all me. I insisted that I did not want to be photo shopped as I wanted the pictures to look like me and not a plastic doll.18 -
I stopped at an outlet mall on my way home from a conference. I went to the Eddie Bauer store looking for pants. I asked if they had any in tall sizes (I'm 6') and was advised that the only talls were on the back clearance rack. The only ones I could find that WEREN'T skinny jeans were a size smaller than I've been wearing. Tried them on. They fit (a BIT snug, but they fit). To top it off, the original price was $80. I paid $9.99.30

- I'm at the last hole on my belt. I did not expect that to happen so soon.
- The biggest surprise of all, though... I considered buying a full length mirror. For the very first time in my life (I'm 47). I did NOT see that coming. It actually brought tears to my eyes, since I have always hated seeing my reflection.
Thanks to everyone who keeps this thread alive, you're all an inspiration!
I never thought about shoulder bones - but yeah - there they are Thanks!7 -

Went to marshalls today to pick up some MUCH needed stuff and here's one of the items I purchased:
If ANYONE would have told me a couple of years ago, that I'd be shopping/buying items called "Skinny Girl" and size medium, I simply would NOT have believe it. As I was driving home, thinking about I got some size medium stuff one of which is called "Skinny Girl" I just smiled and smile. WOW--life is GOOD all the time, even when (not if...but when it seems like it's NOT and especially when it seems like it is (this is a new saying of mine). "Skinny Girl" indeed--BOOM!20 -
Lost another half inch off my waist! From 35 inches down to 28.5! My original goal was 28 inches and I am so close to that now!!!
Also the size 8 skinny jeans I bought a few months ago which fit a bit snug then are now very loose! I was hoping to fit into 6's but looks like I am well on my way to fit into 4's! I have never in my teens/adult life fit into 4's!!!22 -
This. These are the lowest cholesterol readings I've ever had, as long as my doctor has been tracking.

Bought new jeans yesterday. Tried on the 4's and they felt a tad big in the back and I am tired of my clothes being too big, so grabbed some 2's. They fit and look great. When I started this I was between an 8 and a 10 in the same brand. I have never worn a 2 before. It feels a bit surreal but great at the same time. Hoping to be able to wear them for a long time.12

I've been trying to dial in very small bench press techniques to maximize my lifting potential, and today it felt like it was all actually clicking!

Both a NSV- with a bit of SV mixed in. But mostly NSV:
So, over the last year, I have felt pretty stalled out with my progress. I'm not very consistent with working out, and have felt stuck in the 130's for a while now. Well, I did my measurements so I could order the right sizes off of Ebay for some new clothes. I compared to my last measurement, and weigh in which was almost exactly a year ago. And, I have lost around 3-5cm ( I don't remember exactly how many) from my bust, waist, and bum, and a couple more from my thighs. Made me feel a bit better. Also, I haven't maintained the same weight for 1 year, I've been losing at a rate of .17 lbs a week this whole time!12 -
One for the mum's, my bum fits in the swing in the park without the metal digging in my legs!21
-
I have never ( within memory) worn medium sized tops, dresses or sweaters. All of my fat lives in my arms and back it's where I lose last.
Everything I purchased today was a medium. And I have room in them.37 -
Fitting my 16 year olds clothes 🙂17

I went for a walk for half an hour and also did a 20 min you tube exercise work out. So proud of myself finally starting to exercise again. Whilst out walking a stranger in the street said I love your skirt. 🎀 made me feel good about myself for the first time in ages18
