The problem is most really just do not understand the BENEFITS and that’s totally fine. Whatever works for one person doesn’t mean it’ll work for everyone!
When someone finds something that works for THEM there is absolutely NO harm in posting that! Why not be happy that it works for them instead of bashing that person or complaining? Or pointing out YOUR WOE and telling them how great yours is?
Its about that poster not you. You should more say Glad it’s working!
Exactly.thank you.it was intended as you took it, then out the woodwork come those who cant accept it.
I'm loving Keto.
In answer to previous question...7th week now, I'm not a hardened keto dieter as I do like a vodka , my point was I was stuck for weeks at nearly 13st till I tried keto .I now weigh 12'3 and have lost all my belly fat, 11 lbs of water weight though so the "experts " tell me 😂
No one said it was all water wegiht, though of the 11, I would venture to guess 6-9 were water.verybusymomto4 wrote: »Keto is great and I’ve studied the WOE for a year before starting last July!

9 out of the 11 is water? My jeans are now a 32 from 34, my neck is thinner.my face is thinner.my belly is not as fat and my legs are much much thinner.so yes it's all water. Goodness
Water has volume as well as mass, so yes, losing 9 lbs of water and 2 lbs of fat could easily drop you a size in jeans, make your face and neck thinner, etc.11 -
I think it’s also important to mention that while keto can be a great plan for some it can also be dangerous and unhealthy for others and people should check with a doctor before changing their diet so dramatically.
For me, when I did LCHF I got gallstones. I love eating a higher fat diet and find it much easier to maintain deficit that way but I cannot do it now.9 -
The magic word seems the problem .
You need to understand English dialogue to know it means "great" , sorry to come back late into this but time zones are different .
Hope that helps.
Ok about the water weight thing.just felt folk wanted to pee on my chips.(hope you get that lol)6 -

Do you really think that those who comment on posts like these, many of whom having lost large amounts of weight or possibly having been in maintenance for years, are jealous or secretly rooting for people to fail? It's been said repeatedly, we're happy for your success! To point out that some of the weight loss that shows up on the scale is from water is not a dig or trying to ruin it for you- it's trying to raise peoples' awareness of the keto dieting experience so they won't get all discouraged when the weight loss slows down, or if the number on the scale spikes when they have a bowl of pasta. Fat loss takes time. Water weight loss does not. As someone who can retain a large amount of water I will attest that it is better for it to stay mostly gone. It makes me miserable when I blow up with bloat.
The things about water loss is that over time it has a habit of showing back up in small amount or large amounts and masking fat loss for a time which has discouraged MANY people and been the result of MANY people quitting (myself included). No one wants you to quit so it may seem like a harsh lesson but learning it is magic.8 -
Hey all.
I’m attempting Keto (I have celiac diseases and find Keto more nutritious than just gluten free) and would love some friends on here with similar food goals.
Feel free to add me please.
