Generally, packaged cookies aren't worth the calories for me, and honestly, even if they were gluten free I'd give them a pass. They just don't look appetizing at all.20

Definitely not worth the calories to me.
Now some homemade brownies would be awesome!

Wait - those are polarizing? I thought you were going to say something like mayonnaise, ketchup on hamburgers (or hotdogs), or candy corn. Unless you're talking about the dialectical differences pertaining to whether or not you call what's in the above picture cookies or biscuits.11

I HATE those Lofthouse sugar cookies. They look like they might be good, guilty pleasure type of sugary sweets...but they are VILE!

I don't think I've ever seen that particular brand. But I'm suspicious of any product that thinks "soft" is a plus for a cookie. I imagine they're all cake-y and bend-y. No snap. No crunch. Blech.10 -

I've never eaten that brand, but they look similar to ones I have. Bland, simple, only-sweet, generally awful. Bleaagh, no thanks.

Yay! I'm so glad some other people get the horrible qualities of Lofthouse in particular.

I think that brand may go by a different name here, but hose cookies are strictly school party fare. I love cookies, but those are too “kid-friendly” for my tastes. The ones at my grocery store are usually peanut and treenut free though, which is why they make an excellent class party treat.5

Someone brought a couple boxes of the Lofthouse cookies to my office and put them in the break room... They lasted a week.

Heh, I thought it was going to be bread, corn, or potatoes, although ketchup (esp on hotdogs, which is a travesty) and mayo are good ideas, and now that I'm thinking about it, cilantro, of course. Or soybeans.
I went out to dinner tonight, and my friend and I agreed at great length that marshmallows are one of the worst foods ever, so them too.5 -
