      ...mainly because of overuse! In 2004 when I worked in a video store, I thought oh that's kind of cute & clever to quote the Sandlot when my coworker would say this. But I still hear people say it A LOT and I'm annoyed every time.

      Exactly! I don't like that phrase EVER but find it appropriate only when someone buys their first new car/house, decides to move to a faraway city, gets a huge tattoo, etc. Not when they organize their closet or try the new tapas place.
