My weekend was good! My daughter (who is also doing MFP) and her family were here. I stayed under my calories all weekend. The tough one will be this weekend. We are camping for 5 days with our three grandkids and our church family. No cell or internet service so I won't be on MFP. I need to do a good job of pre-planning all of my meals.0

My weekend and monday was not good! i didnt do too bad eating but not good at all! my baby girl went off to kindergarten yesterday! that was awful!!! i cried and was sad, she was happy and strutted in the place like she owned it. it was cute tho her bff and partner in crime is also named madison and the two of them went hand in hand into the school like gang busters!! sad day, but my mom did take me shopping and i got a new outfit that is the smallest size i have worn in my adult life. but back to normal today!! off to get the kids to school, excercise and get this house in order since i begin work on friday!!! boooo! oh well summer is over but now i can get on a normal schedule0

Boy was I bad on Saturday! I didn't feel that well - hay fever - and ended up eating like a pig! Sunday was a little bit better but not much. I did do 30 minutes of Wii Zumba on Sunday but I usually like to go for a couple of really hard workouts on the weekend. It's going to be tough to take a pound off this week - still have to get rid of the half pound that I gained over the weekend!
Last night I went for a bike ride, what I really need to do is run. I dread running, I was a cross country runner in high school and used to love it. In my junior year I started to hate it and haven't been able to enjoy running since. I haven't found any other exercise that has as much impact for me as running. I will have to lace them up a couple of times this week if I want to lose any weight. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday which will make it hard to get in a good workout that day too....
Can't give up..my boyfriend keeps encouraging me and tellingme how much I am toning up and how good I look. Still a long way to go!0 -
well ladies (i think we are all ladies sorry if not) i am yet AGAIN up on the scale, BUT i am in a much better mind set after my mini break down due to starting school and stuff! i am committed to complete this journey and get this weight off for good. thanks for all your help and support! have a great day0

madyncaden- You've had a tough week girl!! Glad you're feeling better now! I know I'm gonna be a wreck in a few weeks when my little one starts!!
hallzz- I hate running too...soooooo much. it's an evil thing. LOL Glad you've got some support at home. That makes everything so much easier!!
Renee-Have a great time camping! It's hard to worry about calories when you're camping. Just make good choices, and enjoy your time away!!
Keep up the good work everyone!!!
As for me- my food choices have been crap lately, I've gotta get my head in the game. Work has been sooo stinkin busy. (I run a hotel, so summer is always super busy for me) And at home we're trying to get ready to go on "vacation" for a week and the boy starts school the monday we return. Then a few days ago my HS choir teacher asked if I wanted to sing in a chorus onstage with Barry Manilow tomorrow!! How awesome, right?! So i've been trying to make that happen (it's about 3 hours from here.) Also I'm trying to finish a quilt for the boy before school starts...rriiiiiight, we'll see if that happens. LOL!
I've updated the spreadsheet finally! Here's a link again- Great job everyone, keep it up!

I'm weighing in early this week. I won't have Internet access while I am camping. I weighed 195.6 this morning! Down just slightly over 1 lb.
Good luck to everyone!0 -
Hi everyone! so far this week has had a lot of ups and downs...example...just ate bag of m and m's..ehhhh oh well... i stepped on the scale this morning and it said 153 :smooched: hope and pray that will be my weigh in this friday!0
-
Ok I will start the weigh in this morning with bad news and hope that others can change the trend! I've been bad and gained a pound this week. I'm struggling to get beyond the 5 pound weight loss. I may need to go to more drastic diet and change my calorie goals for 2 lbs lost per week? Any advice is welcome.

Week 2 weigh-in: 190
Down 3 from last week!
But really, only back to my starting weight... But headed the right direction! :happy:0 -
My Weigh in is 246.5 so one pound last, need to get a little better at the calorie watching, doing ok but need to make smarter choices. Water intake has been going well this week but still no exercise so if I want that weight drop to increase weekly NEED TO FIND the time to exercise.
Hope everyone had a good week and good luck over the weekend, My weekends are always hard to stay on track and cheers to less weight next Friday.
Good luck challenge partners. Even when i dont reply, your posts are motivating0 -
178.8...if I stay at this pace, I'm going to look like **** by the new year :grumble:
Being sick for 2 weeks with a horrible virus, 6 days of traveling and the state fair yesterday. I knew this was going to be a rough couple of weeks and anticipated that I would not do so well. So, now it's over and I definitely need to get back into the swing of real life.
Ummm, since I have been gone, what's this partners thing?0 -
Lost 2 pounds this week!!!!

I can't take much credit for this loss, I've been extremely busy with the start of school that I haven't had much time to eat. As I get settled in, I plan to make more of an effort to have regular and healthy meals and to drink my water.0 -

Forgot about weigh in Friday! Oops! Down 2.7 lbs this week! YAY!!!0
-
Aww crap. . .I keep forgetting about weigh in. . .I weighed myself this morning and I'm at 207. YAY! 74 pounds to go!! =oD0
-
I survived the camping trip with only one day over my calorie goal. I was tripped up by the potluck! I'm still pleased because I didn't go crazy with the snacks like I typically do on a camping trip. Hopefully I can make up for it by Friday weigh-in!0
-
I had a horrible eating weekend that resulted in 2lb gain so I am hoping that with some extra hard work and 2 trips to the gym this week, i can hopefully resolve before Friday's weigh in. Hope everyone has a good week.0

So, we went to the fair yesterday. I didn't eat very well.....uhh..well...it tasted good...but it was soooo bad for me. LOL! We walked all day though, so that's good!
I'll update the spreadsheet with what I've got when I get a chance today.
Is everyone getting their water in???0 -
I'm failing miserably with getting my water in. I'm getting 8 cups in, but I'm used to drinking 30 or so, and my body can definitely tell the difference. Will be taking a water bottle to class, so hopefully that'll help.0
-
I am doing ok with the water during the week while at my desk but not doing very good at all on the weekends. Sardine239 - 30 glasses of water a day, amazing. I would float away or else have to move my work computer into the bathroom.0
-
I know it's a late start but I would love to join this challenge. The motivation would be great! I've kind falled off the wagon late and need to kick it up a few notches and drop those lbs. My current weight is 350, would like to be 300 by new years. My current total loss is 30lbs in 9 months. Will post measurements soon!0

Ha, I went to the fair on last Thursday and again this Thursday. So, I will probably have another dismal weigh-in....0 -
Okay ladies, I need some serious help. I just keep failing to stick with my plan. I'll do two weeks on a MFP on a 1300 a day diet, lose a pound, then stop counting calories for a week and gain 2 pounds. I've gained 8 pounds since I started my fitness pal in this manner. Any suggestions about how to stay motivated and keep the weight from coming back? I almost want to quit because since I've started using MFP I've gained two dress sizes HELP PLEASE!0

I have the same problems... Aaand I'm pretty good at giving advice, and not taking it. When I was losing weight pretty steadily, I literally planned out every single thing that I was going to put into my mouth everyday for a week (or month, depending on how much I was shopping for) in advance. I mean, down to the cream in my coffee. I wrote it all in a notebook, and made my meals and snacks at night for the next day. I didn't stray from that plan, and if for some reason I had to, I worked it into my plan (changed my exercise or something) for the day, and then just continued with what I had planned. When I would start to get bored, or unmotivated or whatever, I'd come on here at look at success stories, some are pretty inspiring. Also, I would look at some really awful pictures of myself. That really got me back in the game.0
